Nice ranking of the Iron Man suits in my opinion. My personal favorites are the Mark 6, Mark 3, Mark 50, Mark 85, the silver and red suit Iron Man wears against Whiplash in the racing track scene in Iron Man 2 (I forgot what it's called), and the main suit Iron Man wears in Avengers: Age of Ultron (I also forgot what it's called).

Yeah. We see the armor, but it comes out of nowhere. We never see her Even thinking about it in the movie. I loved watching both Tony and Pepper figthing together, but at least show us some scenes of she talking about how she is not happy with Tony about the armor, knowing that he no longer have to do it. And then, at the moment she appears in the armor it can goes like Tony: You told me You didnt like it Pepper: someone have to save your ass Tony: You have always saved My ass
This perfectly sums up my issues with it. Instead of feeling like a powerful character moment it just feels like she gets the suit so she can be around when Tony dies
I think the mk 42 is still my favorite by a long mile. Whenever Tony made a technological improvement, it seemed to just immediately work. We never got to see the quirks of developing a new technology like we did in the first movie. This is not even mentioning how dynamic the suit is. New tech is usually just showcased once, but effectively doesn't do anything. The MK 42 is used in ways that no other suits are. It's genuinely perfect
What’s crazy is if you look at a lot of the suits the mark 7 was a case for a lot of 20 and 30 series sets which really shows how much that suit actually did tech wise. Also if you look closer at the mark 4 and suits like the mark 47 you’ll notice that the only things different are the chest and paint arrangements, you’ll see it with the 43 as well; it’s kinda nice to see the slight improvements without making a whole new suit. Probably saved on production as well.
The only thing i dislike about the mark 85 is the fact that we jump from 50 to 85 and the 14 armors in between never get seen or mentioned, they took so much care to design all the armors between the mark 7 and 42 but it feels like they gave up in endgame, either that or they wanted a cooler number than 51 and didn't think about it, in my opinion the rescue armor should have been it's own separate thing like the war machine armors and then make the mark 50 into the mark 49 and the mark 85 into the mark 50 to give us a nice clean number pf armors with no gaps in between. Oh and very cool video btw
Yeah I completely agree, it seemed like they wanted infinity war to be a cool number so they skipped 49 and went to 50 and then just said rescue was 49 to fill in the gap. And yeah they then wanted endgame to be a new cool number so chose 85. Apparently there aren’t models between 50 and 85 but instead a series of upgrades and improvements. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Mark 1 is technically the most important suit because without it Tony would be dead or still in captivity and won’t even get the idea to make any suits
I’m a sucker for the mark 2 always thought it looked so cool being silver and having the exposed rivets but being the first actual usable suit. Love it
Very great list. Now I personally have a different ranking for sure, but I can definitely stand behind yours and I especially love the research, Great video!
I dont think its underrated, everyone knows its role and it dies its role well, its just that tonys mark 3, hulkbuster, and last nanotech suit are more interesting and feel like massive leaps. It does definitely deserve top 10 or even top 5 though, it feels real, feels practical for his situation, it just does everything right considering its a suit a supergenius made from scraps.
My Top 10 armors probably have to be: 1) Mark 3 2) Mark 85 3) Mark 6 4) Mark 7 5) Mark 43 6) Hulkbuster v1 7) Mark 1 8) Silver Centurion 9) Mark 50 10) Mark 45 My biggest gripe with most Marks 45 & up are the overusage of red, there's never enough gold on the arms and thighs, and it just screws up the look to me. Funnily enough, Disneyland Japan's promo art of the Mark 45 fixes that exact problem, and it looks absolutely phenomenal!
Igor will live forever holding the whole place but talking seriously i would liked that the remaining armours on iron man 3 were repaired and later used on other movies along with the drones
i always assumed the mark 47 was a repaired and slightly upgraded mark 46, yeah it’s still a little lazy of them to not make a new suit design but i think it makes more sense that way
Yeah seems like it, but also a bit odd as all other marks have more significant changes between models rather than just a remake but maybe because he needed it quickly. Thanks for watching

Actually, the Rescue armor was colored based off her dress she wore to the Firefighter Benefit in Iron Man 1. Also, I’m glad that Banner didn’t Hulk out of the Hulkbuster MkII. The directors said it best, that the loss at the end of Infinity War would be too convoluted if Banner had his personal victory in that same moment.
