i have the dark blue version (40 EUR on amazon). its good for the price. im really scared i will break something when i try to mod it. i have a hot swap optical keyboard from banggood and a friend of mine lubed it and fixed stabs but the J key and the left arrow are dead.
@@HipyoTech are you sure about the sockets ?( I haven't open the keyboard so I don't really know if there are sockets or not) I think they just let the holes for the leds without solder and the switch hold the led (quite interesting) the problem is with the two holes in the space bar i can't see a way to put this leds without soldering them to the pcb
@@jaiversalazarortiz779 Atleast in my board, they put metal pins in each of the sockets that allow LEDS to get a connection without solder required. I know I had a few issues trying to put them in, but they should all slot it.
@@HipyoTech ohh okay , I haven't tried with proper leds but I think you are right (mine also looks like metal pins), and I just notice that the two holes in the space bar near the switch are bigger than the holes in the switches so that's probably the problem, this needs another kind of led?

How is this considered as silent? its not a silent keyboard? anyone can suggest silent mechanical keyboard?
the LED is not hotswapable, i did just like you but the led wont turn on. Can i ask which voltage led did you use?

Pretty cool. The LEDs don't need to be soldered on or anything? Just pop it in?
Yeah! It uses special sockets so they just pop in and out
