Not sure whether anyone from Gordon Ramsay's team will be reading much into the comments, but I wanted to say thank you for these videos. They're so well edited, perfectly easy to understand as a novice, and always inspiring. I really enjoy cooking and watching others cook. Thank you for posting it to UA-cam so that I can watch it on my phone while I'm cooking, and keeping the videos (and recipes) short and sweet.
Thanks for watching, good luck with it.
SnorkFlirt wat?
What herds have you been smoking?
Daniel West Couldn't agree more! Great stuff.
+Daniel West They're great for both novice and seasoned cooks!
+Jason Patowsky Whenever they use a scene that only shows hands, and has (mostly shaking camera work,) and Gordon Ramsay is narrating, that's his "stunt double."
Gordon Ramsay: "Right, let's make ice cream. First off,
hot pan, olive oil."
Heh, i think the Italians make an olive oil ice cream!
Youre a moron
A TOUCH, of olive oil.
Now - reduce the heat to keep it smoky but not burnt the whole time without touching it
Olive oouuuul
Theres the metric system, the imperial system, and the Ramsay system, in which teaspoons become tablespoons, and tablespoons become 1/4 cups
LetsGoKhan I’m done! 😂 You won the comments section!
Taena hahahahaha.
😅😆right! I didn't know I was looking for this comment lol
😂😂😂 I was literally thinking that when he poured the teaspoon of sesame oil in! SPOT ON😂😂
There's a dry teaspoon and a liquid teaspoon tho. I thought the same as y'all but my ocd made me visit the kitchen. I think he's about spot on.
Gordon: "touch of olive oil"
also Gordon: *empties half the bottle into the pan*
Yum yum what are you on about mate?
Why do I always watch these when I'm starving....
joseph pavelka
I know, right? Like a moth drawn to flame
+joseph pavelka I watch this when I eat. Makes food tastier.
+joseph pavelka Hot pan olive oil. done.
joseph pavelka lol. Right.
joseph pavelka u smoked to much
eating ramen noodle packets while watching his cooking makes it taste better
No, it reminds you how shitty it is
+Ismael Peña shut up you donkey
Yes papi
+hunzery im literally doing this right now XD
There should be cheap brands of beef mince out there. Otherwise tuna with Mayo and red onion is incredible.
Gordon, how many teaspoons of water are there in a swimming pool?
Gordon: "3"
🤣🤣🤣🙏🏼😂😂😂
Gordon: "That's the key to good cooking, have a bit of fun along the way"
Also Gordon: "JUST GIVE UP COOKING YOU DONKEY"
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16
God sent His Son Jesus Christ to save us from our sins. Jesus was crucified, buried and then rose again on the third day. Now when we believe in Him we have eternal life and forgiveness of sins. He defeated death on our behalf and saved us from eternal separation from God because He loved us.
Thanks for the prayer, I needed it
Gordon puts it VERY perfectly:
Cooking should never be a chore. The more you cook, the more confident you become. That way, you actually start to enjoy it, and that's the key to good cooking.
...or anything else in life.
Thank you Gordon.
I agree as long as it's food you want to cook. However when life happens and time is short it's a chore to cook boxed mac and cheese and boiled hot dogs for the kids.Thats when cooking sucks.Ramsey level of cooking I reserve for a day off work when I have time to enjoy prepping and cooking.
Washing the dishes is a chore though. The least favorite step of cooking for me haha
Try telling that to my slob of a wife
"Shoveling cat shit should never be a chore. The more you shovel, the more confident you become. That way, you actually start to enjoy it, and that's the key to good shoveling of cat shit"
I watch UA-cam videos while I'm cooking. Now i could happily be in the kitchen all evening
His kids must bring a five star meal for lunch to school everyday
@ savage but in the British school system ITS INCREDIBLY AND SCARÈLY TRUE
No. He has said in an interview that he doesnt spoil his kids because he doesnt want them to grow up thinking that the world owes them something. Not being nasty im just saying. 😁
None of his kids is allowed to eat in any of his restraunts! He once said
Really? I've never seen a kid out lunch the geniuses with lettuce and cheap meat. How'd you know he has kids with home lunch I'd be like you feed them with your health triangle pyramid I cook non stop and it's never enough Grrrrrr lol 😎🤙🏻🇺🇸
His kids probably beg him for PB and J to be just like all the other kids lol
This is an absolute stunner for any occasion. This has been one of the recipes I learned almost a decade ago and still to this day it is a nobrainer.