Awesome fact about the dress I didn’t know that, and while I agree with your point about Banner - the resolution happened off screen in between IW and Endgame so it was not satisfying, if the arc was resolved in Endgame I wouldn’t mind but it didn’t so we may as well have seen it in IW
@@CINEMAZE the reason why I don’t have an issue with it, is because the arc for Banner didn’t require showing that. His arc was grieving Natasha and realizing that everything had led to him bringing back the Blipped. Plus, in an already three hour long movie, that story beat would have added an unnecessary 15-20 minutes, in which it would just be Banner testing and finally getting it right. It wouldn’t add anything to the story the Russo’s were trying to tell.
For me, that suit was the best when it came to feeling a realistic, bulky size whilst being form fitting enough to feel futuristic and similar to the comics. It had nice details without loads of excessive details that clutter the design
One of my absolute FAVORITE upgrades that he makes throughout is Speed of deployment. The mk 2,3,and 4 required an assembly line to put on and take off. Whereas the mk 5 was a suitcase, but it still took time to deploy and was super bare bones. The mk 6 still needed an assembly line but was much faster and more efficient. But still not good enough so Tony developed the mk 7. A deployable suit that can fly to him, scan the bracelets and self assemble, but it still wasn't fast enough, with flight achievable after 10 whole seconds. Though we don't see them in detail the mk 8 all the way to the mk 41 can simply fly to tony, open up, and be active in half the time it took the mk 7 (granted the one we see him suit up in iron man 3 is the mk 33 so who am I to say they all have the same suit up time) I won't comment on the mk 42 as it was very similar to the rest, but it could be done in pieces, and we can assume the same about the mk 43. The mk 44 is a special case since it's the biggest suit he has, and it's understandable that it's armor bits can't deploy as fast as the rest. The next significant step was the mk 46 where it was able to deploy inside a helicopter in just 3 seconds. Still not fast enough for Tony and the armor still had a lot of flaws. The mk 50 was a huge step, giving himself a nano tech suit, suiting up in about 3ish seconds, hard to tell with the slight slow mo they had. But given how fast he builds weapons, I can imagine that it's pretty damn fast. Same could be said withthe mk 85, but is probably faster, especially given the fact that in endgame, he jumped off stark tower, equipped the suit and was flying in around a second and a half. Thats fast
Awesome video! Thanks for this, Iron Man is my favourite character. I won’t rank Iron Man 3’s various suits but out of them I do love Starboost, Silver Centurion, Shotgun, Heartbreaker, Hammerhead, Nightclub. I like the MK 49 Rescue too but I prefer the comic red and silver colour scheme. Infinity War’s Hulkbuster is fine too. Main suits: 1. MK 85 2. MK 6 3. MK 3 4. MK 50 5. MK 45 6. MK 7 7. MK 46 8. MK 43 9. MK 42 10. Hulkbuster 11. MK 5 12. MK 4 13. MK 1 14. MK 2 15. MK 47
My personal favourite will always be the mk ll, the silver just makes it look so badass and in my opinion, the control surfaces scene is the coolest ironman has ever looked
When Iron Man 2 came out. I spent years thinking they had skipped the number 4 for some reason because it never registered in my brain that the Mark IV was any different from the Mark III.
My favorite was the Mark V, it was one of Tonys first explorations into suit portability, it may be limited in use, but it’s kinda the foundation for stuff like the Mark 42 and other rapidly deployable suits
I don't remember where I read about it, but Mark 12 looks that way, because it was apparently suppose to be a Prototype for the new War Machine armour, that we see in "Iron Man 3" as Iron Patriot and then in "Age of Ultron" as War Machine. Similar to what Rhodey did with Mark 2 in IM2, they basically took the plans for Mark 12, changed it up to fit the overall aesthetic, and then repainted it to be the Iron Patriot.
I love that the Lego marvel avengers has so many iron man suits and such a cool switch animation when you want a different suit, my favourite suit is either hulkbuster or shotgun
I personally have mk 44 at the top of my list, it feels like it can take on the hulk, it has add-ons we dont see in the movie, and i love how its designed to be able to work with his other suits.
