Hello Nada, loved what to wear in 60's. I'm 61 and I find it hard to find clothing for my versatile style. I need all the suggestions you can offer me. Love your content ❤❤❤
First time viewer here. I'm 66 and retiring in 2 months, 19 days. And, yes! I am counting. Love your tips and subscribed. Finene's Basement was the best. Mom would let me take a day off of school and take me shopping for back-to-school after we saw what everyone was wearing. Mom was smart and stylish. Lunch at the Cafe Marliave. Such wonderful memories. Miss the Basement, Marliave and mostly Mom. ❤
What a wonderful memory Lisa. So special. Filenes Basement was such a fixture. I lived just a couple of blocks from it. Your mom sounds amazing. I’m so glad you are here and hope that you enjoy the rest of the channel!
I retired at age 64 and 3 months - when I qualified for old age pension haha. Over the past 6 years I have gradually ditched my office wear. But I still have some gorgeous blazers, worn with jeans or shorts
I went back and watched the other decades and now I understand and see how my personal style emerged and understand how to improve my decade. Love this series
I'm 72, I tend to shop in independent stores, not chains. I absolutely cannot wear heels anymore 😢. I spend more on clothing now and buy just quality mid range - no fast fashion. I'm in Canada, many of the stores you mentioned are not in Canada. I also think it's really really important to have very nice glasses/ sunglasses and great bags.
Yes depending on which city/province you are in it can be very challenging to find clothes for anyone in the 50+ range. Seems to be lots of florals and oversized clothes and the stores we do have assume we all want to wear tunics and large prints and huge scarves with everything…. I tend to find some nice clothes when going to Florida or traveling. I hear you about the foot wear. I have found a very nice pair of white sketchers sneakers that I can do a lot of walking in that look good with most things. Looking for a sandal now 😅 as my go to have worn out
@@rosemarie9956 I'm in Calgary. There are some good independent stores like Something2Wear in the city, also Okotoks has some really good stores like Ginger Laurier and Fisher Crescent retail. I can almost always find something at those places. Where are you located?
I'm 73, in Toronto, and I love indie stores too. During the Covid lockdown, I spent a lot of time on eBay and thrifted, a a dozen pairs of kitten-heeled pointed toe pumps by Vionic. Those and platform-y wedges and low block and cowboy boot heels are my limit. Here, there are so so so many, fortunately. But I've also online bought from stores in BC, AB, QC and NS. I try as much as possible to buy Canadian: Smythe, Mackage, Hiso, Danier, La Canadienne, Brave Leather etc. Unfortunately, none of these are inexpensive, but they are quality and they last. I have leather trenchcoats from Danier I bought 20+ years ago which look like I just picked them up at some high-end store. In fact, I can produce many many pieces acquired over the years, including a Biba coat I bought in London in 1974!!! that look fresh and even on trend. It pays to invest in good clothes that last. It's better to thrift, if you can, than to buy fast fashion crap. As far as international, Nordstrom is once again shipping to Canada, yay!!! I also order from Sezane, Washlab Denim, White House Black Market, Saks and Nation Ltd. After years and years of career dressing as a TV journalist and presenter, I find myself passing on my collection of tailored/fitted blazers, many bespoke, and going for denim and leather. I have an embarrasing number of cropped or peplum-ed denim jackets which suit my 5'2" hourglass frame. I collect belts and bags. Accessories make an outfit. (I find that necklaces draw attention to a crepey neck and earrings to sagging jowls and double chins. I sometimes suspct that some people think I dress "young" for my age, whatever that means. But I refuse to fall into the floral tunic and matching culottes trap that I see so many women our age give into. One can be both comfortable and stylish. NEVER GIVE UP!!!
I turn 61 in July. So refreshing to see women over 60 still dressing well and with intention. Yes it is a more casual phase in my life, but I love to still look and feel good. A blazer with jeans is everything to me! Love accesories as it gives me options. Thank you Nada for your effort and great videos!