“Today I’ll be showing you how to freeze plain old water to make some delicious, fragrant icecubes. First...”
*gets pan out*
“olive oil.... in”
holy shit this guy will put olive oil on his olive oil
Tomorrows headlines, "up and coming chef leo martinez on par with gordon ramsay"
***** lmao what even
+Leo Martinez it means that you know jack shit in comparison with ramsey so maybe try shutting your mouth. He just did it in a sarcastic way. What he should have known was that you were too thick to comprehend sarcasm,.
Doks Office Studios what's up how was your day? Are you mad?
Leo Martinez my day was grand, but you sir are a fool.
'Breaking it up like that really helps to separate it'
I support your cause.
Hahaha

We have been having this at least once a month for several years now. Just cooked it again tonight, they are so addictive! I can't stop eating them. Economical, simple, and delicious! Thanks for sharing Chef Ramsay!
So do you add the mince pork in with the beef?
@ashleighdennis5426 Yes, I do. I also mix 70/30 beef to pork when I make burgers.
If Gordon ever managed to teach me anything its DONT OVERPOWER SIMPLE DISHES AND TRUST THAT INNER INSTINCT YOU HAVE WHEN COOKING. I managed to open my own restaurant in Sarajevo thanks to his tips. Thank you Gordon. ❤❤
That was definitely not one teaspoon of sesame seed oil!
Yet it would taste better than anything you've ever cooked lil
Lol
+Phcx at least I was scouted to the MLS. Yet you don't have any significance in the world. Lol
+Harumi Hokari haha he must love the flavor but maybe extra of it in the dish is just to his tastes.
+Harumi Hokari There is a video where he makes bloody mary linguine and says to add two tablespoons of vodka, then he pours in half the bottle
One of my favorite parts of his videos is when he checks his own seasoning. He knows that it's one of the main rules of cooking, and he knows that he's not above making mistakes.
Just made this last night, was freaking delicious!
How
He makes cooking look so easy with the way he does everything with such care, grace, and precision.
Just wanted to say that I've made this a few times already and it's amazing, my whole family absolutely loves it. Thank you Gordon and your wonderful team of editors.
do you go with 50 % beef and 50% pork as the video
I sure as heck do! This recipe never fails and is so easy to make.@@markshirley01
my moms away and there is no one besides her who can cook meal and only my brother and i are home so i started cook for us, at first i was very reluctant and a bad cook but after a week i started enjoying cooking and now i am looking forward for the time of day where i can cook again i am enjoying it
That's so awesome to read. Keep at it, chef!
USGishumura the trick is to keep trying new things, i found myself cooking the same thing over and over and it starts feeling like a chore rather than something fun.
Or improving on/modifying old recipes. Sometimes I get into a cooking slump 'cause I don't have the time to figure out a new recipe from scratch, but just trying to modify one aspect of the one that I already know turns out to be really insightful and fun :D
UA-cam is Great for following recipes
kappa kappa Well the thing is about cooking the same thing over and over is I always seem to find a flaw in it (even if others think it tastes good!) and I just keep repeating it until I get bored LOL
Gordon Ramsay:
olive oil:

Gordon Ramsay: incredible !
I just made it! It's super delicious! It's easy to follow and the result is awesome! Thank you very much for sharing! 💕
Made these moments ago and my family went nuts for them. Thank you for sharing this; simple and oh so good!
"A touch of brown sugar"
-adds a fuck ton of that shit
+Ralph Mettle lol
really it wasnt all that much. the brown sugar was a great addition.
the brown sugar mellows out the spice and gives it a nice shine. you'd be surprised at how many SE Asian dishes use brown sugar in them.
