    When adding the 06 throttle body to your 01 1000 did u have to do any special mod for it any wiring clip change out .or was it as simple as a plug and play .the ECU didn't have any difficulties because of injections or stva .and will this work with a 600 or 750 in this year span

      No issues w/ ECU, STVA, or injectors. No reprogramming/remapping required. Everything was plug and play. Don't know about 600, or 750's.

    I'm going to do that now. i have a different issue though, and that being I can not get the bike past 10k RPM under load. I will try replacing the fuel pump first.

      Did you find out what was the reason why it would not run past 10k RPM. Mine have the same problem. I have tried to replace the Fuel pump and the Hole throttle body and it did not help. Could it be the ECM?

      brandon schreiber - it was the exhaust inside that had turned around - removed the inside and then all was fine 😀

      @@eskildaagaard639 the exaust inside? I had the same issue on a K4 1k, changed the fuel pump, ran like a champ. Then i hit a bump and it hasn't ran since😓. Im convinced its an ecu. Confirmed spark and fuel.

    Do you have to unplug the ECU while the battery is hooked up? I'm having problems with my 2001 K1 1000

      John Smithllc It's always best to disconnect/reconnect the ECU after disconnecting the battery to avoid any possibility of frying the ECU. On that note, make sure you battery/battery connections are good. I recently had stumbling/stalling problems on my current R1 that was the result of a dying battery and a loose terminal. Good luck!

      @@vetteluvnh thanks. Ive been swapping that battery from bike to bike to which ever one will run. Yester day i had the gsxr 1000 running pulled out the gate and it died. I was jump starting it from my ninja battery and the dam cables popped off and touched together, dash went out and i was so pist i said screw this crap! i pushed it back in the gate. Threw the cables over the fence in a feld and rode off on the ninja with bald tires and no plates while it was snowing.. Somehow I made it to the store and back without getting run over or sliding off the road killing myself.. I'm hoping it just fried that 30 amp But when I looked out at this morning I seriously wanted to just kick it over and set it on fire . I love that GSXR 1000 but I'm so sick of messing with it that I'm thinking of selling that one and the Ninja, my dodge Cummins Dually that some drunk ran into and buying one of the new electric bikes and fixing my Harley .

      @@vetteluvnh... That's probably the smartest advice I've ever gotten from anyone on the bike. I never even heard of someone doing that. I myself rated frying that thing. I wonder if there is any relay or something to put in between there incase something were to happen.

      Check fuel pressure, check plugs for cracked insulators, check airbox for obstructions, check injectors are not plugged. Lastly check STVA like I show in video. Best of luck!