I was going to a store near by and they were very good at advising what to buy. Then for a yearly work type event where there is a party and long term prizes awarded. I bought a floral dress on line. This was a few years back. I wore it but then one day I looked at it and thought that looks like what SOMONE ON MAMA'S family would wear and gave it away. MAMA'S family was on the CAROL BURNET SHOW.
I am so thankful to have found Nada and this group of fabulous ladies❤ I just turned 67 but certainly don’t feel it… I love fashion, staying healthy and fit and enjoying this stage of life. I have learned so much already..hot shopper🤣yep that’s me…I’m also guilty as others have said of buying something just because it looks cute…my goal is to become more mindful when shopping and to determine what my best colors are…I pretty much will shop everywhere from expensive boutiques to TJ Maxx…I find that Jcrew, Banana Republic, Loft and Ann Taylor seem to fit my body best…looking so forward to continuing this fashion journey with all of you.
I'm in my sixties and finally starting to figure out my style. I tend to shop at op shops (thrift shops) but yes it can be a challenge to find the gems. I also like to go into T K Max, Myer, Katies and Witchery . I started teaching myself to sew when I retired and learned quickly that's it's important to look on the inside of the garment. The way a garment is finished e.g. the types of seams used to sew it up etc, give really important information about the quality of the item. Also learning about the different fabric types and how this affect drape/fit etc has been so eye opening. I still go into stores and I'm now more confident about what I am looking at and for. Thanks Nada!
Yep, I have worn scrubs for decades. I just retired, I am in my mid 60s and now I dress for myself and for comfort. I don't have any children or grandchildren. I am healthy, active and just want to do what I want now. I don't wear high heels anymore and I don't wear a bikini anymore either. Other than that, I am pretty petite and I shop online mostly. I am glad I found your site.
A few months from 60, and I have always loved fashion. I stay on top of trends and select which ones are appropriate for me, like the mesh ballet flats I just bought and love. I shop at JCrew, H&m, Zara, Mango, Nordstrom Rack, sometimes Old Navy and Walmart (they have really upped their game). I look for quality fabrics and classic pieces, plus mix in a few trendy items. I also follow several influencers that make it easier to find items that I love!
Ross Dress for Less. Since I was in my 20's. Still my go to. I ditched high heals 3 years ago for low rise converse of every color. Have always worn denim skirts, a cute top and flip flops when I am off work. Just update them. Dress it up or casual. Its my basic here in Florida. 😊
So nice to meet you, I am thrilled to have found your UA-cam channel!! I am 65 and recently fully retired so now I have time to focus on myself. I have lost weight and have had the lower facelift I have wanted for a very long time. Now I want to focus on my wardrobe. I have always loved clothes and thought I was stylish but I now find that I don’t trust myself to know what is appropriate for me at my age while remaining stylish. Due to our mid sized town loosing stores I must travel an hour or two to shop (but don’t mind😊). I also shop online. I forgot to mention that I am petite (5’0”)
Your ladies are an inspiration! I am turning 60 this year & wear scrubs to work 5 days a week. Your videos have SO helped me be more intentional in my shopping & only buy what I really love. Unloaded tons of clothes that were being kept because they were expensive, or maybe I'll wear that again one day. There's still more to declutter, but I'm on my way. Thank you for all of your tips & great advice! 😊
Aaaaaagh: "Golden Years"! Nooooo! I'm too young for these to be my golden years! Maybe in another 20 years! Granted, I did not follow the path of most women (no children, no husband), but I'm still trying new things and looking for the next adventure. Health challenges? Yes, since my mid 30's! But you deal with it and move on! I don't have a go-to store; I am open to finding the perfect fit/fabric/quality wherever I can find it! Second hand, mid to higher end, but I'm definitely done with low quality shopping for my everyday items (except tees, as you mentioned!). And WOW, I have to say your 60's ladies are KILLING IT style wise! They are your most fashionable decade of ladies yet! Great tips!
