It could never compare. There are 2 things Americans are obsessed with Aliens and Dinosaurs...And Jurassic Park and Independence Day were some of the biggest Blockbusters in the 90s.

I miss those magical times, when a new big movie came out it was so exciting, and cinemas were packed out . And you had all this brilliant hype and advertising that went with them, now they just come out and you never hear another word, yes steaming has it uses sometimes but it has taken the magic away.
