Suzuki showed everybody how it's done. Kawasaki ruled the top speed world unchallenged for years with their ZX11. Honda tried to take the crown in 1997 with the CBR1100XX, but they didn't really understand how "The Game" was played. The magazine test said the the XX was 1 mph faster, so Honda took that as a win. I love my GSXR and I love my Busa, but the TL holds its own in looks for sure!!!! Thank you suzuki for the hayabusa and 25 years, I purchased a 1993 FZR 1000 new in 1993, it held up for two years, purchased a new 1995 gsxr 1100, cosworth pistons yoshi cams, etc. Then a 2002 hayabusa after I rode a 1999 the same year and was blown away. I couldn't take it , so my 02 got JE pistons, yoshi cams, etc, 2002 DRZ E model, a new GSXR 1000 2005. I love suzuki bikes, but I ride a 2014 ZX14R now more power from the factory, I want a turbo hayabusa or supercharged from the factory with 220 hp, but you can flash and get 250 or more. I'm hoping Kawasaki will design a similar bike with what I'm asking, I perfer a suzuki because it's easy to work on, but if suzuki will not give us what the die hard guys want O well it's cool. I might just haft to turbo my 14R or buy a H2 or H2 SX, it seems suzuki is fine with just selling the hayabusa name these days. But I'm still proud of you guys.

It's unfortunate it takes a arm and a leg to make the hayabusa fast. It takes a big motor or a 600hp turbo to make it fast. Stock it will not compete with the zx14. Power, comfort and balance. The zx14 out does the hayabusa. Not to mention cost difference. Only thing the hayabusa is better at is the updated electronics. That's about it.
Exactly, I own 2022 ZX14R and 2022 Busa, Both with Moore Mafia flash but you can't make up for the extra 100 cc more the ZX14R has. You can tell the difference in 1st gear. I love both equally though.

Hey Hey watch it Jack on those TL1000R comments, owning a TLR since 2007 and knowing I will NEVER part with it…. I LOVE my TL!!!
I love my GSXR and I love my Busa, but the TL holds its own in looks for sure!!!!
And speaking of how versatile the Busa is, a friend (Rest in Peace Thomas “Scar” White) put over 258,000 on his Gen 2 Hayabusa. Motor was never apart, just normal maintenance and lots and lots of oil changes and tires!
Thomas had four Gen 2’s but the one he put over TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND MILES on was his fav! Again, we miss you Scar!

What you pick hope you picked busa the torque is so satisfying
Price wise makes more sense to get a used gen 2 or used zx14r. Looks nice in that color scheme same as my 08. I cant justify paying 20k for busa but some people can, but as stated in there video inflation is to blame.
