I’m glad I waited because I was about to purchase the DC706 from you until I seen this G3. I talked to Autel and they didn’t give me no information on how auto technician would be able to program keys which I think it’s not fair. but I see that you have the solution with the G3 so I will get the G3 and upgrade it to the DC 706. I’m waiting for you to reply back to me so we can start the classes and I’ll get thr G3 during the classes.😊

G.M. "executives" shut down the OBDstar access to the server for the 2022+ Can-FD cars and it never came back. It's the only reason I bought the OBDstar and it's useless on new G.M. models. They sold me a device that doesn't do what it claimed. Bad business practices!
What device are you referring to? Also because they may have shut them out doesn't mean OBDSTAR intentionally did something to you..

Because autel sucks at the nastf tit for their pids and access so they're gonna enforce the new vsp requirements. Anybody that did their own reverse engineering isn't signing up to screw their techs. Autel can pound sand

Hi. I just got my tool about a week ago so far so good just one question key renewal function fails on everything. It couldn't be user mistake because I have old OBD star keymaster DP300 . And I have had done too many times. It's obvious tool needs some kind of activation order some glitch with the tool could you help me with that please
How does it handle the FCA star modules? I don't see a 12+8 adapter available for purchase either.

GM HMI, Radios Ect cloning for dc706 would be convenient.

Any tool that isn’t under NASTF’s thumb is going to be in very high demand in the future.
I think on 2018 and up Fords, to do a parameter reset you need a locksmith ID. If this tool can do that for us, that’s VERY useful.
One thing I didn’t see in the video was an accessory like the XP400 with the IR slot for doing Mercedes and Chrysler fobiks.
I had a discussion with OBDSTAR about this, that are currently working on it.. coming soon 👍🏾

Untill more manufacturers go into server base connection like Stellantis and what Nissan is doing already. You will have to connect to the server one way or the other and it will ask for your VSP. That will be force or the government will ban these tools or make it so expensive to buy.

When it says to reset perimeter does that mean it's resetting the box so you can program a new key like the Toyotas
Parameter reset is a ford system function when a module is replaced. Toyota system is smart box immo reset upto 16 min procedure and this tool should be capable

Hi George, the Autel wasn't kicked because another brand offered me a little money. As a matter of fact no brand has ever offered me money. We have NEVER even received a free product from Obdstar. Every product from Obdstar was purchased with our own funds.
We however have received some free products from other companies for review and we always disclose that at the beginning of the videos and also give an honest review.
The Autel was kicked for different reasons read comments from autel owners in this video to understand why, or read comments on my NASTF videos..
