About me:
Hi! My name is Philip and one of the people behind Lufolk. I have always been interested in the simple things in life. When I look back on history I get inspired and fascinated by the people who came up with all the smart solutions to make our everyday life easier. What you can accomplish with a few tools and great skills is impressive. The first time I got that feeling: I made this! This will be useful! Was when I made a wooden spoon as a kid. And think that was the start, I have ever since been interested in making things.

Thank you very much!

It has been interesting to see you work metal to make both small and larger items. Now, I have to look up 'Type C Viking Ax!' Inserting, and then hammer welding the edge metal might have something to do with it. We will see!
Good to hear you enjoy it. The "type C" is a term made up a Norwegian archaeologist and he have grouped iron age axen depending on the shape of the axe head. so this shape I am forging here in this video would be in category C
@@lufolkcrafts Thanks for the information.
Nice
Thanks!
You don't usually wear a breathing mask in other videos. Is this normal to wear a mask like that or only for specific type of work or fuel?
It would be best to use it all the time but sometimes it is not practical, it's not depending on fuel or material I just have it for dust and smoke. I worked for a long time in very bad environment so I think I am extra sensitive now.
@@lufolkcrafts I'm glad to see that. And you protect your ears. You are young man. You need to last a few more years!
@@jamesfousek8666 yes I want to do this as long as possible 🙂
Watching you turn that lump of metal into an Amazing AXE just lets me know that your talent is way ahead of most . 👍⚒🤠