I just turned 70, and a few years back discovered Lafayette 148 NY. I am a petite 12/14 and was thrilled to see they carry petites. It is VERY expensive but I have had great luck on Poshmark and ebay because it is not real well known. Wonderful all natural Italian fabrics and impeccable tailoring.
Marks & Spencer's in the UK are a great store, good quality, reasonable prices, good return policy and they are very current and up-to-date. Favourite buys: Eva bootcut jeans (£25), Autograph straight leg jeans with lyocell (£49.50) for Parisian chic vibes. Latest buy: Everyday slouchy white t-shirt for just £9.50, it hangs so well, the material is great, it's a little more slouchy and so more current than the tight t-shirts I've always worn and look a bit dated now. I bought multiples of all of these, they're a great investment imo. Marks & Spencer's stock many other brands too. For comfortable boots for my big feet, I love Imogen boots from Hobbs, elegant, chic and so comfortable. I've started wearing heels again and these are super comfy, I've also bought multiples. PS Linda looks amazing in that white dress and cool hair, love love love, what an inspiration!
Just this week I found your channel. I love it!! Shoes have always been hard to find, but now it is even harder. I am a 9 narrow and need shoes with a removable footbed for orthotics. . I need something I can wear for dressier occasions but can't wear heels anymore. I think finding affordable shoes is the hardest thing about being in the 60's . I love this time of life and I dress in casual clothes most of the time. However everyone needs something that can pass for dressier occasions sometimes, even if it is just a ballet flat.
I`m living in Germany and I`m absolutely loving to shop from The Reformation and Revolve. They have modern classics and amazing quality. Of course they're a bit more pricey but we do'nt need to shop 10 pieces at once, right?
I’m 65. Size 4. 5 foot 7. Very long legs and arms. I tend to buy classic pieces. I retired all most 10 years ago. I wore suits of some type for years now years. I still wear some of the jackets with casual pants or skirts. Thanks for giving me permission to get rid of the prints. I like to wear really long dresses with a jacket or light sweater. I don’t always wear a layering piece. Love long necklaces. Thanks for the great tips.
Thank you so much for your comment! I’m so glad you enjoyed the video. You seem to have great clarity on your style. It can be hard to make that transition from a work wardrobe to a different lifestyle.
I am 64 years old, shop mainly at J. Crew, Quince, Avara, Gap, Eileen Fisher, and Madewell also love Saks Fifth avenue for special purchases. Thanks for your videos.
Thank you so much for the comment! Those are great sources! I have most of these stores and some other faves in my Ageless Brands catalog. I hope you find it helpful! hueandstripe.com/catalog/306H&S4tPh?s=874959
I will be 69 in August. Theee years ago I decided to mellow my style a bit from the boho, rebel, slightly punk aesthetic to Coastal Grandma in the warmer months and French chic for cooler/cold weather. I can still add touches of my old style for spice-- say, a black moto jacket, an eyelet top, along with my flowy linen, silk scarves, my trench coat, well-fitting high-waisted jeans, marinieres, gsimple gold jewelry, etc. I love Old Navy and their jeans fit me perfectly. I've also gotten a great beige and white stiped button-down shirt, and a beige linen vest this year-- great prices (1/2 price sales!), good quality. I also thrift. I've gotten some amazing Ralph Lauren basics at my Savers.
Yep at almost 70 I know my body and style. Over the years I have collected a well rounded wardrobe of well fitting quality items. I am well heeled, wear natural perfume & my jewelry is real. Ohh & most of my teeth are mine. Life is good. Ohh! I splurge on under garments too!
I used to wear a higher heel stiletto (even dancing in them), but no more. lol. And, I don't think they are on trend any longer anyway. Now, when I need/want to wear a heel, a kitten heel works well in many styles. I wear flats for walking around stores/doing errands.
