Nice blanket. I’m making a Christmas plaid blanket for my daughter and my two grandchildren. So they can watch Christmas stories together and eat popcorn warm and cozy together.
Tutorials for this style of blanket have been popping up on my feed for a week now! Im in the middle of a c2c scrap blanket. I cant wait to get started on one like yours! Thank you for sharing how!!
I knitted one so many years ago and don’t remember how I knitted it but I crochet now and would love to make another one . Thanks for making it so easy.
I bought some beautiful denim type colours to make this! I did see somewhere where another crocheter did their weaving with lengths of chains rather than plain strips of yarn so I'll try both - when I finally get around to making it as I've got SO MANY WIPs on the go atm!! Lol
I can tell you it’s a pain to crochet lengths of yarn as chains but it looks great. I think weaving lengths of yarn plain adds thickness and weight. The choice is ours in our making of plaid blankets.
Great video. But your “invisible join” is…. Different? Seems cumbersome maybe? Time consuming? There are many easier ways to Jon a new color! But of course, is your prerogative. Just think when teaching beginners, easier is better! Constructively only, promise! Overall great vid! Keep at it! Sorry it’s just that in 30 years, I’ve never seen one knot a join like that! I’m not sure how invisible it would be. Who knows maybe you taught me something new! Lol. Good luck sir!!

Happy to help!
Would be great for a chunky rug!!
Finally! I've been hunting on youtube for awhile and you showed me what orders I have to weave the colors. Thanks a bunch!!!
Glad I could help!
Beautiful Blanket. Thank you for sharing. Very clear tutorial.
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Let me know if you make one yourself.

Interesting. I'm curious about using lengths of chains. I may have to try that myself.

Que bello,bello,preciosooooo,Gracias Profesor .
Gracias
Josh. What yarn and needle did you use.
I used a chunky yarn from Michaels, but you can use any weight of yarn and the size hook recommended on the package.
How many skeins of chunky yarn did you use?
I used three of each color for the one I made, but it all depends on how big you want to make it.
@@JoshHasTooManyHobbies thank you