My favorite suits are the two black and gold ones, the suitcase suit, and the nano-tech suits. Each one has reasons. The black and gold ones have my favorite color scheme, the suitcase is a super cool concept and looks super plate-y, with most of the bits and bobs standing out, and the nano-tech having the coolest abilities and, personally, idea. I love the idea of nano-tech.
It would be awesome if they actually brought in the prime suit from the comics and put it into a multiverse cameo and take inspiration from mark 85 armor but have the actual comic accuracy of the nanotech extras
I am so happy with your number 1, I have argued with so many of my friends that say the infinity war suit is better and it’s just not, not a huge fan of that design and the endgame one is just perfect
I love Mark 24 Tank, and Mark 37 Hammerhead! They are two of the first Iron Man suits I ever drew as a kid. Then Mark 35 Red Snapper is just so cool to me, and while they aren't in bottom 10, Mark 31 Piston is another favorite of mine.
Great video but my favorite suit has to be the glove from civil war, it was his most portable "suit" before nanotech and it just felt so cool when he was able to hold his own against a super soldier.
Another thing cinematically that I think makes the Mk. IV the lowest ranking main suit that appears in the films is that it's also the suit Tony uses at the bottom of his barrel, Iron Man III notwithstanding. Taking away his tricks and toys, that was certainly a challenge of identity, but in that film he proved that he is the only one you can call "Iron Man," with or without the suit. He improvises tech, he doesn't lose so much of his sanity or character, and he's constantly doing really well despite the stacked odds. But, in IM2, the Mark IV is the suit he's wearing at the very moment where the audience starts to wonder if Tony Stark is worthy of the mantle "Iron Man." He was drunk, volatile, his worst traits were on display, and his best friend proved to be the bigger man at the end of the scuffle - *and the better pilot in a suit at the time.* (this works well no matter what you think of the idea that Tony was testing Rhodes that night) He was wearing the Mk. IV when he was least deserving of what he had, and so the suit reflects that.
red snapper design is an abosolute beast, it looks like a crab, i actually like the color scheme of disco and mark 37 was shown in the very first in the final battle of iron man 3 where it scanned any extremis people.
I agree with all of these, bar one. Theres just something about how real the first 3 felt that was never matched again. The mk2 goes in number 1 place for me for that reason
1:57 the plates can shift color like a chameleon, but I do agree the color isn’t really good. 3:23 I think that suit was just made to go fast if I’m not mistaken. 4:27 this one uses radar deflecting panels. 5:10 it is pretty cool 6:22 Tony has priorities. 6:49 this is one of my faves. 7:10 same it’s kickass 7:39 it’s just power armor lol 9:01 this is the suit I think Tony would’ve used the most due to the PTSD from avengers, since it’s made for space I feel like he would’ve kept that one in a special spot due to once again his ptsd.
i knew the mark 85 would be number one, it's the perfect culmination of all the trip of the armors, i used to hate the design in the comics because it looked cheesy but somehow they made it look epic in the mcu i love lt and i love the fact is the last one used in endgame
I will always love the Prodigual Son, Shotgun and Silver Centurion because Tony put them into good use for kicking the crap out of the Mandarin and Extremis. They gave us some of the best, if not the best, action scenes in the MCU.
I liked the whiplash suit of the Iron Man 2 villain in their final battle a lot, even though it wasn’t built by Tony but it was scraped from his technology
Honestly I was a huge fan of those zord Morphin figures I had a few of them and they were fun indeed, Hasbro should definitely make some more of those, their basically transformer-like figures and since they already have experienced making transforming figures should be a piece of cake for them.
13:41 I absolutely LOVE this suit because Iron Man 3 is the first Iron Man movie I ever saw and Iron Man 3 was absolutely my favorite because of that exact same reason lol
I loved all the different Iron Man 3 suits. It really makes perfect sense that after New York and the PTSD that Tony suffers from it that he'd go crazy and design so many different suits for so many specific instances because of his paranoia which he eventually overcomes at the end by destroying them all, realizing he never needed them and probably never would. Iron Man 3 is such an underappreciated film that is super significant to Tony's overall character arc and people sadly overlook that fact because they're still upset about the Mandarin issue despite the fact that they fixed it with Shang-Chi
I think the mark 28 is a reference to half life. A suit with a black and orange color scheme used to protect the user from radiation, its literally the iron man version of the HEV suit
I like the nanotech suits, especially the Mk-85, since I've always liked the retrofuturistic look of the early Iron Man comics. Tony was a genius with nearly unlimited resources and time on his hands. It's not inconceivable that he could make a bunch of tiny robots that can stick to his clothes and build themselves into an armor.