Knobbly knees with loose skin, etc. Yesterday I saw a lovely lady wearing an above-the-knee A-line denim skirt with black tights (it's still cold in London!) and she looked great. It reminded me that I can do the same, keep wearing shorter skirts with matte tights, in mid-season and also in winter. In summer I'd rather hide my knees with knee-length skirts
Thanks Nada you did a great job making us look good! 🙌🏼💕👌🏼💖very interesting to see all put together.Take a Bow. And thanks for the opportunity to participate!
I grew up in Montreal and my mother sewed many of my clothes. They always fit impeccably and the shoes in Montreal were to die for. Unfortunately I moved away to frumpville and gained 60 lbs in my 40 and 50s. I have now shed 50 of those 60lbs and changed my style quite a lot, I will be moving from this extreme cold climate to a coastal environment in the next year and look forward to not wearing heavy winter boots and coats for 9 months of the year. BTW I sew most of my clothes and like the freedom it gives me in terms of fit, style and colour as well as fabric choices. Thank you Nada for this video.
First time viewer here. I noticed the women shown were all model size. Please don't forget us Plus Size ladies who have an even harder time finding stylish clothes, especially on a fixed budget in a smaller group of retailers. I'm going to weed out some of the items in my closet based on your advice, but have no idea with what to replace them! I also live in an extended summer climate and will NOT be wearing jackets or cardigans with ANYTHING six months out of the year. I'll check out your other videos to see if there's some info I can use before subscribing. I love your enthusiasm. 😊
@@LittleRockVol thank you so much for your feedback. Living in Florida, I also understand the struggle with layering pieces. The women featured in this video our actual women from my Facebook group and chosen because they kindly submitted photos and because they are all in their 60s. As the group grows, I will hopefully have women of different sizes to feature. So happy you stopped by and I hope you enjoy my other videos.
I love Eileen Fisher. I do most of my shopping at Banana Republic and online @ Amazon for my NYDJ jeans. I go to Nordstroms for higher end/long term purchases.
Thanks so much for creating this fun series! I'm in my 60's & will be moving from a cold climate to a tropical climate so I feel like my wardrobe is going to need a significant overhaul.
Thank you. I really enjoyed seeing stylish women my age! We have few physical retailers here, only Dillards, Chicos and small boutiques- I shop there to keep them in the community. Online, I shop Nordstrom‘s, Talbots, Pendleton, Lands’ End, recently loft for the first time. Occasionally, Lily Silk, Quince, J Crew.
Thank you so much for the comment! Great selection of stores. I agree that it’s important to keep the local stores and business. It is getting harder and harder to find good local sources for shopping.
I always hated me in prints. I wish I would have realized what I was doing wrong years ago! I feel more put together now at 67 than 30 years ago. Darn!
In my area it is REITMAN's CANADA , CAZZA PER PETITE , WINNERS sometimes THE BAY sometimes. Also some times AMAZON . I'm in Montreal you would think there would be a big choice maybe for teens but not adult women who are going for elegance.
I’m over 40, with family in Montreal, and I shop at Simons there. They have a good house label called Contemporaine. They carry higher end labels like Hugo Boss and Isabelle Marant, that come on sale. In Montreal, there is a Holt Renfrew that carries Prada, YSL, Bottega Veneta, etc. I also shop at Jupon Pressé in Montreal for clothing. The female owners are about 50 years old. They stock Indi and Cold, Eve Gravel, and InWear. I shop at Intervalle for shoes. I have never shopped at Reitman’s and don’t recommend it.
@@audreyandrea460absolutely Montreal has many fabulous shops and for older people also. Just walking around Montreal I see stylish people whenever we visit. You just have to go into all these shops!!
I'm petite 5' and losing height, the incredible shrinking woman. I'm nearly 77. I like Ralph Lauren and might buy when it's been marked down and they also send me a 30% off. I know quality and Lauren has good quality. I don't buy a lot, but those things are super looking. I'm a classic. I don't want to look like a teenager, instead look expensive. I buy a lot online, but also return a lot.
