I don't think Baylan wants to start a new order of anything. I think what Baylan is looking for, is balance. He's correct in pointing out that it's a cycle that never ends. As Lucas himself said, it's like poetry. The same thing keeps happening over and over again. The Republic/Jedi go to war with bad guys. Bad guys take over. Republic/Jedi take it back over. On repeat ad Infinium. I think whatever Baylan senses or whatever is calling to him is something he things will help stop that cycle. Will it? Probably not. Something he believed to be some sort of source of the Dark Side. I really wonder if, to go all out for the movie Filoni is getting, if he is going to bring Abeloth back from Legends and put her into the canon again. Filoni n Kennedy spent some time in Japan last year at IG productions creaters of Ghost in the Shell n Star Wars Visions n also hence the heavy Japanese’s influence in the series. Ezra and Sabine’s reunion is the most genuine and wholesome scene we’ve gotten from live action SW in a very long time. No unnecessary subversion of expectations, no cheap references, no dumb jokes that kill the moment. Just a simple and emotionally satisfying hug.
Travelling via hyperspace throughout the galaxy, from one star to another, is one thing. Travelling from one galaxy to another, is a completely different thing. To put into perspective, our galaxy is a typical sized galaxy, at 100,000 light years across. Typically, stars are anywhere from 3 to 20 lightyears apart in distance. Now, the nearest galaxy to us is the Andromeda, which is over 2.5 million lightyears away. You can imagine how larger a distance that is and how faster you'd need to travel via hyperspace. That's why they build the hyperspace ring and why it shot off so powerfully, because it was ultra-hyper. That's why hyperspace looked slightly different, to point out to the viewer that they were travelling many times faster than usual hyperspace.
Seriously, why would Sabine not tell Ezra that Thrawn let her go to find him? It seems pretty obvious that Thrawn would try and follow her. I mean how many times has she and her friends fallen into one of his traps in Rebels?
1) Obviously, she is afraid of telling him the truth. Knowing her personality she's quite reckless, arrogant at times and didnt think about the consequences 2) I mean the Rebels crew are quite an emotional bunch, they are driven by emotion and hopes while Thrawn is cold and calculating, he simply wanted results. It's a battle of heart and brains.

Blud, the choreography for Sabine makes so much sense because of these points: she is not an experienced jedi padawan, in episode 3 we see Huyang tell Sabine that her form is not bad, but not good either, and she does not have the ability to reach out to the force (as we know of) and using the force during sabercombat to predict moves and move faster is not something she is able to do. Thus the choreo for Sabine makes perfect sense for her level of skill. All the other lightsaber fights (Ahsoka/Baylan, Ahsoka/Marrok, Ahsoka/Anakin) have legit been good choreographies because it reflects their skill level.
I'm glad we finally got "some" shin character developed, idk i think she is casted aside for the most part, i like her and that scene with them 2 talking was really good
Choreography is fine for sabine, she isn't suppose to be great at using a lighsaber in the first place so i think it's great how she is for now

Stop complaining about the damn choreography.....It is supposed to be this way. Sabine lacks proper training in Lightsaber combat, she is struggling to be in tune with the Force, Same as with the previous battles this is not prequel era prime Jedi fighting

Yo theory in the subtitles of the episode when it showed Thrawn’s storm troopers they are called “Night Troopers” I think they’re all dead and the Night Sisters used their magic to bring them back just like Elsbeth did the same for Marrok
What's Sabine's problem with telling the whole truth? That's important info on how she got here and what's happening. After six episodes I have to say I don't like her attitude to all this, it places people in danger...It's all about what she wants.

