UA-cam recommendations are so hit or miss. It's either a man in his 70s bitching about gun violence while he dual wields revolvers or hidden gems like this. Never heard of you guys in the slightest but here I am. This drill looks like a blast. Great work.
I'd like to try this. Can you reload WHILE you are moving backwards to the last position or do you have to complete the reload in position 3 before moving back?
He iniciated the reload once he reholstered the side arm then turned towards the back cone during the live fire demonstration so I presume the answer is yes.
looks like 10yrds between each cone, and 10yrds from the front to the target (total 20yrds from the back to target) . really up to comfort of the shooter as starter and slowly increase the distance.

@@austinplatt8011 Unfortunately not. It's designed to work with Magpul stocks. It says CTR, but it works with all the carbine stocks with those longer cut outs at the top. I have it on a DT-PR. The FEER is the same as the Magpul Cheek Riser but half the length. It's designed to go on the rear slots so it doesn't block your charging handle when the stock is all the way in. The way the guy in this video has it defeats that purpose and he could get the same functionality out of the much cheaper Magpul Cheek Riser with a bit more weight.
If i could you would get two thumbs up as It is you get one and a new subscriber. Are you based out of AZ and are there any more planned training courses between now and the end of the year for the Civilian Population?
What i just saw was a demonstration of very low level proficiency with a rifle. Bad connection to the gun, support arm completely locked out, very slow splits and choppy movement. Cant believe people pay for shooting training from people with this level of skill. Guess it’s just because they look cool
So you think this video demonstrates a high level of fundamental skill with a rifle? The level of skill you expect from someone selling them selves as an expert and someone who LEOs should pay to be trained by? And the video is titled “tactical precision” im not sure what that means but using the entire C zone as the standard when shooting from 20-10M is not precise at all. And drills where you’re Re holster a gun on the clock are bad practice.
In life and death situations, when in doubt, don't do it. Having time to doubt yourself means your wasting time, not reacting fast enough. Intelligence is reaction time, that is what is meant by FPS.
C-zone steel at those ranges? You like eating jacket pieces? And there is really no need to hot holster guns on a timer. You can learn that part with an empty gun. You should have to hurry on that anyways, because you don't holster when threat is visible on LOS
All the years of shooting I've done, I have never seen a teacher flag the line like this. What an egregious safety violation it is to reload then go muzzle down while facing the line and then sweep your timer and camera man. you need to take more classes before you charge people their hard earned money to teach one.
I don’t think there’s a set stage were you’re only gonna shoot moving in a single direction…. From what I see with this drill it helps get used to shooting in different directions and different motions as well not so much the way you’re putting my Bro… m choosing to see the positive from what they doing.
@@AYKAYFORTY7 Did I stutter ? You reload the mag, then run to your next firing position. Reloading on the move is cool at the range, but creates bad habits that will ultimately harm you if you actually try to do it in an environment where the risk of tripping and falling is higher, like a forest.
@@HayasaTribe o ok makes sense…maybe I have cover maybe I don’t,either way I wouldn’t be out in the open in the first place if I can help it,but for range day fundamentals, sure.
