The elderly lady at Selling feels so at home seeing the train and engine driver sound the whistle. Her wave was moving to watch. Imagine 70 years ago and seeing her as a young lady doing the same wave to the steam trains of the day. Wonderful.

Such excellent shots (esp Sandling Tunnel) but nothing compares with the old lady at Selling edging forward on to the yellow line to try and see round the typically oblivious photter determined to get his photo but what a reward when her wave was replied to with a toot on 70000's whistle! Priceless

That's Saltwood Tunnel, but agree that's a nice shot. The lens making the tunnel look shorter than it's 954 yards.