They pulled a Mando S3E3 on us again, but the difference is this time it was necessary for the plot. Eman Esfandi was great casting for Ezra and Thrawn acts exactly as he should, wanting to learn absolutely everything about the enemy before taking them on. Overall a solid 8.5/10 episode!
*THRAWN!* *THRAWN!* *THRAWN!* 🧞♂️ Episode 6 is the best episode so far. It moved the story more than the previous 5 episodes combined. F yeah! So much to unpack here! When Ahsoka said: The first one is the best one from three parts from the history of the galaxy, was that a wink at the Original Trilogy, a wink at Episode 1-3 (when the Jedis were still in their heyday and when she first appears), or a wink at Dawn of the Jedi, a movie we haven't seen it? James Mangold better not screw it up! Huyang finally said it: A long time ago... in a galaxy far, far, away. I've never heard those words uttered in live-action. Only makes sense he was the one who said it given his age. Finally, live-action Nightsisters! And they sound so cool! I finally get to see what Mother Talzin would look like in live-action. She happened to be Darth Maul's mother. The Grand (Admiral) appearance by Thrawn, the new Führer.. It was like hearing, Heil Hitler! Heil Hitler! It looked so epic. A memorable first live-action appearance. I think this guy is going to end up my favorite for the entire series. And that's saying a lot because I really enjoy Baylan and Shin too. Seeing Thrawn standing in a room with Morgan, the Nightsisters, Baylan, Shin, and Sabine was so cool. And yet, he stood out over all of them. Imagine the level of charisma and fascination Ray Stevenson brought for Baylan Skoll in those first 4 episodes only to be outshined by Thrawn the moment he first appears? Shin Hati, who rarely talks, finally got to speak the most for her character in this episode. I've heard Ivanna saying this was her favorite episode. She finally had more than 2 to 5 sentences to say. We finally have more info on Baylan's grand plan. Even got to hear him speak about the Jedi Order. But I'm still curious, why Peridea? It doesn't look like Baylan wants to leave that place which looks Iike a dump. Sabine finally kicked ass in this episode. I root for her because she kept getting her ass kicked by Shin. I feel she comes off as this scrappy underdog. And Sabine seems to have a more livelier personality than Rosario's Ahsoka and Mary's Hera. I hate rats but I kinda liked that rat horse Sabine rode on while she was following those little rock/turtle species. And finally, we get to see Ezra! What a reunion! I didn't expect to see him until Ep 8 but we got him. This episode is already a top 7 among SW series episodes. I'm still undecided if it belongs in the top 5 but it's high. It revealed so much. I knew within the first 20 minutes with 26 minutes to go that this was the best Ahsoka episode already. Ironically, an episode that wasn't focused on Ahsoka. Listen, I did enjoy seeing Hayden returning in Ep 5. Best performance he ever did for Anakin. But I did not feel that episode moved the story very much. Just member berries. And Rosario's Ahsoka just doesn't seem interesting enough for me to care about. I love Rosario since 1995 but I'm just not sure I'm fascinated by her PTSD Ahsoka. She always sounds bored or stoned but without the laughing. Episode 6 gave us both Thrawn and Ezra while we finally see the Nightsisters in live-action. Lars Mikkelsen as Thrawn did a masterclass job. He has the biggest screen presence and that's saying a lot because Ray and Ivanna are doing an incredible job of their own as these mercenaries. I'm glad they moved at the pace they did. I did not want this series to peak this soon. I feel let's save that for the final two episodes and usually the season finale is the best one or among the highest-rated. I can't believe we have 2 more episodes because Ep 6 already feels like their Mt. Everest of this season. They might still go higher! I don't feel Thrawn is a tyrant at all. He's calm and calculated. A real strategist. No wonder when I saw a poll which had Thrawn against other Rebels characters, he was the majority's favorite character. We needed to see him to understand what's at stake and Ep 6 finally gave us him while throwing in Ezra as a bonus. Ahsoka Ep 6: Far Far Away, 9.5/10 Lars Mikkelsen's performance: 10/10 Most charismatic performance and first appearance I've seen since Matt Smith's Daemon Targaryen in the first episode of House of the Dragon. Lars killed it! A+ Thank you, Jennifer Getzinger, for directing a fantastic episode. And thank you, Dave Filoni, for writing it. Better than the episode he directed last week. Best Ahsoka Characters (after 6 episodes) 1. Thrawn 2. Baylan 3. Shin 4. Sabine 5. Huyang 6. Chopper 7. Morgan 8. Carson 9. Ahsoka 10. Hera The standouts are really that top 3. Thrawn vs. Baylan is neck-and-neck. Almost like a dead-heat. Baylan could kill Thrawn in a fight since Thrawn doesn't fight with a lightsaber or use the Force. But Thrawn is a military genius. Modeled after Napoleon, Erwin Rommel, Alexander the Great and Sherlock Holmes. www.cbr.com/star-wars-thrawn-inspiration/ Grand Admiral Thrawn creator Timothy Zahn discussed the thought process that went into creating the fan-favorite Star Wars villain. "I wanted to capture the Star Wars feeling, but I did not want to go over the same territory that George Lucas had already gone over, so that meant no superweapon, no Death Star, no Darth Vader-type, no Emperor-type. Which left me thinking, ‘Okay, so what else have we got?’" Zahn told Star Wars Insider. "Vader and the Emperor ruled by manipulation and fear, so, how about somebody who would lead through loyalty? What kind of character could inspire that type of loyalty? He needed to be a strategic and tactical genius, so that they’d know they had a good chance of winning. He cared about his troops. He was willing to accept good suggestions from subordinates. And then, finally, since we did not see a lot of aliens in the Empire, I wanted to make him a non-human, on the grounds that, if he got to be a Grand Admiral, he had to be something very special." Mitth'raw'nuruodo, better known as Grand Admiral Thrawn, is a member of the Chiss race who served as a high-ranking officer in the Imperial Navy. The character was created by Zahn and debuted in 1991's Heir to the Empire -- the first novel in the Thrawn Trilogy. However, his original history was effectively erased when Lucasfilm declared the Expanded Universe no longer canon, and he was reintroduced in Season 3 of Star Wars Rebels.
Im a massive fan of the Canon Thrawn Trilogies, and this didn't seem like that Thrawn to me. It seemed like Legends/Rebels Thrawn. More... Tarkin-esque. We'll see if they develop him, or if he's acting like this to get back to the Chiss... I'm very critical of his character, and the portrayal of him will determine whether or not I like the show going further.
Bro, these Stormtroopers, are they like Zombies or something brought back to life by the sisters?! And oml, if they do what i think they might do with that power, im gonna freak tf out. He says he needs the sisters power once more, .... for WHO, .... who they need to fight Ashoka?! Thrawn having a plan right there and its scary!
I dont think so. He'd have to be smarter going about it considering he highly respected Anakin, he fought alongside him during The Clone Wars and he isnt scared of Vader. On top of that he knew Vader is Anakin just by deduction
Loved the episode 9/10. It didn't go filler episode like last season of Mando with Jack Black and Lizzo. Loved the further character development of Balan.

