The front lower part of the bumper on the 2019+'s stick's in more, so i had to dremel some of the plastic, but looks stock still. i posted the photo's on the jeep KL facebook page.

So if I understand correctly it's not rub on the plastic fender but on the control arm or part of the frame maybe? I haven't put on any spacers yet but mine does rub at full lock a little in that location. I actually had figured that If I put on spacers it would stop that. Thanks! I'm lovin it
I got the 255 70r17 to fit no rub all stock
Nice. Great to not have to trim anything back.
Huh,I've got a 2016 Cherokee sport, and bought some 235x 75,-17. They hit the strut, where the coil spring base is. They are too tall. Thought about grinding off the part that is outside of the spring, but seems like a bad idea.
Reprogram speedo?
No. I just got used to the speed difference
How tall is this tire unloaded?
It is just under 32.
@@MootsKLAdventure thanks. And are these P-rated? Or the LT-rated ones
You bet. They are the P rated.
I'm a owner of two xj and I love em both... In my opinion the "cherokee" made from 2014 and up and nothing but a fiat. But you're looks pretty cool nonetheless. great video 👍
The xj's are great thats for sure. I've always liked them.
@@MootsKLAdventure did you ever own one ?
@@andyclemente4205 no I've had a few buddies that have. Always wanted to get one but never pulled the trigger. Wish I would have.
@@MootsKLAdventure got . It'd be cool if you had an xj and kL.. if you were to buy one make sure it has no rust. That's the biggest enemy and what kills the xj for the most part.
@@andyclemente4205 yeah I've considered it. Maybe something down the road a year or two.
have you done any cutting for your front wheel well to keep from your tire's rubbing?
Yeah I cut back the pinch weld. If you check this videos description the link to that video is in it. I'm working on fixing the rub on the fender liner and should have a video up on how I fixed that soon.
Transmission not died yet?
Nope. Still going strong
Go Chiefs!
This guy is more worry about being on the video than showing the truck
This project Jeep has to be one of the biggest wastes of money. It is unique, but there are WAY better options. Heck, I'd take a Subaru over this mess.
Well for me I really like the look, how it drives and the interior. After that the project part is just good fun. I'm not really a Subaru guy. Mainly don't like CVT's. Not really a 4runner guy. I've heard they lack acceleration. I don't like the seating in the Tacoma's. Really the only thing I'd consider replacing my Cherokee with is the new Branco. But I'd rather stick with my Cherokee. Plus my kids love it and we enjoy messing with it together. So waste of money? I'd have to disagree. The fun we have had with it as a family makes it anything but a waste of money.
Why come to a jeep video just to talk about a Subaru?
The drive train is trash atleast with the suby you have gearing options and a ton more aftermarket support
@@777javon I came to the video because I was seriously interested in it. We were looking at getting a new Cherokee for my wife. At the end of the day, there are a ton of better options. If you can't see that, you are blind.
I am a TRUE Jeep guy. I have owned real Cherokees. I have built real Cherokees. Not this 2 inch "lift" junk. I've built XJs with serious suspension.