Even though it’s not really a suit, I’m curious where you would rank the Iron Man watch gauntlet from Civil War. it felt like a kind of successor to the suitcase armor, which has always been one of my favorites. I also liked the idea that Tony was constantly trying to come up with ways to keep his suits with him at all times.
I think the watch is awesome, it shows even when he’s acting as a civilian for political reasons he’s still got some tricks up his sleeve. As you say it’s the evolution from the suitcase and potentially the first bit of nanotech we see him use which probably helped him build his later nanotech suits
5:56 Honestly, I think the biggest issue with the Mark 9 is that it looks way too much like the Mark 7. Honestly, until you pointed it out in this video, I always thought the suit shooting at Pepper Mark 7 armor since in invalidating, it looks pretty much identical to that suit
While I agree with most of these rankings I just absolutely cannot agree with any nanotech love. Both suits always felt wrong to me because they just seem far too sleek to actually protect against any damage. Still, great video, thanks for the hulk buster appreciation
Thanks for the comment, I think the endgame suit feels stronger and less sleek than the infinity war nanotech. And also I always saw nanotech as slightly weaker but that was the trade off for having nanotech abilities
The first one is still my favorite (the first completed version) My second is without a doubt the suitcase suit (though time deciding between this and the og).
i wish we had a montage like randomly during the movie after he said he builds suits to ease his mind it would be cool for like after he said that it would cut to him in every suit doing what it was designed for and then after it ends pepper would go oh that’s why ur always gone
Personally i will always have a huge soft spot for the mk 45, i just love the design, i think the colors and small details look so good, its the spiritual sucsessor to the mk 7 in ny opinion and it just looks great.
You know maybe this is just me, but I think peppers armor should’ve been labeled 84. That way it could be the suit Tony made just before his Endgame armor. Not only would that explain why they look and behave so similarly, but it would make sense considering Tony’s dialogue in endgame implied the suit he made for pepper was only recently completed. I guess since it’s been around for about five years, that would explain why peppers so much better at using it than she would be if this was her first time piloting it, but still, I just would’ve personally made it. Tony’s second most advanced suit and his last armor ever made.
The mark 85 is cool, but the mark 5 will always be my favorite. The suitcase scene in Iron Man 2 is one of my top 10 favorite scenes in the entire MCU.
"Another stealth suit and it does a Good job at hiding, because i really won't remember this one" 😂
I know most of these suits because as a kid I loved playing the Iron Man 3 mobile game

The reason they made Mark 47 have a huge grey patch is because that's where Steve Rogers destroyed it with the shield

Very great list. Now I personally have a different ranking for sure, but I can definitely stand behind yours and I especially love the research, Great video!
Awesome, thanks for the polite comment and enjoying the video. What’s your favourite suit?
Mark 1 is honestly pretty underrated in my opinion. I just think it looks cool as a starter suit.
i think that mark 43 is the best because it just looks like a new desinge og the mark three
I dont think its underrated, everyone knows its role and it dies its role well, its just that tonys mark 3, hulkbuster, and last nanotech suit are more interesting and feel like massive leaps. It does definitely deserve top 10 or even top 5 though, it feels real, feels practical for his situation, it just does everything right considering its a suit a supergenius made from scraps.
My Top 10 armors probably have to be:
1) Mark 3
2) Mark 85
3) Mark 6
4) Mark 7
5) Mark 43
6) Hulkbuster v1
7) Mark 1
8) Silver Centurion
9) Mark 50
10) Mark 45
My biggest gripe with most Marks 45 & up are the overusage of red, there's never enough gold on the arms and thighs, and it just screws up the look to me. Funnily enough, Disneyland Japan's promo art of the Mark 45 fixes that exact problem, and it looks absolutely phenomenal!