I shop at Marshall's, TJ Maxx, JC Penny's, Nordstrom Rack, Old Navy, Poshmark, thrift stores. Love Ann Taylor, Loft, Ralph Lauren, but they're out of my price range. Once in awhile when there's a sale. Plus, I'm tall so finding stores that offer tall sizing is nice. I'm 66.
I love any of the stores already mentioned, but one I saw that wasn’t mentioned is UNIQLO. They are starting to expand into the United States market. Their fine merino wool, and linens pretty good quality. And they have many pants that you can ask to be hemmed at your inseam for just a few dollars which is great for us vertically challenged women.
Hi Nada, list of ageless brands and stores please. Thank you. I just found your channel and it's really helpful. I'm 62 and need to level up my wardrobe. I work from home and care for my elderly mom. I'm usually in jeans and a tee.
Ageless please. For this season I’m finding things I love at Quince. I just turned 70 last month. I have all my classic basics and a couple of summer dresses I like. I need some fun pieces
I love Quince ! I'm 71 and kind of done with prints! Classic cashmeres in neutrals and a pop of orange or hot pink perhaps. Great fitting boot cut ponte pants in black, tan and cream. Finally bought my long wished for moto jacket ( suede!) Quince NWT on Poshmark. Tons of New with Tags name brands on Posh!! They measure everything in pics 🎉
I shopped at Talbots in my 20s and 30s. I had gorgeous dresses from a Talbots. Have they changed that much. And Old Navy T-shirts are much better than Gap or Gap Factory
dear style guru...please share your list of stores that sell ageless clothes. greetings from Texas...I'll be 69 soon. looking for European style clothing to be ready for a book tour
Great video, although I'm not in the US, I'm looking for high end petite wear. I have never found a really good quality pair of straight legged trousers anywhere yet. I've purchased from J Crew, Anne Taylor but still the quality isn't there. Would live to hear your take on this, was even thinking of Japanese sites? Thank you X
Have you tried Lafayette 148. Expensive but excellent quality and petite sizes. I have other options in my Ageless Brands catalog. hueandstripe.com/closet/306H&S4tPh?s=874959
I am a young upper 60’s gal who tremendously appreciates all your style tips. The women in your video are beautifully dressed. I noticed one person with a top with a ruffle cap sleeve. I love a sophisticated ruffle, polka dots, and some stripes. Any tips on ruffles? What about a double ruffle at the sleeve? When are they too much and too out of place for a 60+ year old? Thank you!
I wish I enjoyed shopping. Part of my problem is I go to a couple stores find nothing and end up quitting. It could be 6-8 months before I muster up the energy to try again.
I'm 57 and thinking ahead to the 60's. I love to shop at many different stores, but have become much more aware of fabrics and quality, before making a purchase. Does anyone shop at Kohl's or Burlington? I have found some great items over the past few years.
(Melanie here) Ageless brands please! I buy pants from Chicos because they fit me well. I buy tops, blouses, sweaters and silk scarves from Lilysilk or Quince. Also some tops from - Boden or Saint James SA for a great Breton shirt.
Great choices Melanie! Love all of those. So many people tell me that Chicos pants fit them well. I have other brands here for you to check out. hueandstripe.com/closet/306H&S4tPh?s=874959
I’m 67 and prefer solid classic items. I also live in Florida so lightweight fabrics and outfits without layers are my preference. Colors rather than blacks and whites are more complementary to my skin tones. I’m finding it extremely difficult to shop for my orange body type size 14/Large. Any suggestions? Thanks
I am looking to curate a classic quiet luxury capsule wardrobe in neutrals I do not care to move into “ Frumpville town”. Now that I am in my 60’s. Ageless stores
I haven't heard of all the stores you mentioned but absolutely CANNOT afford stores like Macy's, Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack, Kohl's, Chico's. I can only afford Wal-Mart and some Target, but....in those stores you really are limited for clothes and styles for those of us over 60. Many styles at Wal-Mart are for very young ladies. I also shop at thrift stores because you can sometimes find nice clothes for women over 60 but does take time to sort through all the racks to find some nice pieces. Of course, affordable compared to buying new. I'm also only 5' 1" and hard to find pants that fit in length- always too long and cannot afford alterations that charge way too much! Wear Size 5 or 5 1/2 size shoes and VERY hard to find nice shoes in those sizes, at ANY store. Very limited to find that size, new or at thrift stores.
