    Buckethead Lesson with subtitles added. I edited it since I uploaded it under goofygooberock to make it better
    Some mistakes:
    1:12 to 1:14 - and then you can still live
    3:26 to 3:29 - played some Shawn Lane tape

    I like this version better that the "Edited" version as you get to hear about the slaughter house & stuff. I heard he wears the bucket in Protest more than to conceal Identity. Still; Bucket or not, this guy is a total genius .

    His strange explanations really help to conceptualize what he's doing on a technical level, oddly enough.
    The whole roller coaster thing or the bit about that computer exploding made a whole lot of sense.

    he has that tuned half a step down, so pretty much what you do is hold down all 3 top string on the 2nd fret *half step down tuneing* then do the action he does 0-00- then hit the A and D string then its easy to figureout from there

  • @thaustin14
    @thaustin14 15 років тому

    yeah, well he could be doing the numbers like that for emphasise and u cant really say he has finger problems..... i mean he does play this..... oh and the wall has some sort of powder and he is wiping sweat, moisture, oil off of his hand, and also is makes his fingers less rough, as in less friction, and that makes it easier to play and move on the guitar and stuff lol
    but good point...

  • @thaustin14
    @thaustin14 15 років тому

    i dont think so
    i think he just made that different voice so nobody would recognize his voice, and found a good style of talking for it, because i doubt thats his real voice, and it seems to fit perfectly with the way he is talking

    But he's really a bit strange, I know that he has an image, but I can imagine a lot of things why he's wearing that mask.
    Maybe he's shy, or he may be really ugly and he doesn't want to show his face, or he's just really a kind of..ghost :P

    You really cant compare, hendrix will always be known for creating one the best guitar solos and licks, plus lots of stuff that is played now is influenced by hendrix. He did amazing melodic patterns.
    I love buckedhead, he is a great guitarist. I have listened to him more, but dont speak of stuff you dont fully understand. You cant just pick one side to know about, you have to understand what hendrix did first...
