I love these videos you've made, I've been reading tarot for a few years now and the rws is my favorite to work with. These comparison videos are so interesting (i also enjoyed the little white book video) Thank you!
Aw! Thank you so much! I really enjoy the comparison videos. I think they're something that I would have appreciated seeing myself when I was acquiring these decks.
Not just that the B deck is the newest (among A,B,C,D), but prior to the blushing fool in 2 part box, there was a blue tuck box blushing fool in the publishing sequence actually...
Yup. Do I have a video of my blue tuck box yet? Probably not...I should get on that. 🤣 From what I’ve been able to tell, the tuck boxes were sold at the same time as the 2 part boxes. If the tuck boxes came out earlier, it was only slightly before. It looks like most of the blue tuck boxes have blushing fools, but there are some out there that have cream fools, so the blue tuck boxes did have a longer run than most assume.
Oh! It never occurs to me to show off the box for the vintage D deck. It's not that exciting, just a plain blue slipcover box. At some point someone removed the top to the outer box, which is a little silly. From what I understand from collectors, there are a few different boxes that the D decks were sold in. This particular one was one of those where the deck was not sold along with a little Key to the Tarot book. The ones with the book tend to be sold in red 2-part boxes.
Do you see much of a difference between the BB Blushing Fool and the USG Blushing fool. Simon says the texture of the cards feels different. I suspect they are from the same batch but packaged by different publishers. What do you think?

That Pam D is a piece of history.. wow
It really is. It's pretty cool to see and handle. I do feel a bit like I'm falling through time when I handle it.
Melissa Zupan is love to hear how you found them
Honestly, it was just luck. I happened across the eBay listing minutes after it had been put up and knew what I was looking at.
Melissa Zupan knowledge is power

@@melissazupan6026 yes, from what I´ve seen - most of the blue tuck boxes have the blushing fool, my blue tuck box has a blushing fool too
