the Reverse Osmosis water will erode the BRASS fitting. from the inside out. use a plastic fitting instead. you ever wonder WHY all the Reverse Osmosis parts are made of plastic? now you know.
Very nice job on the video. The way you explain makes it much easier to understand. I hope the payoff comes in a nicely decorated package, with a noice check attached!thanks man! ou're very
So create a bucket to fill with water to only fill another bucket with water? I use my aquarium as my water storage for my plants. RO water goes directly into the aquarium via auto top off. I then drain my aquarium to hydroponic reservoir via auto water changing system.
Drill a 1/8 hole in the brass elbow inside the reservoir......it will prevent siphon ..... When the pump is running it will still push 99% of the water out into your bucket....the hole will leak , but it will be inside the reservoir.
Just so everybody knows. Heaters melt the plastic in trash cans. So take some SCH40 PVC, drill holes all around it and stick the heater in that. Ask me how I know.
Good question, i red in other forums that if you always add new water - which here happens automatically when you take water, so it stays fresh like in the fish tank but as there is only water in the tank no other stuff, it should not be a problem. Just be safe to take an tank that consists of food safe plastic.
If you have an aquarium that's warmer, it would be nice not to change the temperature on the fish/plants. No one told you in the video that the heater is necessary.
How do you do this when you need to do a big water change in a discus tank which requires a RO and Tap water mix ( bcz of high tds in tap water ) and aged in a barrel with heater?
How do you clean the trash can reservoir? Mine keeps getting black sludge growing on the 1/2" pump tubing and its happening like less than a month after i clean it with H202. I DONT KEEP NUTES IN IT, JUST PLAIN RO WATER
you might need a cleaner outside environment. The sludge/mold comes from the outside air. Or, you might consider installing a spigot + a pressure activated pump instead of just a 1/2" tubing.
I have a quick question,I have a distem with 3 filters and a membrane, but the discharge water is always flowing even when is not producing RO water,is this normal?
Best setup I've seen on UA-cam. Great tips. I like the elbow for the water tubing from the pump.
This is really smart setup. I like how you have the output at the top. You don't have to worry about any leak this way.
Sehr cooles Video, hoffe da kommt noch mehr generell, finds echt super! Die Aufrufe bestätigen es, schade, dass du nicht mehr postest..

This was great. Get back into it and post more.
Thank you so much! Just bought everything for my plant hydro set up
Great job. I appreciate how thorough yet concise the procedure's instructions. Thank you very much. PS nice hat! Bike beenies 4 Eva!

If you build a sturdy frame underneath you can just do gravity feed and ditch the pump.

@@TGODxRaid I made a mistake. Water went places they shouldn’t go to.
Really neat and help full , thank you for sharing this video.
Very late comment/question, but how long will this water stay "fresh"? Will it stagnate?

Thank you. This helped me so much
What is the purpose of the heater and the circulationpump?
The container is inside your house it will have the same temperature as the room.
If you have an aquarium that's warmer, it would be nice not to change the temperature on the fish/plants. No one told you in the video that the heater is necessary.
Thanks tis was really helpful, your a smart guy
A question on these 32 gallon totes where is the 32 gallon mark at on the tote is it the top line before it reaches the top
So your RO system doesn't need a tank?
Can the water go bad in anyway? What’s the shelf life of the water after you fill the bucket? Thanks!
what are the benefits of having the circulation pump?
How do you do this when you need to do a big water change in a discus tank which requires a RO and Tap water mix ( bcz of high tds in tap water ) and aged in a barrel with heater?
As I read in other forums you are good - just get a food safe barrel.
Good job! Thanks!
Cant these just be attached to the actual tap,so you can just set it up when you need it,I live with parents and they wouldn't want it left
is brass ok for coral
No
NICE WORK

make sure you're using food-grade materials that prevent growth.

hi . sero solenoid valve is damaged please change it . every thing gone be ok
Well done bro
Hi does the waste water stop automatically when bin is full?
YES, that's why he added the pressure valve to the left side of the 4 RO filters on the wall.
What does the floting thing do
Shuts it off.
Now that you have clean water, maybe clean the muffin tins and the potato pan? Just saying... Otheriwise, great information.
