Absolute privilege to be on here with Michael, what an amazing guy he is and his knowledge and riding skills are incredible. I wouldn't trust anyone else to ride my bike on track like I do him. And loved his honesty and appreciation of the bike. Thank u so much for the opportunity, love your channel keep up the good work. And thank u for a great day 👍👍👍

That Busa is so dreamy and Anthony's vids are tremendous! It'll take some time, but my first gen Busa is definitely gonna be built for cornering. The handling characteristics of the first gen reminds me quite a bit of the 04 Daytona 955i I had. Not ultra nimble by a long shot, but still fun to lean. And it has a couple more ponies. Great vid gents!
Years ago I had a 2002 busa that I set up for track days. It was one of the most fun bikes I've ever rode of the track, it fit how I rode back then, really miss that bike. I worked almost everything on that bike. engine had a +4mm piston kit, cams, billet bits throughout, suspension was done, geometry was changed to make it corner better. It was tuned, and had a quick shifter... used to get a lot of question when pulling up to the track from people that never seen it before. it was also my street bike so I had to do all the changes with a purpose and forethought. Still deeply thinking about getting a Gen 3 and setting it up like that bike was.... loved the video, thank you.... really brought the memories of that bike back in my head.
Indeed this is a credit to Anthony in the way it is presented and tastefully modified, wow this just reels other bikes in on the straight, amazing to see. Thanks Neevesy this is on another level.
At one point I had an 07 1098s Ducati, 08 Honda Fireblade and a 2010 Hayabusa. The Ducati broke a shift spring in the transmission at 1500km which was repaired under warranty finally… then spun the main bearings at 13500km causing a 9k bill. The Honda had a crank issue (primary drive hardness) and grenaded the trans at 24500k resulting in a 5k bill which Honda refused to acknowledge and the Busa did 89,000k before I sold it without fault even though it had a full Akra and power commander quickshifter from day one.😅

I can really see the temptation in doing these mods. Years back I moved from a GSXR1000 K7 to a ZZR1400, which I modified with different dog bones to increase ride height after my first track day with it. I also used a high profile rear tyre to increase the turn-in and improve the handling massively. Sadly, after about 18 months I let it go because it was just too quick for road use.
Well done, Mr. Cooper! 👍👏 Not only how immaculate the bike is but also how clean your leathers are speaks volumes! MASSIVE love and respect!!! Continue to enjoy your exceptional beauty for years to come. You've definitely earned it. 🤘❤

Absolutely inspirational work from Anthony, that Gen2 is fantastic. I've got a Gen1 that I use for track days in Perth, Western Australia and a friend in Queensland runs his Gen2 on the track.....Everything you guys said I absolutely agree with, thanks mate for showing us the busa's potential!
What an amazing bike and what a good rider! The Busa is one of those bikes I always thought of buying, but I never did. Maybe a subconscious self preservation instinct... :)
I love seeing these types of videos where owners can share how they're leveraged the "platform" manufacturers sell to make the bike fit for purpose for them. Off the showroom floor these bikes really are starting points so if we really like something, it's great to know some (not all) of the bits we may not love can be addressed via modification.

I’m glad you said something about the plane. Your mic is fantastic. I was listening to this as background noise while I go to sleep.
