Perhaps people in this area don't know how to design or build ... drains? It might be so complex a subject that road builders have to call in special teams of physicists and engineers if they *really* need them. Otherwise, they do ... whatever the folks who built this road did?

Mr Doma let report to your local authority to permanently solve the drainage problem... the outlet must connect with 300mm drainage pipe prior to flow rain water to the nearby earth drain... if not the soil between the concrete kerb and earth drain will be washed/eroded and more prob in future
Wow! This road is more than poorly designed, this is a disater. First of all, why use curbs if the drain tranch is next to the road? Let it flow in there from everywhere from the road the road (less erosian of soil). And draining water from one lane on the other?? Damn this could've been improved before the road was built.

In order to discharge the water on the road, gutters need to be made in the area where it is cleaned and in similar places.
What genius come up with the idea of water draining straight onto the ground below the road. Have these engineers not heard of erosion?

Why you didn't search the place, where the water glows into the road and fix this so it wouldn't leave the river.

whoever designed and permitted that roadway with those islands in the middle and small canals but almost no storm drains needs to be fired or sued.