isn't it weird that thrawn doesnt know anything about ahsoka?he was one of the few people to know that vader was once anakin,at least according to legends, and he is one of the smartest and more knowledgeable characters there are.
To be fair, by the time he was introduced in Rebels to fight Phoenix squadron, Ahsoka would have been presumed dead on Malachor. Thrawn doesn't strike me as the kind of character to waste time learning about threats that are already dealt with :/

Here is the information you are looking for on Balin:: Balin is hoping to change the cycle of Dark Side Sith and Jedi that happens over and over by going back in time using the world between worlds to change things. Balin is aware of the Jedi Legends about this planet having a gateway entrance to the world between worlds. On top of that he may have heard that Ezra has been there before and may want to use his knowledge to assist in him completing his plans. Of course Bridger is not likely to agree with Balin and wont give him the indormation he is looking for. Ezra MAY be aware of the entrance on this planet via his connection with the Force Wolves that reside on this planet. Thats the insider scoop so believe it if you dare!! But its correct.
The conversation between Thrawn and Morgan about Baylon seems possibly a little foreshadowing. "He told you he killed Ahsoka and yet he was once also a Jedi." And Baylon telling Shin he is there for a purpose. Either Baylon is going to turn out to help the Jedi OR he will confront Ezra and Sabine and Ahsoka will show up for rematch and kill Baylon. Baylon seems extremely calculated, can read thoughts and has strong foresight. He doesn't seem to make mistakes.
I disagree with the choreo thing here. Sabine's choreo with the blasters was pretty damn good showing that she is highly proficient with her Mando weapons. Lightsaber choreo was clunky to show that she needs work there.