+SgtSplatter782 Malaysian here. I cook Malay, Chinese and Indian at home. Never have i ever come across any recipe that requires Brown Sugar, or sugar for that matter. Maybe our brothers across the causeway bridge - Singapore add it into their dishes, because they like their food sweet! Whereas we like our food savoury across all types of cuisine! Or perhaps it's just that most recipes call for Cinnamon powder, which has a sweet taste profile. Otherwise i simply don't see a reason to add brown sugar unless you are caramelising stuff
Boeing AH-64 Apache Helicopter nope I think some Malaysian dishes use Brown sugar
So much passion behind all the cooking and he makes it so interesting. You're a legend Gordon that food looked fireeeeeeee, definitely on my todo list
Made this tonight for dinner and it was amazing, the sauce is so tasty and just compliments the full thing. Thanks Gordon 👍
My favorite things: Gordon's short choppy sentences and when he rubs his fingers in front of his nose when describing things... I love it
I can't stop making this, so good! It's also a hit at potluck parties...
Definitely will make this tonight😋 Thank you for this incredibly easy but super delicious recipe
Salesman: So what kind of pan would you like?
Gordon: *Nice and hot*
😂😂
I am going to try this as soon as I get some time on my hands. The chili looks so good and tasty! Thanks Gordon!!
Thetechgenius Thanks, hope it goes well.
Some thyme on your hands?
+Ham and Cheese haha! What a funny yolk!
that chili and ginger garlic and sesame seed oil looks great, yes.
omg!!gordon replied
Complex and amazing flavors, in a simple, easy and very healthy recipe. Plus a touch of Master Chef Ramsay!
I love cooking. It is just as fun to discover new recipes. Nothing like home cooked food. I find it a passion to slice and dice herbs and veggies. I enjoy the art of cooking.
THANK YOU Gordon Ramsay, I made these after watching the video numerous times to ensure I got it right and they turned out so amazing, I couldn't believe they came out of my kitchen. My friends thought I ordered them. Im a big fan, went to your resto in Vegas and it was absolutely incredible! So greatful for these easy to follow recipes for the novice cook, thank you so much!
Holy hell, i just made it and it was amazing.
Great to hear, thanks.
Gordon Ramsay YOU REPLIED!?!?!
Gordon Ramsay Gordon, You're the best!
Silviu Moga Almost guaranteed to be his social media manager, not Gordon himself.
SGTBizarro exactly, I highly doubt he has time to reply to comments on UA-cam.
Nice, perfect dish that can be made easily without having to spend a fortune. Really nice way of lifting up the mints to a new level, and making a variety of choice, i.e instead of a standard spaghetti dish, thanks Gordon!
Made this tonight, and it was incredible!!
Thank you for sharing with us, Mr. Ramsay!
This dish is so delicious! I have made it time and time again. So much complex flavours yet so simple - thanks Gordon!
Chef Ramsay, I wanted to personally thank you for this recipe and for making all your videos snappy, easy-to-understand and fun! My husband is diabetic and I was so inspired by this very diabetic-friendly dish, I'm preparing this for him to enjoy tonight. Thank you so much for your unwavering commitment to excellence.
i'm curious since both the meat and sauce had like a big spoon of brown sugar and how you managed to change that
@@hans3331000 Hi Hans, I'm very glad you asked that. I do take certain liberties with recipes to make them appropriate for my husband. Since I've been cooking this way for so long, neither of us can stand anything that is sweet (except for berries and apples that we grow) I simply omitted the brown sugar in the meat and perhaps it wasn't as sweet, nor as golden as Chef Ramsay's, but was delicious. Sometimes when I want a *hint* of sweetness in a savory dish, I will grate some carrot. As to the sauce, I didn't put any brown sugar in the sauce. However, to balance the flavors, I did add a drop or two of stevia. These wraps are a favorite around here. Don't be afraid to modify a good, solid recipe like this to factor in for special dietary needs.
I've been using this to fill gyoza wraps and it works fantabulously!
Wow this is so inventive, I'd like to have a try!
How do you cook the gyoza wraps? Considering it is raw flour/dough. Do you fry the wraps separately, or do you lay the almost cooked beef onto the wraps whilst they are frying? :)
Queenie Hon With gyoza I generally stuff the prepared mixture into the raw pastry, then steam them, then fry them in a pan with a little oil to get the flat part crispy.
lettuce wrapped bbq is korean. gyoza is japanese for chinese potstickers, idiot
Paul - everyone is having a nice conversation. You made an idiot of yourself
@@SardaukarNo1 no one is wrapping it in lettuce you dumbfuck
This is one of my bf and I's favorite things to make! Sometimes we even make it into chili beef "rice bowls" with spinach or bok choi instead of lettuce... top with sliced carrot and cucumber... so good.
