Congratulations, grandma! You really outdid yourself with this gorgeous plaid blanket. You are incredible, Tiffany. Be sure to show us some pics of the baby all wrapped up in this made with love blanket. 💙🎊
I just finished my blanket. I am proud of me! Thank you so much for this done. Its for a first f mine too. My first Great Grandchildren. Its a boy too.
huge joy to hear your great news Tiffany. How absolutely wonderful for you all - sending love and congratulations to your daughter too. As always you've produced a fabulous blanket too - thank you
Beautiful pattern! I can't wait to try it. I was looking at your little bag thinking, gosh there's just got to be some inventive thing you could use and re-use, rather than cutting a good zip bag. Things you could probably find/make/thrift/upcycle to dispense a smaller ball of yarn: - a small, clean food jar - a thoroughly cleaned Pringles/Lay's Stax can with a hole punched into the plastic cap - those clear 2-piece craft ornaments that are sold during the x-mas season - a child's plastic easter egg with a hole in the top/bottom, made using a hand drill or a nail drill from a nail styling kit. - reusable child's cup feeding the yarn through the straw hole in the lid - large pill bottle - mesh pencil cup - custom lego yarn dispenser - a small to midsize yarn bowl out of air-dry or oven-bake clay. Swirl multiple colors together for a marbling/psychedelic effect. Make your own fancy yarn feeding swirl/hole(s) I was bored after I finished your video, so you have this list now. Do with that, what you will. Maybe someone will look in the comments and go, "Oh look! Bonus projects!" lol
Always clean, neat, professional, easy to understand. I’ve learned so many nice new techniques that are simple and professional from all of your videos. I had to buy your baby blanket book (not the e-book.. I bought the actual book /book from Amazon. love it !..and now I just discovered four weeks ago, I’ll be a grandma for the second time! And she is a girl to be born May 2021! Blessed holidays and many many thanks ....laura from Santa Paula, Ca.💕🧶
This is SO COOL that your entire reason for starting crochet has happened! What wonderful news! You certainly are prepared now to crochet so many beautiful gifts for baby. I just LOVE this plaid pattern. Thank you so much for sharing the good news and this pattern.
Thank you for this video. I'm very excited to make this one. I'm working on your pink gingham baby blanket with the eyelet border right now. I'm making it in shades of purple for my Granddaughter. your tutorials are very easy to follow. I've learned so much from you.
Congratulations 🎊 I love your videos! I have made some beautiful blankets and other projects for my kids thanks to you. I get so sad when I see these tutorials because you make it look effortless and I just can’t seem to master the yarn carry. Even still I watch from beginning to end in aww. Thank you for your time and teachings. Stay safe!! Happy crochet 🧶
I got your link from another site. My granddaughter has just lost her baby, so I will pick this up later. I can tell this yarn is different, just by looking at it! Very pretty. Cute trick with the yarn in the bag! Thanks
I have been following your website for awhile now and I must say that your patterns are the most beautiful and unique...I really love them! I need to make a couple of baby boy blankets and the difficulty is in the deciding which one! That tip about putting the bobbins in a separate baggie for each is great, this will save time and trouble! Congrats on the new addition to your family, too!
This is a beautiful pattern! I love your channel and your patterns. I have made several of your patterns already. I just finished the Diamond Bobble baby blanket. I started the Crochet Windowpane and Puff baby blanket today. I also bought your pattern book. All of the patterns on the channel and in the book are just beautiful.
CONGRATULATIONS Tiffany! 🎊 This is lovely and looks really simple to make! I always thought plaid patterns were difficult because of the number of yarns and the pattern that looked complicated to me. But your explanations demystified plaid crocheting! Can I use this pattern for a skirt instead? Would it look good? Thanks for your beautiful tutorials! 👍🏾
Congratulations to all!! ❤️ Always love your patterns have made several ginghams..actually with the same color combo. this one is next on my hook maybe in tan, blue mustard yellow?
Thanks Tiffany and congratulations on your new Grand Baby! I love your tutorials! I’m wondering what brand the needle is that you’re using? It looks comfortable to use. Thanks!
Tiffany- I am new at crochet. I have been at it every day for about 3 months. I am so happy i did not give up. I am a leftie so learning was especially difficult. I love this blanket and want to make one for my co-worker who is expecting. Is there anyway we could get this in a leftie version? Thanks! Love your videos!
Thank you Tiffany. I will, eventually, do this blanket. But I am making another pattern from you (the Tommy Pfilg?.... I can’t spell his last name ( the red white and blue ) blanket.
I made this blanket and it turned out amazing. Has anyone made this blanket in pink colors?!? I'm trying to find caron simply soft colors that would be pretty together.
When I switch from 6 rows to 4 row section i am confused.Do I finished off the white? Its not used in this section. If I'm suppose to carry it how do I do that.
I found the answer on her website instructions. "ROW 7-10 (4 rows): At the end of Row 6, pull through with Light Country Blue and cut White. Alternate with Country Blue. Also, be sure and pull through with the Country Blue that is in the baggies and still use that color in the row so it is carried vertically up the blanket and ready to use when you switch back to the alternating White and Light Country Blue rows."
Congratulations, grandma! You really outdid yourself with this gorgeous plaid blanket. You are incredible, Tiffany. Be sure to show us some pics of the baby all wrapped up in this made with love blanket. 💙🎊
