hi bought the same unit ..but someone said your better off getting the DI..chamber too..because i will still have trace of TDS in water..so your input on that..possibly might purchase the DI ..part to add on..thanks
Thanks for the video - so this all looks pressure powered by the mains supply - does that mean it can be installed horizontally as well as vertically ? I see yours is horizontal in the video, but I was not sure if that's how you usually run it. I plan to run mine in the bath with a tap adapter rather than connected under the sink - just need to know if I should attach it to a board or something. Cheers ! :)
We've just got the same unit and we're having trouble getting the stoppers out and fitting the plastic tubing. I don't want to use too much force in case it breaks. Do those push in to remove as well?
Thanks for the vid.The instruction on these are so confusing. If they had a label with Water In, Waste Out and RO Water comes out here, it would be a simple job. I packed mine away for a month before i attempted it again, it's quite simple really !
im trying to learn about these. is the waste water just standard tap water? or has it ran through the filter too? the reason i ask is because im on a water meter. but i need to sort my 40ppm tap water
just bought this ro system, im just like what you said in your video ''panicky'' as i've never owned or used one of these systems before. btw, whats the flush thing about? so when i install everything, i do the flush?
I flush each time I use it just to clear the old water out, only for 2-3 minutes. On first use do it for longer to clean the materials, 10 minutes or so. You just turn the blue tap to switch it to flush, the flow will be more powerful then when in RO mode.
Just to update, i've had this for a year now and it is still working well. All in all a worthwhile piece of kit.
I thought RO units are to be use 24/7 like a regular filter that has a pump. Do you use it only when making a partial change to the water?
chinito you only use it when you need more water, don’t use it constantly it will wear out the unit and filters rapidly
Bradmans Tropicals hello mate does this give you 0 TDS?
How long does it take you to fill the container with ro water buddy

40ppm is so low haha. Mine is 315, practically liquid metal.
Does the hose that expels "bad water" have a faucet on it? or it automaticaly throws the bad water out ?
LoneWolf_RO it just has a hose ... i hooked my up with a *T* with my washing machine and put the *dirty* water into the washer for washing my clothes
