She puts in a lot of work and effort in her content, but the genius is she makes it look so genuine and effortless that we are just drawn in and laugh with her. My step-daughter used to call her mother “birth giver”. For context, the mother abandoned the family when my step-daughter was 15 to “live her own life”. My stepdaughter was the eldest of 3, and was recovering from a major surgery that almost killed her. She was out of school for 4 months. Her younger brother is special needs and requires 24-hour care. The relationship has gotten a little better over the years, thankfully-for the sake of my stepdaughter. I will have to think of something cute to call my husband

I lucked out, we broke into song in the school hallways on several occasions. Mostly because it was a school rule that if you heard the school song, you had to stop in place, and sing along. More than once a student would announce the school song, and start singing, so the entire student body had to stop and sing along, right before the bell rang. Also, our music teacher hated musicals because singing instead of talking is unrealistic, and a bunch of students coordinated a musical day to prove a point. Best day ever.

I lucked out, we broke into song in the school hallways on several occasions. Mostly because it was a school rule that if you heard the school song, you had to stop in place, and sing along.
More than once a student would announce the school song, and start singing, so the entire student body had to stop and sing along, right before the bell rang.
Also, our music teacher hated musicals because singing instead of talking is unrealistic, and a bunch of students coordinated a musical day to prove a point. Best day ever.