What a brilliant idea. Thank you for showing so clearly. I love all your videos!
Made this tonight for the family, it's was a winner. Tasted amazing! Served it with homemade salsa and steamed rice.
I tried this today. I was really stunned. I would never have imagined to use lime juice and coriander for such a meal, but it fits brilliantly. I am gaining confidence to experiment with balancing spices, indeed. Thank you!

nice
Watching Chef Ramsey cook is so soothing. Even when I don't care for the flavor profile of a dish that he is making, it just melts my anxiety to see how masterful he is at preparing the dish.
Fantastic! And I love Gordon’s attitude, right down to how something simple like soy sauce has a wonderful brown color as it’s added to brown sugar. Of course it does. But, yes! It’s great that way.
I tried this dish and it was absolutely amazing. My mom thought I cheated and got it from a restaurant.
Hi, what is the green leaves that you use for the Dipping Sauce? I cant understand what he said:-( thanks
Mrs. Autobody Coriander, or cilantro if you’re in the US.
The more you cook the more confident you become. Season meat before you cook. Touch of olive oil. Get good color in your meat by breaking it up, and firing it up and make it crispy. Draining is crucial keeps meat crispy. Use just the chopped chili garlic and ginger first with the seasame seed oil lifts the flavor, and brn sugar carmalizes. Shreeded lime makes the meat frangrant. Crunch, salt, and sweet. Dipping sauce soy sauce adds dark rich color. Don't over do seasame seed oil, chop corriander once. The lettece is baby Gem.
These videos are inspirational.. good food , fast n easy food and delicious food .
Gordon Ramsay is such a g because you can actually tell he likes cooking for you and knows that a handful of people will actually try this and be so completely satisfied.
The people who disliked this video are the exact ones who tried to replicate the cooking In this video, but it didn't go so well after all!
Another Great Recipe by Gordon Ramsay! Just Bought Everything I need to make this! Thanks Gordon!
***** results???
hey, thank you for your comment! Looking forward to have all that in account :)
yes sir.... i never knew i could cook.... always watched your videos... and now i just loooooove to cook. my dad just loves my cooking :)
Just made this, it's fantastic, so many flavors and it's pretty easy to make for a novice cook, not to mention its low carb as well
I love how Gordon says "a touch of this, a teaspoon of that" and then, proceeds to put in copious amounts of the ingredient in question, totally contrary to the initial instruction. Then again, artistry has it's own quirks. When you're a professional grade cook, a touch can go a long way. That aside, Gordon's cooking is literally phenomenal. I really do suppose he's amongst the best cooks in the world, simply because cooking is his passion. Wonderful model/example for people who want to get more connected to their cooking.....
notice how he eyeballs everything; never uses a measure...…………...
Its accurate you just dont know how to cook.
"Take it much further than you've ever taken a mince before" LOL only GR!
Yo I think he meant literally cooking it more then grey, make it very crispy, TAKE IT FURTHER!!!
enjoy watching him cook; the man's a technician.
We just cooked that, it was marvelous!
Thanks for sharing, Gordon.
"Touch of olive oil" I love it when he says that !
Haha me too...
>empties the bottle
Funny af 😂
OMGosh my mouth won't stop watering
Just made all of this from watching the video and its absolutely AMAZING! 10/10 would reccomend.
My wife just finished cooking this now and wow. Just wow. It has a round of flavor and is very tasty. Thanks for sharing this, Chef!
"Sesame seed oil, Teaspoon only in" Pours Niagara Falls into pan🤦♂️
lol
@Tobias Thade good call
That seems delicious but also looks like it's gonna be a flamethrower in my mouth.
Then use a milder chili or don't use chili at all.
just wait til it comes out the other end
Just take the seeds and membrane out of the chilis. You will still get the flavor with out the heat.
Zachary Bennett bad thing is the heat is part of the flavor.
