Another friend for a different ride I had to persuade and convince for about 1 hour (yes I'm persistent) to a normal ride (maxed about 1G tops) and when we finally got into the ride he almost fainted twice going up the hill slowly and he revealed that he never been on a ride ever in he's life... I felt really bad for him because that was a bit too late (and I'm really good at persuasion I guess) for him.. He almost died at the first slope, then when he opened he's eyes he also enjoyed the shit out if it... When we walked out of the ride he started to hit me and said that was really nothing (probably pumped up adrenalin :-) and I said... I told you so for about 1 hour :-) Then we took all rides at the park and he loved it as much as I do... But I know some don't and the fear is insurmountable and joy is just not their. Like in your case I believe :-)
I kind of get what you mean. I was always scared of rides as a kid and I decided to try out a big ride and at first I didn't know whether I loved it or hated it but after about 1 min I decided to embrace the fear and I absolutely loved it and I wasn't even holding on and now I adore huge rides and I've been on a slingshot. I can see why people hate that feeling though and it's not for everyone but I love it now almost too much.
When you realize all of the risky dumb stuff you did when you were young LOL...my kids can’t get me off the ground at amusement parks🤦🏽♀️. Those days are over.
