    Thank you for this video, you make it look very simple to change out. I do have a question however, should we unplug the battery (the positive) before unplugging the sensor and changing it out? Some guy suggested that we also do that anytime we unplug anything electrical. I appreciate your time in helping us.

      Thank You!
      I dont, It's not necessary, there shouldn't be any electrical current in that plug if you have the key turned off.

    After you replaced the sensor . You deleted the code the check engine light if you don't do this will there be a issue.. I don't have a scanner so if I drive it to the nearest place with a scanner would that work.

      No issues, you can drive it that way, who knows the check engine light may go out on its own.
      I dont like driving with a check engine light on. If something else wasn't working correctly you wouldn't know because the light is always on. Amazon sells some cheap scanners that do a good job of giving you and erasing the codes.

    I put zipties on mine. I've seen them pop off and blow holes in the manifold from the heat!

      👍Yep, that should work also. I ended up getting some dorman hoses they look like the stock hoses. Thank's for the suggestion 👍. Take Care!

    Why not just use hose clamps instead of getting new meh hoses?

    • @WhipCityWrencher
      @WhipCityWrencher  3 роки тому

      The old ones were short from fraying at the ends and being cut, so they barely made it to each end. I ended up replacing the new ones that I showed in the video and got the originals that I have in the description under the video. Clamps may work but not necessary if you use the correct hoses.👍🙌😊
