61306 "Mayflower" Steams Down the Slow Line | 29.08.23

B1 61306 "Mayflower" stood in for 70000 "Britannia", after last weeks failure, on the final Sunset Steam Express of the year. Unusually the trip ran via Wimbledon and the SWML to Woking instead of the usual route via Staines. The tour then continued along the usual route around the Surrey hills and back to London.
We catch Mayflower as she steams through Weybridge station after catching up behind a stopping service train.
