I remember absolutely loving this burrito. They've never successfully topped it. I like the Cheesy Gordita Crunch, but this burrito was special.

As a kid in 1995, this is what introduced me to Taco Bell. This was the first burrito from there I remember eating and I miss it.

Taco Bell needs to do more movie Promotions like this one and bring back the peal the game stickers off the cup to win a prize like they were doing along time ago it would generate more business and help promote movies better than what we have now
i still remember when Taco Bell had the Star Wars Episode 1 game because Pepsi signed that lucrative deal with Star Wars

That’s the stuff that made the 90s awesome and it made it even more awesome to go to Taco Bell to it was the one excuse you always needed always go there lol that’s why I say they need to put Taco Bell back the way it was like it was in the 90s this new stuff out there just sucks heck they don’t even do the movie potions anymore which sucks completely
@@Lighthouseman34 i wonder how much of an impact things like social media and apps have done to slowly phase out movie promotions and things. I remember McDonald's did one for Inspector Gadget ages ago
but now with apps and Twitter/Tiktok etc., you're seeing fast food places run their promotions and sweepstakes through those means

it's going to be a lot different though, more similar to the one they re-released in 2009 for a couple of years
But that's okay because i loved the 2009 Volcano Burrito and Volcano Taco.
It's been 25 years since I last ate one and I'm still experiencing a volcanic eruption. :/

I literally worked at Taco Bell in 1995 and I don’t remember them having a Volcano Burrito then. I only remember 4 Alarm sauce which I’ve pined over ever since it left.
Same, Congo collab was some fiery red sauce or something. Volcano didn’t come out til early 2000’s. And those 4 Alarm double deckers were the best throwbacks no one talks about.
@@phux absolutely no one. I also can’t find many references to Border Fry-Z. it makes me wonder if it was a uniquely midwestern item, it was very similar to Taco John’s Potato Olés.

This was one of the items that pushed the Wild sauce, god that stuff was amazing.

@@xtremeentertainmenttv9664 Fire sauce is my favorite. It's the only one I really get now. ONe time, the guys at the drive thru gave me a Hot sauce by accident. Tasted just like tomato water because i'm so used to Fire hahaha
