Hey dear Maureno and Remon from Explomo. This was once more a really epic explore in that Portuguese mansion. Although there was a lot of decay traces visible I still could easily see the beauty behind the decay. Some of the rooms were still in quite a well preserved state with beautiful furniture and many smaller antique items. Wonderful to see! I very much enjoyed watching and already looking forward to your next explore. Stay safe, peace and kindest regards from sunny Switzerland.
Wow! !!! What a beautiful home, love the ceiling and the kitchen area, I love tradition kitchen , love that is a big area and high ceiling, sad to see this place got abandoned
Nice One Maureno and Remon.. thank you for this brand new episode...the house is simple.. and so much decayed around the house... any ways.. keep safe always.. and Im waiting on your next video Exploring episode peace out...😊😘❤💋
Thank you for this video Maureno and Remon x loved your repect when you placed the holy ornaments on the furniture instead of leaving in the drawer , that picture of the Sacred heart of Jesus 1935 was a beauty x Thank you for the risks you take to bring us all these videos we all appreciate x
Hello Maureno and Remon! Really excited exploration some parts of the house very decayed in contrast of some amazing rooms. One big hug for each of you 🤗 ❤ 😊. Probably you are need someone staying outside near of the places checking it is secure exit the place 😘👍
Thank you for your time doing these explores for us. Is it just me or has anyone else thought the wine barrels look very much alike in these houses in Portugal, I thought I was watching the same video over and over. It must have been a traditional way of making the wine. Thanks again stay safe with love from Scotland ❤❤
Maureno and Remon, you've done it again. 👍 Great video tour, guys. I can't believe the rate of decay after 15 years of abandonment. Still you can see this was a beautiful house, and the ceiling @ 15:50 was incredible. I don't know why, but I just love the way they design those wooden ceilings in Portugal. It's such a unique feature that I don't think I've quite seen elsewhere. Beautiful. And I do appreciate the deep respect you guys always show when you visit these homes (i.e. placing religious artifacts on display where they should be, closing up opened doors and windows, etc.) That's very refreshing to see. Thank you for that. That's the way homes should be treated, whether or not they're being lived in. BTW, I think this is the first time I've ever seen anyone have to hide out from a random goat herd. 🤣 Yet another close call, guys! 😆 Thank God you didn't get caught, though. Still loving the Portugal series! God bless you both and stay safe!! 🙏 ❤
HOLA REMON, HOLA MAURENO, 💁🖐️DESDE ARMENIA QUINDIO COLOMBIA 🇨🇴 SUR AMERICA. NO ME PIERDO NINGUNA EXPLORACIÓN DE USTEDES, SON EXCELENTES DE PRINCIPIO A FIN. 👍👏🏼👏🏼 QUE ES UN MÉDICO ENOLOGO ❓🤷♀️
Well at least you were done when someone showed up. I'd have hated to get halfway through and someone showed up to make me leave. At least this one didn't leave me holding my breath praying that the floors would hold together till y'all got out.
Hello hello!!! 🤴❤🤴❤ Well, as always, love the drone shots! Lovely to see the beautiful house from above and to see all the beautiful lands serrounding it 😍 The house is quite simple, yet lovely and cute! It is really in a bad state. Sad to see it close to collapse with the days! But still, it's cozy and nice ❤ There is a lot of good stuff to see inside, the ceilings are soo soo pretty, the chandeliers, and the furniture. And it was really nice and respectful of you to take the religious statues out of the drawers and to put them where they belong. Thanks for doing that. You respect religion more than most of religious people do ❤ My favorite parts of this video are the basement and the kitchen 😍 But what i liked the most in this video? Is the last part of it! So funny actually 😂 These are the best parts and memories about exploring forgotten places. You two were lucky you didn't get caught by one of these cute balls of fluff 😜 Anyway, thanks for another great adventure, i enjoyed it! See you next time. Bye 😍❤😘🥰🤗👏
Great explore! From what you say and aerial photos, I believe that whoever inherited this property sold off the land around for development since they could no longer make a profit at wine making without serious modernizing, which was probably too expense. Also the house must have needed too many repairs for any new buyer to want to bother with, so they are letting nature take it back. It is probably cheaper to pay ownership taxes on this house in its abandoned state and allow nature to take it down than it is to go through demolition and haul off of everything, especially if the old structure contains asbestos.
Yikes, my heart was in my mouth every time you took a step forward on those rotten floorboards. I'm going to chastise you again Maureno and Remon for not protecting your lungs from mold. Now I'll shut up.😂 I really loved the gorgeous ceilings in the home. Some if those bedrooms looked smaller than a prison cell. I just wish that family members would have taken an interest in the furnishings left behind. It seems so disrespectful to me; especially to leave something as sensitive as a driver's license and bank books/statements. I thank you for showing us this gorgeous home; it's not hard to imagine what it was like in its heyday. Best wishes to you both from your Japanese obsessed longtime viewer. Please, if you're ever back in my part of town again, I promise that this time I'll drop everything to meet you. Cheers from Southern Ontario 🇨🇦
As someone who has already had to bury one parent and with the other now in a retirement home where we are in the process of selling her home and splitting her belongings… what do you expect for us to do with 70 years of bank statements, receipts, legal documents and paperwork? We aren’t permitted to burn it.. we do not want to further clutter our own homes.. what do you feel we should do with them? In our case as the home was sold we shredded and threw them away. However, our grandparents home IS abandoned and there are all sorts of items left behind. The things with sentimental value were taken the rest was just left to time.

Hi Jo! First of all, thanks for watching another video on our channel. It wasn't the goats in the garden we needed to be scared of, but rather an angry Portuguese farmer for us trespassing on his ground, hahaha. Luckily, it all ended well and we didn't get caught. Thanks so much, and I'm happy you're able to enjoy our content and like what we do! 😊

I enjoy your adventures and all the beauty that has stood the time of decay. But I don't understand why you and other explorers leave beautiful paintings and statues that should be in museums so others can see the craftsmanship of earlier times ? I enjoy the history and the stories of the people too. I just don't understand how these objects are not taken and saved from ruin and decay. It is so sad. I know people rob but don't people who have respect for the beauty get a chance to save them too ?