Have you checked Walmart this season?. I have a client in her 60s who has found some beautiful all cotton dresses. They have really improved their selection and I highly recommend checking them out.. thanks so much for the comment. I always try to include things for different price points.
@@NadaManley Hi Nada, I added a few more comments to my post about having problems with finding pants that fit in length. I need about 25 " inseam andcan't afford to pay for alternations. Also, due to my small size shoe, 5 or 5 1/2 , so hard to find much selection. Macy's have that size, maybe more then other stores but absolutely cannot afford to buy shoes at Macy's. Even their supposed sale shoes are expensive!!
The style I relate to : ankle length pants and more "fitted" styles, not oversized clothes. Before I retired, I used to wear a knee length "pencil" skirt similar to the red skirt shown in your video. Now I don't have the lifestyle that warrants that type clothing. No midi/maxi length for me---my legs are one of my best assets.
I am a curvy petite. I have a few shift and fit and flare dresses. They are ancient but when I see the dresses with a million details and crrazy large prints I just keep wearing what I have. I don't know where I can find skirts without a wide waistband. I usually fold the waistband under the skirt, ( better look for me but bulky). I shop all over, and yes, it is harder to find petite clothing even in Ann Taylor, etc. They all seem to be on the bandwagon catering to younger women. Even stores catering to petite sizes have styles more appropriate to the younger woman. Yes, in an ocean of clothing, I am lucky to find one item. Very frustraiting and depressing.
I still have a terrible TERRIBLE habit of buying stuff "just because" it looks nice on me and then never wearing it. I have a Staud dress I paid $350 bought over a month ago and still haven't worn it. Bought 2 more dresses since then and haven't worn them either. I wish I could stop, it's an addiction. :-( And these are summer dresses and I'm in Canada so as of today I have 12 weeks to wear them and that's it! I work from home why am I still buying this stuff? Oh yeah, cause it's pretty. Le sigh. I feel like I should start going into the office more just so I can wear some of this stuff.
I feel your frustration Michelle! Let's reschedule our talk. I would love to help with this. I think there is a way you can have it all. :) hueandstripe.com/closet/306H&S4tPh?s=874959
I have finally broke a similar habit. I have let go of items that I am not wearing (bought 3 tops that were good basics but really did not look good on me ) After you feel the sting of money wasted a few times it does sink in. Now also you have to allow yourself to wear all those clothes that you bought and try to stop shopping. I think I would love to go shopping with you so that you could help me find things 😂. You sound like my sister - beautiful clothes but she is a size smaller than me sadly
Large prints are not flattering to women in their 60s imo, especially if you are not tucking in patterned tops, thinking this will hide your apple-waist, unfortunately they do the opposite. I am constantly fighting against my "baby belly", I am slim but I will always have a tummy that sticks out because I'm apple-shaped and always was, even as a skinny child. That spare "menopausal" middle spread is often unhealthy visceral fat (or fibre in transit in my case) and it is definitely something we should always strive to do something about. The chicest, coolest, most young-looking women featured in this video are the slim ones imo, the moment you get a big belly you look old, because we still associate slenderness with youth even though most young people are quite overweight these days.
To make it more confusing brands don’t give those styles consistent names so a straight leg and one brand could be a wide leg in another. I need to do a video on this and I determine what the actual style of the pants is.
No floral prints for me, prefer solids or a "classic" animal print. Loft, JC Penny's, thrift stores are go-to for me. I am petite and like petite size for pants.
