That's awesome! They are just sweet bell peppers. She likes both the regular and the mini kind. You can get them at Aldi or any grocery store! :)

Jess, I have a 15 and 17 year old. When they were younger, they both preferred the same two or three lunches. Most kids are the same way. I'm grateful now they prepare their own lunches.
I feel bad sometimes, but when I think back, I took the same exact lunch to school most days as a kid! :)

My daughter is a junior in high school this year, and she usually eats at school. But once or twice every couple weeks she will have me pack her lunch. I usually make her a baloney sandwich and she takes a pack of chips (like cheetos or funyons).
My favorite thing to take to work for my lunch is a sandwich of pepperoni, swiss cheese, and mayo on kroger brand Hawaiian bread. I love the mix of the little bit sweet bread with little bit spicy pepperoni. It's sooo good! And my very favorite chips right now is kroger brand fritos. They are soooo good!
I love anything on Hawaiian bread...soooo yummy!
Mama's have been watering down apple juice ever since there was apple juice to water down. 😂
Haha. I always gave them half juice and half water to cut down on sugar. :)
Hope Nate feels better ❤️ Honestly I have an 8 year old who is super picky so he just eats mostly the same kind of things throughout the week as well. Like you I do different things different days, but basically the same kind of things. If I didn’t do that he wouldn’t eat at all. We gotta do what works for the kiddos! Love your videos ❤️

Have you tried putting a paper towel underneath the quesadilla to absorb some moisture and keep it crispy? I do that for my own lunches.

My son has been poorly with a sore throat and a cold so been trying to give him food he likes he had his favourite pasta
He has found a new favourite having things wrapped up in wraps like chicken (he wouldn't even touch it before)
And on Tuesday he tried to eat a chicken nugget he didn't like it but at least he tried it

Oh my gosh, a moon pie. I tried them for the first time when I went to WV a few weeks ago and I hated it, I was so disappointed! I have a moon pie shirt, so I really wanted to like it. 😂

Hello Jess. I recently started watching your lunch videos. I bought my son who's in Pre k this year a bentgo kids lunch box. The lunch box I bought to send it in does not have enough room for the bentgo box and a thermos for his drink. What kind of lunch box do you send your kids in?
Pottery Barn kids. I had the same problem with Lucy's lunch box.

Have you tried to do the quesadilla in the air fryer? Or the oven? That might make the tortilla crispier. Or try drying out the tortillas in the oven a little before you make the quesadilla ... Just a thought!

lunches are so hard in my house. its hot here in australia and my SPD son wont eat anything cold (unless its at home lol) so sandwiches end up being just butter. he takes the same thing to school every day and EATS it which is a huge win from preschool where he ate absolutely nothing the whole year he went.
dinner is easy because he likes meat and vegetables or salad, wont eat pasta rice or casserole type meals though.
That is a huge win!

I do the same 5 lunches. I'm trying to find a thermos that will keep his drinks cold. Trying to get away from sending juice boxes. Do the ones you use keep the liquids really cold?
They do a great job. The metal ones keep them cold the best! If I put ice in them, there is still ice when they get home. :)
Have you had to buy replacement straws because they have chewed on them? Do they sweat?
Lisa Delawder I’m sure you can get replacements on Amazon. The do sweat
Nate chews on his, so I look for hard spouts. Those last a lot longer. Lucy doesn't chew on them, but I have seen replacement straws at Target and Amazon. My thermoses don't sweat.

I still will use it, but the YumBox has a bigger "main course" opening and it has been working better for him lately. :)

How long and at what temp do you do your chicken nuggets at in the air fryer?? I buy the same ones from Aldis and I can’t figure it out in the air fryer
I don't really have a set time. I throw them in about 375 and just check often. It's less than 10 min. Sometimes I crank them up to 400 for the last couple of minutes.
I know Nate loves his turkey burgers...I wonder how it would work for a lunch, wrapped in foil or something?
He is SO picky about those things and they have to be done a certain way. I'm scared to try! :)
