Love your nails in this video. Would love to see you doing more how to gel nail video's. I know I said this before, but I am a beginner and you make it so easy to learn. Great crystal cluster how to. I am so sorry about all the questions but I am having a hard time shaping my nails. I have never really been good at this step. If you could do a help video showing the best way to do this, it would help so much. Great video BTW. tfs
The trick is using a flexible gel and sealing the edges/seams around the stones. If they are popping right out it means they are not being held in properly and also that the product at the base is too rigid.
I used the Akzentz Bling on and I went around the edges of the stones after I cured them and they still came off. It was with the big pointed back stones in the 3 stone clusters like you did in the video. I also had issues with smaller stones. I even used more gel then you did in the video and they fell out.
It could also be the gel under the stones did not fully cure. Try having the client rock their hand back and forth to ensure the light can get in between the stones. The foil on the back of Swarovskis blocks the UV light so it is important to make sure the gel is actually curing fully.
Thank you, that's exactly what I did. I'm testing on myself before I used them on clients. I did another set of stones last night to test and I lost one this morning. :S. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. So far my other hand has all 3 on so we will see.
I love your nails and I have learnt soooo much from your videos! Thanks for putting your time into doing this. 🙌🏾 do you ship to Ireland (Dublin) and how much does it cost ?
I used to sell them but the Japanese Yen is so expensive now that they cost like $20 for one. If you are still interested and want to order please email me at sales@thenailhub.com
Hm. What I've been doing as of late is using polygel to make those clusters, and then using builder gel to seal the open spaces. It lasts for weeeeks, and will probably pull off my nail before it comes off ._.

It's a tip holder for practicing. we used to sell them but they are extremely hard to get these days. they come from japan. We well other jewel style ones now which we prefer because they come with multiple holders that can be swapped out on the same cute jewel base.
Now I don't have an issue with it sticking. That's fine. It's just days later.... You know the gold piece that's on the back of each stone? Well the stone seems to dislodge from that gold or silvery backing and I don't know what to do to stop that from happening. I have tried everything and I mean everything.
what are you using to adhere them? two things prevent that: 1. use a more flexible gel to adhere the stones, 2. make sure you seal around the edges of the stones to hold them into the cluster from the top. if they are only being held by the bottom one big hit will damage them and pop them out
+The Nail Hub ohhhhhh okay. Now the next question if have for you what would you recommend? I am not licensed and I only do this on myself. Okay.. My mother too because she's my Guinea pig. Lol. But mainly myself. I don't know where to get something that thick without having to go through school.
+Giamoni Cooper that is a whole 'nother question for sure. As a professional nail educator and technician I'm an advocate for pros doing nails because there are a lot of things that at home/DIY nail lovers don't know about doing this level of work. I'm all for people having fun but sometimes when it comes to more advanced things there can be problems that arise. but I'm glad you are interested in learning the proper way to do nails. I would recommend a soak off gel for applying stones. unfortunately the one I use in this video is for pro use only but I would try to find something similar. please just realize that it's best for a licensed/trained professional to do this advanced type of work. I hope u can understand my position on this. I know a lot of people say it's "just nails" but us pro techs see it differently. to us who had to go to school and get licensed it's on par with someone who's not a doctor doing medical services in their house. may sound extreme but that's how it makes us feel.
+The Nail Hub I completely understand. Because I'm not licensed I could mess something up. Just like with filling. I am too scared to file with my electric file. Way too scared. Now as far as the gel goes... I use the IBD builder. Which is a tad bit runny. Could I use that and still cap the sides. Because I have been using just nail glue. But I would make up my own stone sets.
it might not be fully curing. check your bulbs and have your client rotate their hand inside the lamp from side to side to make sure they get light up under and around those crystals. also UV lamps are more of an ambient light in that it glows around and cures much slower. LED lamps are more direct light like little laser beams that really cure the gel from the inside out. try curing a bit longer and again make sure that gel gets exposed to it by rocking the hand
Always learning new stuff with you! Thank you!💖💅

Mine last 2-3 weeks easily on clients when properly applied.