Igor will live forever holding the whole place
but talking seriously i would liked that the remaining armours on iron man 3 were repaired and later used on other movies along with the drones
Agreed it would have been cool to see them have larger roles
@@CINEMAZE like peacemaker from dc

i always assumed the mark 47 was a repaired and slightly upgraded mark 46, yeah it’s still a little lazy of them to not make a new suit design but i think it makes more sense that way
Yeah seems like it, but also a bit odd as all other marks have more significant changes between models rather than just a remake but maybe because he needed it quickly. Thanks for watching
You did a good job pointing out the subtle differences in the suits!!!

Nah man. Mark 39 is best.
awesome video bro. i think the Mk. 2 is top 10 for me… just so sick and so clean. but great job with this vid man 💯
Thanks, appreciate the support and MK2 is pretty awesome
I haven't seen an MCU film that wasn't Guardians of the Galaxy related in like two years but I already know the Civil War suit is the best.
The civil war suit is cool
For me, that suit was the best when it came to feeling a realistic, bulky size whilst being form fitting enough to feel futuristic and similar to the comics. It had nice details without loads of excessive details that clutter the design
This was a crazy ranking video! Good job as always Cinemaze and keep up the good work!
Thanks so much, it was a massive video to make, glad you liked it! Thanks for the support as always
MARK 43 SUPREMACY 🗣🗣🔥🔥
Mark 43 is the goat
One of my absolute FAVORITE upgrades that he makes throughout is Speed of deployment.
The mk 2,3,and 4 required an assembly line to put on and take off. Whereas the mk 5 was a suitcase, but it still took time to deploy and was super bare bones.
The mk 6 still needed an assembly line but was much faster and more efficient. But still not good enough so Tony developed the mk 7. A deployable suit that can fly to him, scan the bracelets and self assemble, but it still wasn't fast enough, with flight achievable after 10 whole seconds.
Though we don't see them in detail the mk 8 all the way to the mk 41 can simply fly to tony, open up, and be active in half the time it took the mk 7 (granted the one we see him suit up in iron man 3 is the mk 33 so who am I to say they all have the same suit up time)
I won't comment on the mk 42 as it was very similar to the rest, but it could be done in pieces, and we can assume the same about the mk 43.
Thats fast
Yeah it’s so awesome, it makes it feel like he earns every upgrade and improvements, compared with Black Panther who goes straight to nanotech
18:55 They know we want both nano tech and mechanical design so they left the mask open to close it :)))
Main suits:
1. MK 85
2. MK 6
3. MK 3
4. MK 50
5. MK 45
6. MK 7
7. MK 46
8. MK 43
9. MK 42
10. Hulkbuster
11. MK 5
12. MK 4
13. MK 1
14. MK 2
15. MK 47
Thanks for watching as always! Great list, honestly most of the suits are pretty great and it was hard to rank as they are all cool
@@CINEMAZE yeah they’re all cool.
my fav suit is the mark 2 with the sleek design and the colour and the sounds and the flap test wich was so cool!
absolutely deserved the number one spot. Reminds me of the time i was excited everytime a new MCU movie was coming up
Personally my favorite Ironman armor from the MCU is the Mark 6, i don’t even need to say why
Nothing will beat Mk2 and Mk5. The introduction, the suit up everything looks good
This was pretty good. I wouldn’t mind seeing something like this for live action dc speedsters

@@CINEMAZE yea suit or villains would also be cool
My personal favourite will always be the mk ll, the silver just makes it look so badass and in my opinion, the control surfaces scene is the coolest ironman has ever looked
When Iron Man 2 came out. I spent years thinking they had skipped the number 4 for some reason because it never registered in my brain that the Mark IV was any different from the Mark III.
When I was a kid, the Mark VI was always my favorite, i don't know why exactly, but the design is just peak imo.
My favourite will always be the mark 3, seeing the suit as a kid was something else
I always liked the mk2 more I think the silver look is awesome
It could be debated which one is the Best. But we all know the Mark 39 is the sexiest. haha
My favorite was the Mark V, it was one of Tonys first explorations into suit portability, it may be limited in use, but it’s kinda the foundation for stuff like the Mark 42 and other rapidly deployable suits
For sure, it’s awesome and I love the progression of his technology over time
I don't remember where I read about it, but Mark 12 looks that way, because it was apparently suppose to be a Prototype for the new War Machine armour, that we see in "Iron Man 3" as Iron Patriot and then in "Age of Ultron" as War Machine.