Actually, those red chili's are not really that hot. And when you fry them off in the pan they loose a lot of thier heat too. Trust me, try to eat one of those chili's raw, then eat one that's been in a stir fry, the difference in heat is crazy.
I never cook anything they do but I just love watching them for some reason
These are the best lettuce wraps I've ever made! Well done Gordon. I frequently go back to this video because he makes them so fast.
This is the best channel on UA-cam
Gordon: *tastes sauce ,camera freezes time stops. Gordon looks up
ITS FUCKING RAW!!!!!
The Scale lol. Right.
The Scale that was on point dude.
He likes olive oil i think hes saying to us.to JUST ADD 1 TEASPOON
I tried this recipe and it was very authentic and flavourful. I didn't find baby lettuce but used the centre of the regular lettuce as mini lettuce scoops. Thank you
Ana Lorenti what chili pepper did you use?
Just made this and its so good!! thank you for this recipe!!!
This man redefines "Just a touch"
Lol fereals , He means a "Just Grip Of olive Oil "
Simple n tasty
Mmm....good !!
I have made this dish many times, love it! Thanks so much!
Roommate and I just made these - they were really good. Then we added some of the fried rice we made from another one of Ramsay's videos and that took it to another level - would highly recommend!
I turned on the captions...
Never before have I been so confused
Gordon: “And a touch of olive oil.”
*pours a whole cup in pan*
We just made this! It turned out awesome! Make sure you go super high to sear the meat right. Especially on electric stoves. A dab of sour cream is REALLY good and helps off set the heat if you don’t like it super spicy
I got my love of cooking just from watching your videos. Good job. Greetings from Kenya
This little dish is packed with flavor and I never saw him add salt. He is a really good cook.
he added salt before the mince went in the pan :)
Fish sauce tends to be very salty as well, so you don't need to add extra salt on top of that.
Hes a chef and a damn good one.
>food without salt in it
lol who are u trying 2 fool
Donkeys watch the video he added salt
Gordon Ramsay you brilliant bastard. 😍❤️
Made this again tonight. Freaking delicious. No leftovers. The sauce is to die for
Looks so good! Going to try this recipe in next weeks meal plan and I already can not wait for it! 😍😍
Definitely inspired by Thailand. I know what's next on the menu!
Try the dish man and have fun making it your own as you know how to make it.
Nobody:
Gordon Ramsay: Olive oil. In.
It would be weird if i said that in my kitchen
All of his foods that he cooks look so good. Gordon maybe you should teach some of the restaurants around where I live how to cook.
Looks like "sisig", a food in Philippines.
very Korean of you Gordon
So hard to stop watching these.
While im watching i imagine the taste😋. I definitely to cook this. Thanks Gordon for this amazing recipe 👍
Cooking = the only act that makes killing with a style.
how bout bartending
Fashion?
i think we’ve found a wild vegan 😂
...
Bad english
Why does he always put 3x’s the amount he says to put
The key to this dish as is with most other dishes is that he gives you a starting point to which you can adjust. Don't like so much fish sauce? Back off. Want it more sweet? Add more brown sugar. Want it hotter? Use hotter chilis. Want less salt? Use low sodium soy sauce. Want to make it gluten free? Use Tamari. I have made this dish 3 times now and have started adjusting to my wife's and my taste. One of my favorite things to cook.
I just made these, he's not lying, delicious.... I'm very grateful he makes these videos
I made this today and it was delicious! I skipped the lemon juice though because I don't like sourness. I put the minced beef/pork over rice in a lettuce wrap and it was so flavourful and tasty. Thanks Chef Ramsay!
Cooking lime juice will make it bitter... You should add it at the end when you've taken it off the heat..
nah id rather listen to the 12 star Michelin chef.
TheBloggmet he's a 3 star chef
no it won't. Maybe you added seeds
"Teaspoon, aunly"..... *Goes on to invade Iraq*
Just made this and loved it. Thanks for an awesome meal.
I am a first timer on this Asian dish - Gordon Ramsey moves so fast and talks fast 🚀 it was good. And used leftover meat with white sticky sushi rice - Thank you 😊
I just feel like he doesn't quite grasp the concept of teaspoons
Must mean something different in the UK??😁
