Everything about it is special, from the pre-credits narration on to the end. I really enjoy the way you played Tess, so authentic. Grandpa, as usual, lends a comedic touch, and the subplots really aid the story. Jason wrestling with his drilling in the National Guard vs. his love for music, Ike and Ben working on civil defense, the Baldwin sisters trying their best to help Tess and Pip, Erin still reeling from the loss of G.W., Jim-Bob setting up his shortwave radio in the barn, Mary Ellen longing to be with Curt, who has been called up; all of this underscored the main plot so well. It's nice to see you two, Sally and Judy.
Sally you were so memorable on The Walton’s. Wonderful actress and I am so happy you stay in touch with Kami. Judy you always bring the best people on to surprise us. Thanks to you and Sally for everything. 👏🏻💕

@@judynorton2598 I think that Jeff also appeared in several other episodes in different roles and I was watching a video of old short lived tv shows and their was one series called Me and the Chimp which Kami was on with Ted Bessell of That Girl and Ginger Pyle USMC fame as her father and it only lasted a season then was cancelled and then came the Walton's sorry to ramble but thank you for the memories of 70's TV and Thank You Judy.🇺🇲📺💞📺🇺🇲
That's quite amazing that Miss Boyden had met Miss Colter when performing in a single 'Walton's' episode with Miss Colter's kid brother- and despite the very different paths and geographical homes each has had, they've stayed friends all these decades! Thanks for bringing this!

Me and my family have been binge watching The Waltons lately. I told my Dad The Walton family is a lot like my own, from the grandparents to the grandchildren. Hard working, loving and respectful. Don’t see many families like that today. Keep up the good work!

This was fun. I was sitting here after seeing that little boy at 14:34 with her on Lassie. Thinking I just saw him in something. Then it finally hit me. I had seen him as an abused child on "Family". I've been watching "Family" for the first time here lately. I love shows from the 70s. Looking forward to part 2 with Sally.

The Christmas Story makes me think of a story my friend Eddie told me. He was a small child when he was living in England and remembers the bombing and the bomb shelters.
My mom shared stories with me about growing up in England. Not London, but still an area with bombing.