Let's talk about what we're really wearing in our 60s in 2024! If you haven't joined the next round of Closet Confidence, do it now! www.nadamanley.com/fnl/closetworkshop/

I like to shop at Ralph Lauren. I love his safari, western and classic looks. I like how he styles jewelry with these looks as well.
He is definitely on my Ageless Brands list. Love RL. hueandstripe.com/closet/306H&S4tPh?s=874959
So expensive for me😢
Yep, I have worn scrubs for decades.
Morning! Ageless brands sounds great!
Here's the link! hueandstripe.com/closet/306H&S4tPh?s=874959
I would love ageless brand list. Just found your channel and love it👏. Do you mention Boden? Great pieces!
Hi Tina! Thanks so much for the comment! Here it is! hueandstripe.com/catalog/306H&S4tPh?s=874959
@@NadaManley thank you!
Great tips!
Yes, please send a list of brands that transition the years! Loving this series!!❤Ageless!!
Love your information, Nada. Ageless, please!
Totally agree. Expensive but beautiful and lots of petite options. It's on my Ageless Brands list. hueandstripe.com/closet/306H&S4tPh?s=874959
I am 64 and love Amazon and Bloomingsdales! Amazon mostly for me, convenience, price and selection. Thanks for all your videos, kd
The high stiletto is a statement piece :)
Everyone looks so fantastic! ❤
Thanks Nada you did a great job making us look good! 🙌🏼💕👌🏼💖very interesting to see all put together.Take a Bow. And thanks for the opportunity to participate!
Thank you so much for modeling!
Gayle, you look AMAZING!!!! I love your simple chic style and you have a lovely slender figure, thank you for sharing
@@NadaManley Thank you! There's still good advice to be had!
I love Eileen Fisher. I do most of my shopping at Banana Republic and online @ Amazon for my NYDJ jeans. I go to Nordstroms for higher end/long term purchases.
I shop at Bealls for I live in a a coastal city.
Every now and then, Beall’s has amazing items. I bought a Democracy Ab solution cargo skirt there. Great high waisted tailored shorts too! (- I’m 68)
Thanks so much for creating this fun series! I'm in my 60's & will be moving from a cold climate to a tropical climate so I feel like my wardrobe is going to need a significant overhaul.
Happy to help Cindy! You might find some inspiration here. hueandstripe.com/closet/306H&S4tPh?s=874959
@NadaManley thank you!
I’m 62 and would love your list of ageless brands. Thanks for all your tips!
Thanks Michele! I so appreciate the comment! Here it is! hueandstripe.com/catalog/306H&S4tPh?s=874959
I’m in my 70’s, but I liked Talbots and Chicos and still do.
Fantastic show!! Thanks!!

OH I thought it meant how to dress in 1960! I was going to say I lived it 🤣
lol that’s awesome! I was born at the beginning of 1970 so just missed it!
Ageless. Please and thank you.
I sop Talbots, Chicos and JJill for clothes that are well made and fit my plump body.
That’s great! Thanks for the comment
Would also include Chico’s and Maurice’s (love the tees at Maurice’s).
As usual, excellent advice!
Ageless brands please❤❤
Yeah, Debbie! So true.❤
They are on my Ageless Brands list! Totally agree! hueandstripe.com/closet/306H&S4tPh?s=874959
My go to store is Saba ( Australia).
Hi Nada, list of ageless brands and stores please. Thank you. I just found your channel and it's really helpful. I'm 62 and need to level up my wardrobe. I work from home and care for my elderly mom. I'm usually in jeans and a tee.
Thank you, thank you!
You're so welcome! Thank you for the comment!
Thanks Nada!
Ageless list please
Massimo Dutti. Marks and Spencer. H&M. I am learning to make my summer dresses and blouses to achieve a good fit and to use quality fabrics
Love this!
Thanks so much Lynn!