First few of thoughts I have, where in the history of the Nightsisters do Zabraks come in? My pet theory so far is the Nightsisters came from here, thought Zabraks made good breeding stock. Second, Thrawn must have priotised keeping his forces in order and keeping the Star Destroyer functioning. It looks like that trooper with the bronze faceplate is a show of how they made replacement parts any way they could, probably going back to the very basics of mining, smelting and shaping metal. 2.5 - Doggo. Three, Space Hobbits. The little hermit crab people are Space Hobbits IMO. Also looks like they made use of whatever they could grab from Thrawn's forces to make their equipment and even housing. But Ezra is kinda serving as their own live-in Gandalf. Four, Eman is wearing contacts. This makes me wonder if Jacen's actor had problems with contacts so they just handwaved on that and let Jacen have brown eyes. Certainly Rosario, Eman, Mary, and Ariana have the patience to wear some in the their roles, and that is just the ones I am sure of, who are constant contacts. The trailer that showed Thrawn seemed touched-up, but I would presume Lars had some too. Anakin was only temporary, while he was channelling Vader.
The reason I love this show is it sticks it to Kathleen Kennedy, Leslye headland and all of these directors and actors that claim the fans are just sexist. The actors for shin, ahsoka, young ahsoka and Sabine (excluding the stomach stab) are doing a phenomenal job and it really shows that the fans really meant it when we say "we don't care if the cast is male or female just make the show good". If the directors for Kenobi developed Reva like Shin or if the sequel trilogy developed Rey like Sabine and not make her instantly op they would've been great and I hope Kathleen Kennedy could realize this too.
About the choreography. I'm more aware how they clearly are swinging wide. You can also def see them waiting to attack when they clearly have at least 3 seconds to make a move but wait...lol. Just a me thing.
This episode was great. The older I get the more I realise that there really is no pleasing a Star Wars fan, whoever commented with the ‘here for Ashoka and Thrawn not to follow Sabine in a village’ 🙄 like bruh nothing wrong with following Sabine for one episode, she’s clearly integral to both Ashoka, Thrawn and Ezra. This show is just as much a continuation of Rebels than it is a show following Ashoka. Always find something to complain about
people complaining that she lied to Ezra and is super annoying are completely clueless, those fans always expect the characters to act like they have the knowledge of what the fans know, its so difficult for them to grasp that Sabine is like this because she absolutely has nothing else to live for, her entire family is dead and Ezra is the only one like family to her so it makes complete sense for the character?

Thrawn was PERFECT. Im so happy for Star Wars, and so extremely sad that we got the Sequals. Wish they could just start over from where they're at right now. Scrap the sequals and start over from after the Ahsoka show.
The only things Thrawn didn't ask about Ahsoka were her bank account and social security number.
I wonder if they will show flashbacks of Anakin with Thrawn? And pretty much get a wild turn of retconing Thrawn Aliances.
That would be so crazy!
That would be actually wild...
If they show Thrawn with Anakin then there's chance Padmé could make a return as well since she's also in Thrawn: Alliances.
The choreography is really good. It feels more like people are actually fighting with swords than with floating sticks.
No it looks bad
@@OTB2002My thoughts towards the fight style of Sabine with the lightsaber is that they want to show us, that she is still not experienced and her teaching is not finished yet. I think it makes sense that she looks kinda whacky!
@@linusohlen1925 I think so too.
@@OTB2002Sabine is portrayed clunky at fighting because her training is lacking and incomplete. I have no idea how Theory doesn't pick up on this.
If I had to guess: Theory has a massive hard on for Nick Gillard. so let's us ALL expect him to complain about ANY choreography moving forward. 💀
@@linusohlen1925 yeah, I find it obvious too. Till now the coreography of the lightsabers duels have been used well as a narrative tool and not just for spectacle (I'm looking at you Prequels) and here is no exception.
I am however very interested to see what he finds though because this is approaching Sidious level stuff. Sidious also sensed something outside the galaxy. Something he believed to be some sort of source of the Dark Side.
I really wonder if, to go all out for the movie Filoni is getting, if he is going to bring Abeloth back from Legends and put her into the canon again. I know Filoni loves to pull things back into canon from old legends books/comics so this would be an incredible time for that to make a return.
Filoni is getting a movie??

