The speaker polarity only matters when you have more than one speaker installed, and whether you want to wire them in parallel or in series, with different resistance outcomes.

I think it is CV212 on the Tsunami2 that adjusts the Bemf,when running in consists.

Forget the tabs; you will have problems, and those tabs have always been known to cause problems. Why do you think scale trains and others solder the wires?
