Great video! I have used the same recipe for years and It is perfect! A bit of WARNING however I'm all about essential oils BUT citrus essential oils are photo-sensitizing (because of compounds called fuco-coumarins), meaning that they attack and burn the skin when exposed to sunlight. So if you are using citrus essential oils, use them for your night cream, or don't expose your skin to the sunlight within 6 hours of applying your mixture. Most other essential oils are fine though

Where do you buy your ingredients without making extra trash? In my mind, if I order the 4 ingredients on Amazon, then I have 4 containers rather than 1 already made if I order it from 100% pure. Dying to know!
Becca Granda I buy my ingredients package free. Also, when you think about a product that is already packaged, those ingredients also had to use packaged products that were shipped from many places and then to you. By making your own, you can buy the raw ingredients and cut down on the energy it takes to make the packaging.
I haven't been able to find bulk cocoa butter and some of the other ingredients mentioned. Do you have an idea of where? Or in big packaging? I only find tiny bottles and containers.
Is there a way to not use coconut oil? My dad gets a headache from the smell and any lotions I seem to buy give him a headache but I want something I can enough that doesn't bother him either
I wenr to ho to my local market to buy some bulk product, and when i was there i seen the employee filling them with product from plastic packages that came from card bord boxes, i was so disappointed, my question is is it worth it to buy bulk in my area? im still doing verry little trash i dont use plastic bags or bottles or disposable anything, i was going to do bulk but im not sure now

I made this, and now I use it religiously. My skin has never felt so soft! I LOVE THIS.

Its my fav body lotion recipe. Other recipes are like vaseline but its like cream.