I'm getting serious Kreya vibes from Baylan. I wouldn't be surprised if his objective was to find a way to stop/block/control the force.
OMG THIS EPISODE WAS AMAZING!!!!!! Seeing Thrawn in Live Action was Incredible!!!
I'm so Happy they got Lars Mikkelsen to Play Him again because
He is Perfect as Thrawn! And of course, We got to see Ezra too

Internet literally blowing up over Thrawn
On second watch, I truly believe Ezra is playing the part of being clueless. I think he knows exactly what is going on: with the planet, thrawn, and how Sabine got there. I theorize he is more in tune with the force somehow and is playing Clueless towards Sabine in order for her to tell the truth
doubtful
either he is playing the Yoda style-like facade or he is still naive. We'll find out soon enough next ep.
Agreed. It’s obvious that Sabine is hiding something (you don’t need the Force to see that). So he’ll play along in the meantime.
Note that he told the crab ppl to roll out. He knows.
Don’t give the writers that much credit.
Filoni n Kennedy spent some time in Japan last year at IG productions creaters of Ghost in the Shell n Star Wars Visions n also hence the heavy Japanese’s influence in the series. Also big revelation that Qui Gon Jinn earlier apprentice was Xanatos who had a son Baylan which is why you see heavy Qui Gon style influence in him
I thought that Thrawn entrance was one of the best ever.
It gave me the chills.
Same man…had goosebumps all over :)
You had mention of the name Enoch from The Bible. Did you also notice when Sabine was released, it was very similar to The Ten Commandments when Moses was released by Pharaoh out into the desert? Yul Brynner was most excellent in that movie and as an actor. If you have not yet seen the original movie Westworld, be sure to check it out!
This episode gave me Dune vibes and I was very into it.
yeah was thinking the exact same thing. It had some strange tonal shifts though. Like it went from Dune to I dunno, Star Wars Christmas special...and I just don't think Sabine's acting is all that great...
@@SamyasaSwi that's what made it feel Star Wars though. It's like "very Dune vibes" to "character making friends with a tiny cute people who are the ewoks of this world" and also "character's pet/Droid/mount is comic relief"
@@littlebrokenhead8674 well..... Not really I think. Sure Star Wars always has had a mix of seriousness and lightheartedness, but in this case I felt the difference was too great.
@@SamyasaSwi fair enough! I appreciate your opinion anyway 🙂
Ezra and Sabine’s reunion is the most genuine and wholesome scene we’ve gotten from live action SW in a very long time. No unnecessary subversion of expectations, no cheap references, no dumb jokes that kill the moment. Just a simple and emotionally satisfying hug.
I thought it was underwhelming emotion wise.
Enoch is badass. Hope we learn more about him
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they do what they did with Morrok, make a cool character and probably kill him off by the end of the season.
@@yourGrandma17and same thing with Phasma. Cool looking soldiers always get disappointing ends in star wars so don’t get your hopes up.
These are great Theory reaction summarizes, love these and would love for one for each watch party.
This must be what hyperspace looks like from the purgils perspective since they travel differently in their own lane
Knowing her personality she's quite reckless, arrogant at times and didnt think about the consequences
2) I mean the Rebels crew are quite an emotional bunch, they are driven by emotion and hopes while Thrawn is cold and calculating, he simply wanted results. It's a battle of heart and brains.
@@primecoconut4204 Bruh I can’t wait for Ezra’s reaction to the truth, knowing that his “ultimate sacrifice” will mean nothing lol

Ya Ezra did this grand sacrifice and Sabine had to do the opposite to get to him sooo?
Stopped taking this dude seriously when he complained about Andor.
Theory: Ooh yeah we’re gonna learn all about the Nightsisters!
Also Theory 5 mins later: Oh no, i don’t like witches 💀
«What was first just a dream have become a frightning reality for those who opose us» THRAWN
Improve the choreography? It's Sabine fighting here, not Ahsoka. She's supposed to be mediocre at best with her saber.
It’s been 10 years since season one of rebels we finally got our rebel boy back. I think thrawn wants some of that witch magic
Rebels began in 2014
This was a good idea , I miss your watch parties so videos like this still give me the feeling of being in a watch party, thanks Theory
I'm glad we finally got "some" shin character developed, idk i think she is casted aside for the most part, i like her and that scene with them 2 talking was really good
I will never cease to be amazed at how indecisive and hive-minded the chat is lmao
Now we just a need scene where the Ghost Crew is all together like the old days of Rebels.
With Jacen taking his father's place
Choreography is fine for sabine, she isn't suppose to be great at using a lighsaber in the first place so i think it's great how she is for now
Stop complaining about the damn choreography.....It is supposed to be this way. Sabine lacks proper training in Lightsaber combat, she is struggling to be in tune with the Force, Same as with the previous battles this is not prequel era prime Jedi fighting
That is how you make an entrance. Thrawn is badass, and that Star Destroyer was so nice to see.
had to just pause it to say real quick. if the chorography was nick gillard level for Sabine with a saber. we would all be complaining thats shes too good with a saber. i like the face shes not as good as we seen anakin and ahsoka last week.
Loved the worldbuilding in this episode. Interacting with different species is what Star Wars is about imho.

