Happened to me on the Corkscrew at Knott's Berry Farm. Just as we were leaving the station I noticed my lap bar wasn't locked, I lifted it up and screamed and an employee ran over to lock it. I worked at Knott's at the time and that was my favorite ride, could never ride it after that, and since then, I have always checked the lap and shoulder bars of roller coasters I go on.
True I don’t know how they do it 😂 I looked up footage of the mind bender and it showed me a recorded POV from a person on the ride, which I still can barely believe- the best I could do was take my dads phone to record in the my little pony hot air balloon and carousel at Galaxyland.
But you can also wear a watch and you could also go on call with a watch on these rides so you could stay on call with someone that didn’t go on the ride😊
The first one was attached to the ride I’m pretty sure. But for the people who were recording, they attach it to their arms or hands. Also, it wouldn’t be arm strength, it would be good grip

You should go to Carowinds NC and ride fury it’s way scarier than that’s it’s called fury 325 bc you go 325 feet up in the air and the ride is 3:25 long and it goes 95 mph but after the drop it’s rly not that bad there’s also the intimidator which is scarier to me bc it goes up and down more also anther one I would recommend is after burn your feet hang off and you go underground half of the park is North Carolina half is South Carolina and there’s about 60 rides all together and more fun stuff to do it has its own water park and different sections for kids and there’s a lot of food places like Panda Express a pizza place, Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, bakery’s and many more places it’s a really safe inmusment park and if you get season passes you can stay year round for when the water park opens up scarawinds in October and the winter fest you can also get things added on to you passes to get like two free meals and a season cup with free refills
I went to Alton Towers with a carer and we went on Oblivion and our seats were not pushed all the way down so it felt like we were free falling and that was my first time on it and it made it so much fun. We then went on again and our seats were pushed down properly and as we got to the top my carers seat belt thing went up we held it down and everything was ok just both had heart attacks and red hands.