Similar to what Rhodey did with Mark 2 in IM2, they basically took the plans for Mark 12, changed it up to fit the overall aesthetic, and then repainted it to be the Iron Patriot.
Makes sense
I love that the Lego marvel avengers has so many iron man suits and such a cool switch animation when you want a different suit, my favourite suit is either hulkbuster or shotgun
The mark 2 is actually my number 1. It has the look of the mark 3, which is my favorite design, and the color scheme is just so cold, I love it
I personally have mk 44 at the top of my list, it feels like it can take on the hulk, it has add-ons we dont see in the movie, and i love how its designed to be able to work with his other suits.
I like Infinity War's armor because it remindes of the Prime Armor in the comics, I was so excited to see it to the cinema
Nanotech suits felt like early 2000's CGI.
The cgi isn’t great but not early 2000s, we’ve seen way worse in recent MCU stuff
-What comes after 50?
-51.
-Then why did you write 85?
Because it is called the Mark 85. We just don’t see the versions of the suit between 51-84
Justice for the Mark 43! But still happy with the Mark 7.
Awesome I agree
It would be awesome if they actually brought in the prime suit from the comics and put it into a multiverse cameo and take inspiration from mark 85 armor but have the actual comic accuracy of the nanotech extras
Mark 6, 40 and Starboost gotta be my favorites
I am so happy with your number 1, I have argued with so many of my friends that say the infinity war suit is better and it’s just not, not a huge fan of that design and the endgame one is just perfect
Agreed!
You managed to actually put like all my favorite suit designs on the bottom 10......idk how to feel about this
Sorry, which is your favourite?
I love Mark 24 Tank, and Mark 37 Hammerhead! They are two of the first Iron Man suits I ever drew as a kid. Then Mark 35 Red Snapper is just so cool to me, and while they aren't in bottom 10, Mark 31 Piston is another favorite of mine.
the mark 46 is my fav suit, it's a perfect blend of the mark 3 type suits and the streamlined nano tech suits
Great video but my favorite suit has to be the glove from civil war, it was his most portable "suit" before nanotech and it just felt so cool when he was able to hold his own against a super soldier.
Agreed, I love that moment but it’s not a suit on its own so I didn’t include it in the list
But, in IM2, the Mark IV is the suit he's wearing at the very moment where the audience starts to wonder if Tony Stark is worthy of the mantle "Iron Man." He was drunk, volatile, his worst traits were on display, and his best friend proved to be the bigger man at the end of the scuffle - *and the better pilot in a suit at the time.* (this works well no matter what you think of the idea that Tony was testing Rhodes that night)
He was wearing the Mk. IV when he was least deserving of what he had, and so the suit reflects that.
Great analysis
The hammerhead will always be in my heart
red snapper design is an abosolute beast, it looks like a crab, i actually like the color scheme of disco and mark 37 was shown in the very first in the final battle of iron man 3 where it scanned any extremis people.
5:10 it is pretty cool
6:22 Tony has priorities.
6:49 this is one of my faves.
7:10 same it’s kickass
7:39 it’s just power armor lol
9:01 this is the suit I think Tony would’ve used the most due to the PTSD from avengers, since it’s made for space I feel like he would’ve kept that one in a special spot due to once again his ptsd.
I love the Mark 6 and if you put Silver instead of gold, it would look AWSOME.
Avengers: Infinity War Fav MCU movie
I would put mk46 at first as its has all the traditional + modern features but its not nanotech
i knew the mark 85 would be number one, it's the perfect culmination of all the trip of the armors, i used to hate the design in the comics because it looked cheesy but somehow they made it look epic in the mcu i love lt and i love the fact is the last one used in endgame
Agreed, same with the scales on caps suit
@@CINEMAZE i love to debate to a Fellow fan and think the same
I will always love the Prodigual Son, Shotgun and Silver Centurion because Tony put them into good use for kicking the crap out of the Mandarin and Extremis.
