    Very good to hear that from you. Last week I just talked to my doctor about setting some milestones upon which I can come off fenofibrate for my high triglycerides. The doctors response was a bit disheartening because while he said that we may lower the dose, it’s better not to stop the medication because the important factor is not whether one can achieve the target weight or triglycerides level and lifestyle, but it is whether the person can maintain it.
    I understand what the doctor meant but cannot understand why the battle of lifestyle change has be assumed a losing one.

      Work closely with your doctor, if you show you are able to change and improve your lifestyle & diet adequately and sustainably, your doctor would adjust your medications needs accordingly. But work closely with your doctor and do not adjust or discontinue your medications on your own. All the best. Blessings
