Nestled beside a meandering river in the heart of the Portuguese mountains, an exquisite historical mansion, a relic of the late 18th century, stands resolute. This mansion, constructed on a solid square plan, was once the esteemed residence of Mr. Francisco Emilio and his extensive family.
Francisco, hailing from the illustrious Brazilian Pimentel lineage, had spent years in military service. Upon retirement, he purchased this property, dedicating his life to the serene pursuits of agriculture and viticulture. The mansion still cradles priceless antique wooden furniture from across the globe, bearing intricate dragon motifs, a tribute to the Pimentel family's heraldic legacy.
Amongst the remnants of time, we uncovered a solitary medical record belonging to Nilsa, dated 2003, possibly the last inhabitant before abandonment befell this grandeur. Today, we embark on an exploration, revealing the derelict beauty of this forgotten mansion, breathing life into its silent history.

Totally loved your video of another unique Portuguese Manor. Everything about the property and house is beautiful, from the ornate plaster ceilings and furniture. That bed you thought was copper is actually brass. Copper is a pinky brown colour, brass a yellowish golden colour. Also the marble finish in the hallways were very nice, loved the shape of the wicker chairs in one of the sunny hallways as well. I don't think many of us fully realise how much effort you explorers put into obtaining access to the properties you explore and potential danger of being caught! I for one fully appreciate it! Thank you both for the magical tour and showing us the gorgeous views! 🦘🥰🥴😳🤗

Well that's a really really really reallyyyy beautiful landscape and view 😍😍😍😍 All the green land and the mountains, the beautiful river, just wow! It would be amazing to live in a place serrounded by this amazing and magical scenery, and to wake up everyday to this view, or sit near the window and watch the amazing masterpiece that God created! Don't worry u guys, even of u will say it 100 times, we understand! The beauty is really surreal 😍🔥 This place is quite big and the garden around it is so overgrown. I love that it has its own mini cute chapel, i love it! I love it for real, it has really nice antiques, amazing wooden furniture, and like always, the ceilings in this amazing country are always so unique and cool! The walls and wallpapers as well. Not to forget about the amazing Portuguese tiles 😍 Crazy to see everything left behind right? But sad at the same time, to see the memories, the photos, the stuff... Like the crystals and the amazing plates left there in dust. Those people were really wealthy as u said, it shows, of course if they produce wine! Finding the wine barrels and bottles is always my fav part in the videos btw! Loved this adventure, i love it when both of you are exploring together ❤ Thanks for another great adventure, see u on the next one. Peace out ❤❤❤✌
Beautiful and untouched large home. Love everything about this place. The bedrooms were simple and in great shape....I am glad this amazing place is still pristine and not Vandalized by hood lums.... Wonderful explore, Thry lived well.... Someone has to be watching out for this place....

About a year ago I started investigating my family roots..... With a different company. It's a little addictive when you really get into it. Just yesterday my boss's wife asked if I did research every night. I told her yes I do. So many intriguing things I've discovered. I've even did a little traveling to check into some of the stories. It's definitely fun to take a deep look into your own past. I hope you really enjoy it.

Hola chicos, hoy tuve una maratón de exploraciones, todas excelentes.
Fue muy divertido verlos llegar al abandono, los ataques de risa incluidos, pero igual me asusté por los vecinos que tuvieron que evitar.
La casa fue una toda una sorpresa, primero el paisaje de postal 😍, luego la casa que en su exterior parecía sencilla hasta que ingresaron a la capilla, la gente tenía dinero hasta para construir su propio lugar de oración, increíble.
Luego de la entrada, el comedor pequeño y la cocina parecía una casa común hasta que aparecieron la galería con sus ventanales, los cielos decorados con molduras, los corredores con sus muros cubiertos de azulejos portugueses. Entonces aparece ese comedor intacto, con todo su mobiliario, la porcelana y esa vitrina preciosa con toda la cristalería 😍
Posteriormente, los dormitorios también casi intactos, mis favoritos el que tenía la cuna y el con dos camas y, por último, el gran salón.
Lamentablemente el patio interior con las plantas no se pudo apreciar bien, pero en sus mejores tiempos debió servir para que la familia disftutara del aire fresco en el verano. Como dije fui gratamente sorprendida por esta magnífica casa. Excelente trabajo como siempre.

Beautiful property! I keep imagining all those crockery and crystals, so beautiful and elegant, acquired by that lady in the photo. They were chosen with so much care and today abandoned, broken, that lady should have been very careful with her things, for today they are scattered around the house and in the hands of strangers. It really is a shame....

Very interesting adventure , the view around the property is stunning, and the property is very large, I didn’t like the design of the house but I love the property area , this house got so many bedrooms but only have 2 bathrooms, the kitchen is very small for a large family, very interesting exploring indeed, thank you for sharing.

I'm from the U.S. I love to see abandoned houses of Portugal that also happened to my grandmother house she was from Rezendes Portugal I came to the us 2 weeks old and it broke my heart to see my grandmother house falling apart doesn't the government take over these houses if the taxes are not payed?
