Lucy is such a great eater! She ALWAYS eats her veggies, which most kids can’t say. I’m so proud of Nate! He is doing great. My daughter is extra sensitive to food textures so I’m like you and get excited when she eats the things I don’t expect her too.

Also thanks for showing that you cut up their food alot.. I've found that when I've done that for my grandson. He will eat it so much better cut than whole. ? Idk why that is But It Works!! Thank you Ms Jessica♥️

I totally empathize with you on the picky kid lunch difficulties. My stepson is super picky but is getting better. I usually give him a small taste of something new on his plate plus a bunch of his usual favourites and it’s helped him try so many new things! I’d love to see a ‘get to know Nate’ video if you haven’t done that already, I am a new special education teacher and have an autistic brother who wasn’t diagnosed until he was around 14- it would just be really interesting for me 😊

your kids did really well on their lunches. My kids don't eat their treat until all the other stuff is eaten anyways and whatever they don't eat from their lunch but either eat after school or it gets put in their lunch for tomorrow depending on the items my kids used to eat yogurt in cups but I don't like them anymore they're more messy more work so they only like yogurt tubes at school and I don't mind paying the little bit more as I'll get them on sale but they only eat them at school unless they're close to date I will throw them in the freezer and then they can have them frozen yogurt tubes at home.
That's great! My kids hate the yogurt tubes, but I know most kids love them!

No it doesn’t leak and it stays cold until lunch. His lunchbox has a mesh pocket on the outside that it slides into.

@@BlessedJess - even if you were to put a paper towel on the top and bottom? I've seen how much he enjoys pizza, it hurts my heart a bit when I see he wouldn't eat it because it was too cold. I can't imagine what it feels like to want it but not be able to eat it because my brain says it's not right.
Yeah we’ve tried all sort of ways and it’s always soggy in the thermos. He’s super picky. We make sure he gets his pizza at dinner. 😊

Do they offer hot lunchs for Nate so he can have more hot options? I know how picky they can be.. my 14 year old is picky also..
They do, but Nate is so particular that he never wants what they have. :)
My son is that way.. He is better as he has gotten older. I know the struggle is real..
Why don’t you put the pizza in the thermos & see if he eats it that way. At least if it’s in the thermos it’s warm for him. I feel ya on being sick. I have cold sore, canister sore & swollen glands plus I’m 12 weeks pregnant. Feel better soon again.

I will be honest, I do the same thing Nate does. I get on a "kick" of eating certain things and stay that way for a week or so. If it's not broke, why fix it. ;)
