Fuel Pump SUPER CLEANED but could always be crap lol. Im not getting any error codes but the symptoms seem STVA related (deduced from online research). The bike runs FINE and i drive it everywhere everyday but I just cant pick up speed fast (cant "gun" it) and I cant go over 115mph due to the bike not being able to go over 9k rpm comfortably.
Thank you sir! I have been driving myself cray looking for someone with the exact same problem as me. Everyone else seems to have some of the same issues but not all or exactly what I have. Your video description says it perfectly. My bike only runs clean at quarter throttle and when you hold it wide open it goes flat and no power. Then when I roll it back off throttle it picks up again at quarter throttle. Also bike used to start right up cold, but after the issues started it takes a while to start at cold engine temps. Also it seems to surge at idle only after I ride it. Not during warm up. I’m gonna order a pump off eBay tomorrow

Same here. I’ve replaced fuel pump and throttle body including TPS and still the same problem. Any good advise.
@@liltwin32 it helped. But i ended up getting a new ecu. With the fuel pump and ecu it ran like new

Had the same issue for my K6 600 ended being the fuel pump I cleans the fuel rail and replaced the fuel injector filters and o rings still bogged after that bought a quantum fuel pump with pressure regulator and new gaskets and cleaned the housing with vinegar and baking soda and fixed the issue. 👍🏽
If you have not fix the problem yet its your fuel pump filter and no not your strainer but internal fuel filter its inside the plastic houseing i have method that will increase response and hp gain and it only takes about 5mins very easy to do just link me and ill explain it to you ill even show you a video how to do it i have done this method on my 05 gsxr 600 04 gsxr 1000. I can hear in the video it wont take full throttle but as u ease up it rev up a lil its becase the engine isnt getting enough fuel its just starving.

Hello, the K5 GSXR 600 motorcycle gets stuck at 12k rpm, it does not go up, I changed the fuel pump, I still have the same problem, can you help me?
start with the fuel system. process of elimination my friend. you'll get there
you my friend need a to clean the fuel rail aswell as injectors. then you need to make sure the tank is ventilating properly and has high octane. with the airbox off start her up and of she still doesn't rev up ur tps could be going bad and is seriously out of alignment or you could have a bad fuel pump as you've stated.

Has anyone solved the problem? I have the same problem. K5 600 does not exceed 12k rpm. I changed the pump and the brain, but I still couldn't solve the problem.
Mine is doing the same thing wants to fall on its face on full throttle shoots flames and bogs at 9-11k rpm but half throttle will red line any idea?
Not getting fuel need a bigger jet or to back out the pilot screw

did you replace the whole fuel pump assembly? or was a certain part from it just replaced? Having the same issue on my bike
Most likely a bad fuel pressure regulator that's what went bad in mine easy parts are replaced if you can find it I actually ended up making my own that was an adjustable regulator you can buy online for like $30 then find out the PSI your bike likes to run at

Having this same problem with my K6 1000. I think I might need a fuel pump but I've heard about secondary butterfly values and sva as well

If there are certain codes a limp mode may be activated.
Fuel pressure regulator very easy fix most common for this bike to do it as you start rubbing it loses pressure
How do you fix the fuel pump regulator?
@@thegospelofvanlife9381 went to a pull and save junkyard for motorcycles got a used fuel pump I used a old fuel pump housing
Depending on what year you can buy the fuel pressure regulator online on eBay not for my year though

have you or anybody found the problem... i took my butterflys out.. still doing it.. i change my stator/rectifier. i did the fuel pump.. and still doing it now my bike wont start.. sounds like my fuel pump relay went bad so i replace it and still wont kick on...

Secondary butterflies are not opening up when u are hard on the throttle. So the air fuel mix ratio is of......you can zip tie the butterflies open or remove them. The bike definitely will have a rough cold start and idle rougher but you will get ur power back to thru the revs

My gsxr 1000 k7 doesn’t go over 6,000 rpm it Boggs when you get over 6,000 rpm
My 750 is doing it around 5k I cant figure it out fir the life if me🤦
@@TheConstitutionState mine struggles to go pass 4K after is passes 4K it’s not a issue. Took it to the shop bought new front air hoses fingers cross that does the trick or else I need to buy a new throttle body
have you solved the issue ? i got same problem.. replaced fuel filter, now it can go past 6k rpm.. but low rpm feels not smooth.
stva WILL throw code if that's what it is

your problem cam chain,,, you have to change cam chain(new one) ,chain extension occurs and this results from the sensor timing is losing CMPS
believe me try. You will see there will be no problems

My 02-750 is doing the same thing but at 6000 rpms and sounds like a 2 step.

@@MoHawk_1970 i had a long search around the air and fuel components needed for the engine. I pulled of the filter box and understood the air was not my problem, so i knew it was the fuel that was problem... There you have 3 components to look- injectors, pump and filters... Cleaned the injectors didn't help. Cleaned the pump strain also... Then checked the pump by connecting it to 12v and for 10 seconds it pumped more than 440ml fuel... So the pump is Ok ... Then from the scheme i saw that there is a secondary filter for high pressure fuel... Tried to backflush and clean it... Didn't help.. so i bypassed it by making a hole in a right place then installed an external fuel filter on the fuel line just between the pump and the fuel rail that costs arround 4$. The filter i used is for Daewoo lanos. I can show pictures if you want. So the problem is solved and now the bike works perfectly.
