And it's not over yet ! Just amazing to watch him charging like an animal at that age. It's a little sad that the mainstream world doesn't stop to recognize this in a big way. I mean, who in the hell does that ? There's absolutely no friggin' body in the whole wide world in any sport or activity who displays such a remarkable physical condition or we'd have to be talking about Green Berets or so..
Tony Hawk calling "Last Video Part!" is kinda like that skater friend who always says "last try I swear!". Like yeah, OK Tony. See you again in 5 years. He's like the Hayao Miyazaki of skateboarding in terms of number of times "retired". Amazing part Tony! You're a legend man.
" Last time i swear " 😂😂😂 So true !! Can't remember how much i said or heard that one back in the days. And if it was a bad day, it would end with a loud cracking sound... someone lost all focus and payed a price.....lol.
Honestly, I get it it doesn’t seem to be for gimmicks sake he’s got more than enough money and notoriety to not do the long kiss good bye thing, I think it’s more likely he keeps expecting his body will give out and then realizes “shit I still got it” that and I imagine he wants to spend more time with his family, at least that was the reason when he was a little younger.
all I wanted was for Hawk to marry my sister & become my Bro-in-law, since ‘89. seeing McGill, Mountain, Mullen & Cab pulling those 42 year old tricks with their 50+ year old bodies is pure inspiration. the ‘80s-‘90s Bones Brigade is still a sacred assembly to me & will always be. they were my Beatles, as a pre-teen, while dudes like Staab & Ellis were the Stones. I loved it all and I still have the mags, posters & thrashed Powell Peralta completes at my folks’ house. I’d run inside during a house fire to retrieve it all.

@@crolodon8024 seriously this guy is amazing I can't imagine competing against him in his prime, you just knew he was going to do something incredible
Grew up watching Tony. I know there's 2 entire generations in the comments that can say the same. He inspired all of us to be a little more punk rock and a little less stiff in the knees.
@Wooargh so the guy who single-handedly saved skateboarding in the 90s from going the way of inline by creating the single most important moment in extreme sports history with the 900 at X-Games then releasing a video game that got an entire generation skating and going on a tour that brought the sport(and others) to ppl in person for the first time ever is less important than someone who won SOTY 1 more time than Tony did....... Tyshawn is a great skater but he has a LONG way to go to match either Tony or Rodney Mullen's impact, and at this point I don't think it's possible for anyone to match what either one of them did. 1 saved skating and the other invented nearly every trick done that makes up the fundamentals of street skating, Tyshawn won a couple SOTYs.
Honestly his skating is still incredible despite the fact he has been holding back for years because of injuries and his age. Tony has done so much for skateboarding, it’s great we still have this legend around and in good health. Enjoy retirement, you earned it all.
There were many others who left their mark in the history of skateboarding. But not many come close to the significance of tony hawk. As a sport, skateboarding today is what it is because of this man and this man only. The popularity he gave to skateboarding is unmatched. It would be nowhere near without him. He is an inspiration and a true legend. Thank you.
Tony Hawk will be a legend forever. Never will anyone surpass his lasting ability, dedication, and sheer hard work in skating. Sadly kids will never know the feeling of working hard to learn and perform an amazing skating trick because it’s nearly impossible to kick flip grind a PlayStation console.
I am 50 years old and Tony Hawk was always on my side and still he is .... doing these banger tricks ... I like these old school new school combos most in this video
Regardless of what anyone says, The Bones Brigade always have and will continue to be heroes. They probably saved a million kids back in the day by inspiring us to get together and get out there and rip! They saved my life for sure, and for that, I will always be grateful!
Adrenaline athletes from the 90’s were just built different. Tony and Travis are legends and gods amongst men. I could watch Tony skate vert on loop for hours
So rad to see Tony kill'n lip tricks! Really amazes me of those of us over 50 and still skate'n weekly. That we can still skate this hard! Along with learning new tricks! I'm finally landing some kick flips and on lock with backside ollies on ramps!!
Tony, my daughter is such a big fan of yours, and she is trying to do a skateboarding, and she loves it, and she said she finally found her purpose in life. Thank you
Hopefully gets good at it. I've always wanted to skate but at the same time kind of feared it and stuck to the games instead. Plus I never owned a legitimate skateboard. Just a cheap one from Wal-Mart which was impossible to stand on.
Thank you, Tony. If I hadn't had your game on PS1 as a child, I would never have started skateboarding, and I wouldn't have found this lifelong source of happiness.
The Legend still has it! Tony *is* the godfather of skateboarding, it's been a treat to grow up with such an inspirational guy like him around. Keep on pushing Tony!

Legend. Watched this smiling as my son sleeps with his birdhouse tech decks under his bed after discovering his love of skateboarding recently. Thank you for everything Tony!
Even though I’m not a skateboarder, I’ve always enjoyed watching Tony, he wasp creative with his tricks, every once in a while I will watch the video where he did the first 900 in the 1999 X-Games. Thank you Tony for everything you’ve done for Skateboarding.
