  • (ANAA) - Advanced Native American Archery (HAWK combat system).
By the instructor : Pan Saltz Caballeratos.
Learn what it means to rapidly raise your bow and accurately hitting your target in less than a second while you are standing or running. The perfect skill - technique for a guerrilla combat archer. Once again, I am translating a modern military technique into good old archery. I am using my iconic advanced Southern Plains Native American short bow and I am enriching my special style with it. Although what I do is mainly Navajo based, now I am giving my focus to the mighty Comanche archery. I am combining their historical style with my own. The results are turning out to be amazing. The video contains a full presentation of the stated skill, but also a deeper explanation of the war strategy used by the old tribal raiders. Also, humor never misses from my videos. It also includes two shout-outs to my good archer friends. Miguel Vera and Valentin Vedernikov.
The first video I mentioned is about doing archery but with the mentality of handling modern firearms. Click on the link below to watch it :

The second video I mentioned addresses the historical Native American short bow in relation to the Comanche depictions in modern films, through a Navajo perspective. Click on a link below to watch it :

Ah man that trash talk in multiple different languages was crack up man. Your archery is insane dude, seriously impressive. I'm focusing on being able to do 1 single precise shot for hunting, but maaaaaaaan that speed shooting looks so fun!!!

You are the sniper type. A grunt like myself wouldn't dare to move any closer without a sniper guardian angel watching my back. Let's team up and do archery drive-by's to enemy tribes 🤣 . Los dos arqueros locos! Hahahaha.

This shooting tactic combined with excellent horse riding and gorilla fighting reshaped our military.

Yup. Even tribal names are given to modern weapons, like the Apache helicopter for example.

I love how you're humble enough to post the bloopers. When I'm practicing on the range I get comments about my misses, to which I reply my style isn't hunting or competition, its reactionary for people and war. I would love to never miss, but to me combat archery is about attrition. I know the likelihood of hitting is lowered when speed shooting, might as well blow through the clip. Its why I love your channel and your apocalypse arrows, the fletching and nockless nock are literally under a penny each (assuming one buys in bulk) and the only real cost is the sharp tip and shaft (both of which I'm experimenting to find that sweet spot of cost and good enough).

Great video, one of the very few of the UA-cam archers out there that actually train to combine skills, archery, movement, tactical thinking and application, environmental considerations etc. Building usable skill!

@@PanSaltzCaballeratos Maybe in 2025 you would consider coming to Canada and putting on a seminar, say in the spring/ summer. I would do the promoting etc. I think you have a valuable skill set that would resonate with groups up here.

@@FactsFirst-yo8gc We'll keep in touch. It sounds like a really good idea. Especially for Canada and the government's ridiculous laws on guns. Archery is the perfect "trojan" to train free loving people. It's about time I publish some social media to connect with friends through UA-cam. I'll announce each profile / link with a video within this week.

Brother, This archery video is definitely worth reference. You've combined the guns rapid shooting from the morden special force with the traditional archery.
I think you can make a few IPDA or IPSC archery videos

Nice video. I have often found when I've seen people doing archery tag they were natural shooters compared to target archery. Similar to this style of shooting they shoot a bow that is best suited for the situation. It seems it unlocks something in the average person. Whereas target archery (which I also respect) it's often hard to teach when a person's natural way of shooting has to be corrected with 'proper' form. Which is why as a beginner archery coach I like to step back as much as I can, only offer advice when asked, let them enjoy shooting naturally.

My custom short Turkish (79cm unstrung 97cm stung) Horn fibre laminate finally arrived today after 7months. its f**king lush, so sexy.
She's alot weaker than any of my bows at 45lbs with a capped out 27" draw, which for me is really short.
she's Designed for 22-25" which gets me about 35-37lbs if memory serves. about 155-165fps.
my new one is to be the fastest bow i have as far as handling is concerned. i've been practicing your archery style now for awhile but i wasn't really on board with the light light bow's, although i didn't disagree i could just pull bigger bows fast so why wouldn't i? also i didnt have access to something, 50lbs is my lightest bow.
i had 2x Comanche style D bows made with bamboo, there 50lbs 20" which im overdrawing to about 25"
i called her Corvid as it has that black and white horn and backed in black leather, look going. shes a pretty little bird. ill be looking for some Corvid feathers, preferable a magpie but ill take whats given.

Was the revolver invented because native Americans were killing settlers with bows and arrows?

    • @PanSaltzCaballeratos
      @PanSaltzCaballeratos  Місяць тому +1

Yep. There were raids on colonialist settlers who broke treaties and occupied Indian land. These warriors were too fierce to handle. So the solution came in the form of new technology.