Petite suggestions please! I shop at Boden, Banana Republic, J Crew
My decade is 40s. I would appreciate if you could do a detail post on level up particular stores to which stores. I think that would be most helpful.
Will do that! Great idea!
I love this channel and glad I found u!
Thank you so much! So glad you are here
Ageless please. For this season I’m finding things I love at Quince. I just turned 70 last month. I have all my classic basics and a couple of summer dresses I like. I need some fun pieces
Quince is on my list along with many others! Hope you find lots of inspiration here! hueandstripe.com/closet/306H&S4tPh?s=874959
Walmart and Old Navy.
I shopped at Talbots in my 20s and 30s. I had gorgeous dresses from a Talbots. Have they changed that much. And Old Navy T-shirts are much better than Gap or Gap Factory
Fashion fit formula, please,please share
Good morning!!
dear style guru...please share your list of stores that sell ageless clothes. greetings from Texas...I'll be 69 soon. looking for European style clothing to be ready for a book tour
What would be a plus size store for prints in 60’s?
Anthropologie! Check out the brands here. hueandstripe.com/closet/306H&S4tPh?s=874959
Hell: I am 5 days shy of my 60th birthday; lately I’ve been buying at JCrew , Talbots, Poshmark, and Quince
I do love Sundance, Garnet Hill. I do feel like Chico's is aging clothing for the most part.

Yes!! That sounds like the perfect goal style. Love it
I found an online store called AYR (all year round) and bought a shirt but they have a LOT of things l’d buy. I’m 61.
Love them! They have been in my videos before and they are on my Ageless Brands list. hueandstripe.com/closet/306H&S4tPh?s=874959
Many styles at
Wal-Mart are for very young ladies.
Wear Size 5 or 5 1/2 size shoes and VERY hard to find nice shoes in those
sizes, at ANY store. Very limited to find that size, new or at thrift stores.
Have you checked Walmart this season?. I have a client in her 60s who has found some beautiful all cotton dresses. They have really improved their selection and I highly recommend checking them out.. thanks so much for the comment. I always try to include things for different price points.
@@NadaManley
Hi Nada,
I added a few more comments to my post about having problems with finding pants that fit in length.
👍. You could wear colored denim &/or cargo skirts. If they are too long, cut them off to the length you like.
Good suggestion .....I do have a knee length denim skirt that I like wearing....casual and comfortable.
Macy's is where I shop.
I'm so sorry. That is frustrating. What style skirt are you looking for. I mean, besides the wide waistband. Maybe I can help.
@NadaManley Hi Nada, I prefer A-line, but straight skirts are fine . Knee length or midi. (I have an hourglass shape) Thank you Nada.🤎
If you have it, throw a summer’s eve cocktail party…..lol
Easy spirt for all my shoes .
Ageless please!
Hi Marlene! Here's the link! Let me know what you think! hueandstripe.com/closet/306H&S4tPh?s=874959
Ageless ❤️
Marks & Spencer's also has great shows, also wide fit and vegan
We have rules in retirement? 😂
Love make up. Was a make-up artist and model, but I can not see to put make-up on. 😂
Oh no! I am 70, and finally gave up on makeup after I got blepharitis. In any case here in Sicily, I wear sunglasses all the year round 😅
I understand about the makeup. It would be great if a make up artist could do one's makeup every day.
One of my aunts had permanent eyeliner applied …..
I find all the different jean and pant styles so confusing! Slim crop, wide-leg, bootcut, girlfriend, etc.??
To make it more confusing brands don’t give those styles consistent names so a straight leg and one brand could be a wide leg in another. I need to do a video on this and I determine what the actual style of the pants is.
Aritzia, Lulu Lemom
I think there is a need for underwear in your 60's. Can we talk bras, undies, spanx pcs, etc.?
No floral prints for me, prefer solids or a "classic" animal print. Loft, JC Penny's, thrift stores are go-to for me. I am petite and like petite size for pants.
J. Jill!