Huh
13:41 I absolutely LOVE this suit because Iron Man 3 is the first Iron Man movie I ever saw and Iron Man 3 was absolutely my favorite because of that exact same reason lol
Would have been so cool if they made a Disney plus show about how Tony created the suits and how he used them.
Could be interesting, I’d love to see shorts showing their uses
Most of these picks are baffling to me, but I do love a video showcasing all these wonderful designs

Personally my favorite suit is MK45
I loved all the different Iron Man 3 suits. It really makes perfect sense that after New York and the PTSD that Tony suffers from it that he'd go crazy and design so many different suits for so many specific instances because of his paranoia which he eventually overcomes at the end by destroying them all, realizing he never needed them and probably never would. Iron Man 3 is such an underappreciated film that is super significant to Tony's overall character arc and people sadly overlook that fact because they're still upset about the Mandarin issue despite the fact that they fixed it with Shang-Chi
I 100% agree, I think the PTSD was a really interesting direction to take Tony and it defines his character all the way up to Endgame
Love all the mini arc reactors on the MK 46 that’s my favorite non nano tech suit
I've always wanted the Iron Monger suit. The bulky and huge figure just looks cool to me.
Oh, who am I kidding, I STILL want it.
Don't blame you tbh that suit just like the mk1 and hulkbuster was 🔥🔥🔥
I think the mark 28 is a reference to half life. A suit with a black and orange color scheme used to protect the user from radiation, its literally the iron man version of the HEV suit
Oh yeah, I can see the resemblance
Considering how many building are destroyed because of the avengers it makes sense why there are so many construction and rescue suits
Great point
You’re telling me that iron man blew up a billion dollar suit that saves people from natural disasters bc he felt like it????
I like the nanotech suits, especially the Mk-85, since I've always liked the retrofuturistic look of the early Iron Man comics.
Tony was a genius with nearly unlimited resources and time on his hands. It's not inconceivable that he could make a bunch of tiny robots that can stick to his clothes and build themselves into an armor.
Agreed, lots of criticisms towards nanotech in the comments but I think Stark earned it with his genius and slowly improving technology over the films
Got a soft spot for Mark 32. Romeo is a cute name for it's big arc reactor, sad we couldn't the laser.
So true
The first one is still my favorite (the first completed version)
My second is without a doubt the suitcase suit (though time deciding between this and the og).
Awesome.
i wish we had a montage like randomly during the movie after he said he builds suits to ease his mind it would be cool for like after he said that it would cut to him in every suit doing what it was designed for and then after it ends pepper would go oh that’s why ur always gone
Agreed
One fact about me is that i like to be noticed and you already i love the hulk buster suit.
Personally i will always have a huge soft spot for the mk 45, i just love the design, i think the colors and small details look so good, its the spiritual sucsessor to the mk 7 in ny opinion and it just looks great.
Why is it the successor to mk7?
My favorite is easily the Mark V (Iron Man 2 suitcase silver and red armor). I love that thing while every other armor is either just cool or meh.
Mk V has always been one of my favorites
You know maybe this is just me, but I think peppers armor should’ve been labeled 84. That way it could be the suit Tony made just before his Endgame armor. Not only would that explain why they look and behave so similarly, but it would make sense considering Tony’s dialogue in endgame implied the suit he made for pepper was only recently completed.
I guess since it’s been around for about five years, that would explain why peppers so much better at using it than she would be if this was her first time piloting it, but still, I just would’ve personally made it. Tony’s second most advanced suit and his last armor ever made.
Agreed, I think they just named it 49 because there was a gap in the numbers. It makes no sense for Pepper’s to be 49
Great video and interesting list! My favourite iron man suit will always be the one in the Avengers Age of Ultron or in Iron Man 3!
Thanks for watching! Wow how comes you like the age of ultron suit so much?
@@CINEMAZE I don’t know because it’s bloody awesome looking!🤷🏿♂️😂

The mark 85 is cool, but the mark 5 will always be my favorite. The suitcase scene in Iron Man 2 is one of my top 10 favorite scenes in the entire MCU.
The suitcase scene is so good
The reason why 27 is called the Stealth Suit is because it can color change
That's why it's one of my personal favorites
I know but we don’t see it do this and it doesn’t look great in its normal colours
The Mark V continues to by my absolute favorite. ❤