What's Sabine's problem with telling the whole truth? That's important info on how she got here and what's happening. After six episodes I have to say I don't like her attitude to all this, it places people in danger...It's all about what she wants.
Its the bad f writing
She believes they are stuck there now together so I'm sure she's gonna tell him whats up eventually (probably once Baylan and Shin find them)

Filoni is the master of putting together villains that really put the Jedi to the test. First Maul and Death Watch, now Thrawn and the Nightsisters
*THRAWN!* *THRAWN!* *THRAWN!* 🧞♂️
Episode 6 is the best episode so far.
Ahsoka Ep 6: Far Far Away, 9.5/10
Lars Mikkelsen's performance: 10/10
Most charismatic performance and first appearance I've seen since Matt Smith's Daemon Targaryen in the first episode of House of the Dragon. Lars killed it! A+
Thank you, Jennifer Getzinger, for directing a fantastic episode. And thank you, Dave Filoni, for writing it. Better than the episode he directed last week.
Best Ahsoka Characters (after 6 episodes)
1. Thrawn
2. Baylan
3. Shin
4. Sabine
5. Huyang
6. Chopper
7. Morgan
8. Carson
9. Ahsoka
10. Hera
The standouts are really that top 3. Thrawn vs. Baylan is neck-and-neck. Almost like a dead-heat. Baylan could kill Thrawn in a fight since Thrawn doesn't fight with a lightsaber or use the Force. But Thrawn is a military genius. Modeled after Napoleon, Erwin Rommel, Alexander the Great and Sherlock Holmes.
www.cbr.com/star-wars-thrawn-inspiration/
Grand Admiral Thrawn creator Timothy Zahn discussed the thought process that went into creating the fan-favorite Star Wars villain.
And then, finally, since we did not see a lot of aliens in the Empire, I wanted to make him a non-human, on the grounds that, if he got to be a Grand Admiral, he had to be something very special."
Mitth'raw'nuruodo, better known as Grand Admiral Thrawn, is a member of the Chiss race who served as a high-ranking officer in the Imperial Navy.

Interesting theory
The conversation between Thrawn and Morgan about Baylon seems possibly a little foreshadowing. "He told you he killed Ahsoka and yet he was once also a Jedi." And Baylon telling Shin he is there for a purpose. Either Baylon is going to turn out to help the Jedi OR he will confront Ezra and Sabine and Ahsoka will show up for rematch and kill Baylon. Baylon seems extremely calculated, can read thoughts and has strong foresight. He doesn't seem to make mistakes.
Love the 3 mothers as a derivative of hecate

Hyper Space looked different because they were going Ludicrous Speed 😂
This episode was great. The older I get the more I realise that there really is no pleasing a Star Wars fan, whoever commented with the ‘here for Ashoka and Thrawn not to follow Sabine in a village’ 🙄 like bruh nothing wrong with following Sabine for one episode, she’s clearly integral to both Ashoka, Thrawn and Ezra. This show is just as much a continuation of Rebels than it is a show following Ashoka. Always find something to complain about
people complaining that she lied to Ezra and is super annoying are completely clueless, those fans always expect the characters to act like they have the knowledge of what the fans know, its so difficult for them to grasp that Sabine is like this because she absolutely has nothing else to live for, her entire family is dead and Ezra is the only one like family to her so it makes complete sense for the character?
those hermit crab people is more like Ewok rather than Jawas. they are not thieves
