Here is the problem I have with MPC guys on UA-cam all you care about is boom bap the Beats do not reflect the emotional landscape of the human being this is why people are turned off to music because MPC guys do not cover the whole spectrum of emotion in their drums I have yet to see any NPC guys do any slow jams or jazz or smooth jazz or even Rock sometimes you might see some reggaeton but that's about it you guys have to open up your pallet of patterns and try to go for other emotions other than boom bap
We as boombap beatmakers we love making boombap with kicks, snares and hihats. Thats our pallet for creating those beats. If i want to make something else i would get another pallet but thats not my case because i love to make boombap. 🫡
A drum machine is not an integral part of ANY of the genres you just mentioned. So... what you're saying is like complaining that guitarists don't make videos of themselves creating techno or house music.... How often do you go to a jazz or rock show and see anybody using ANY form of drum machine or sampler? There's no significant overlap between that instrument and those genres. Neverthless, the closest you're probably gonna find to what you're looking for is along the lines of a dude named Dreadward Bernays... check out his youtube page.
