How to forge Mastermyr adze.

In this episode of the scrap metal replica , I show how to forge a replica of the Viking Age Adze from Mästermyr archeological find. To forge it used old 19-century wrought iron and old 19/20-century steel rail.

Great project, my forearms are getting tired just watching.
Compared to modern adzes the eye looks shallow to me - I'm sure that has something to do with the Vikings pounding these out by hand. But I assume the eye still works just fine.
