    Thank you for this. Doctor can you comment on cholestrol impact of only consuming egg whites. As a vegetarian, i rely a lot of egg-whites for protein and want to understand the impact of cholestrol with egg-whites

    In another news, a Harvard study showed that Oreos reduced LDL cholesterol more than cholesterol-lowering drugs did. The author of the study (Dr Norwitz) has a UA-cam channel explaining the mechanism

      haha ... yes, am aware of that attention grabbing 'study' on Oreos and cholesterol, but for people who do not know or understand the context of that Oreos 'study' may get confused by it and end up giving up on optimising their diet to better manage their cholesterol levels out of exasperation with how 'confusing' the topic of diet - cholesterol - health seem to be. That would be a pity.
      The context of that Oreos 'study' was about how refeeding carbohydrates to LMHR phenotype people practising a low carb diet may help lower their very high LDL ....

      Hi, I apologise that it is inappropriate for me to give specific individual advice, but my general advice would always be to focus on improving one's lifestyle and dietary habits holistically, instead of looking to supplements, superfoods of any kind.       People with high cholesterol would definitely benefit from making the necessary changes and improvement to their diet, it may lower their elevated cholesterol to some degree (sometimes significantly), even if it doesn't, the change and improvement to their diets, if done correctly, would still benefit their overall long term health. If possible, get some help, work with someone to guide & coach you to review and make change changes to your diet. All the best! Blessings
