    I bought a first gen Hayabusa the first year they came out. Over the years I have owned 6, my most recent a gen 3 (2023, all black) that I have put 3,000 miles on. The gen 3 is by far the most competent of them all.

      I wasn't going to reply regarding work, but decided I would. It's not so much 'what I do' as the fact I am able to do copious amounts of overtime. Coupled in with the fact I do not drink or smoke and it has afforded me the most fabulous life. Cars and bikes are what I spend my money on, little else.@@voyagerdecoded

    I'm confused, Is this 25th anniversary edition bike's colour Red or Blaze orange because in some videos it looks like it's red & in some it's orange. Exactly which colour is it ?

    • @PeterLoweOne
      @PeterLoweOne  10 місяців тому +1

      It's orange, but for some reason, my camera has a tough time accurately reproducing the colour. I have the same issue when I film KTM bikes. The orange isn't accurate.

    If it was between the H2, Ninja ZX-14R and a Busa, I’d probably go with the Busa, mainly due to its ability to tour and the large 3rd party market. Kawasaki is doing some nice things but there’s something to be said for a bike that’s been around for 25 years and is still supported by 3rd parties. Suzuki seems to have a few bikes like that.

      So I thought about that, but what would you want them to do? It's not like this is a mid-range bike for them where they can dig into their parts bin and put a higher end component on it from a more sporty bike. As legendary as the Hayabusa is, it's still not a high volume bike as far as sales numbers, so you can't add so much that you price it too high to sell. Maclean's Sports sells a LOT of bikes but even they still have a 2023 model next to it in the showroom. So I think it's a tough thing to do. We can all say what we'd like this thing to be, but unless we're willing to part with our money for it, I kind of understand why Suzuki did what they've done.
