I really love the brotherhood of saw people I have stumbled on the last year or so. This has been so much fun. The knowledge I have gained from y’all is priceless and I only cut/split a few trees a year for Christmas money. Best job I ever had. 💪
Nice pipe! It's good to have friends! I mentioned on the live stream that i was going to pick up a marketplace jred 670. Price was right and i brought it home. It has a mint mahle cylinder and piston, but otherwise it's a project. Full overhaul with all the thanks to you. Bearings are good, otherwise i ordered crank seals, oil pump o ring and x ring from your guy, av mounts, and a few other trinkets. Thanks for sharing all your experience with us! I learned all i needed to know from you. Btw, still chilly in MN, but above freezing this week.
Hi TINMAN just wanted to say thanks for your awesome content. I managed to revive a old Solo 680 that had been cooked with bad scoring and transfer from your vidios It runs like a weapon now. Much appreciated thanks all the way from New Zealand. Blake
“Knock on tin.” BAHAHAHAHA, you’re hilarious Tinman, I’m saying that from now on with anything saw related and I need a shot of luck from you buddy. Love your content, been a fan for a couple years now, was sent over to ya by Buckin’. You’re giving me confidence to maybe tackle a port job on one of my 038’s.
Hello and good morning from Iowa tin man. It is 35° and freezing rain but that’s fine. I love the new intro it’s just what you need for your videos. Have a great day.
Hello, Tinman. I also piped my 572xp and yes it gives you the right now throttle, must have for that model. Now just try a 8 pin, rim sprocket and the rpm’s will stay up better. I never miss a post keep up the great content, Thank you.
I spent many years in northwestern Minnesota. Same weather you guys have there. It's tough to explain how cold it can get....Tennessee winters are quite a bit milder...😁
Hi Tinman, Nice pipe! The torque band can definitely be increased and broadened with a work pipe that is tuned to the 572xp. I believe you are correct in that machine work needs to be done in order to get any real worth while gains from this point. The 572 responds very well to the right exhaust mods.
Kind of agree, a thin gasket and standard muffler mod got the throttle response and punch at the bottom end. Need to get to 165psi min to get the punch and throttle response. U can buy a .012" gasket for like 5 bucks. A lot cheaper than machine work. On mine I did the thin gasket, muffler, "tweaked" the ports a tiny bit, and pop up. It runs quite well . Only issue I have is my goofy full wrap that is a pita. And easy fix. And I USE mine, not just play in a wood pile, and have to say for me after 5 or 6 hours, I'm wanting a quiet muffler too.
Hwy Tinman, yeah ive been wondering about where yours went after i got one for my channel! I like the way they run stock to be honest.. but mines gonna get ported too 🤘
Marks pipes are awesome. I would love to see him build them for the MS462 and MS661 in addition to his current lineup, I feel there is alot of folks running those saws in addition to the Husky 372, 572 and Stihl MS500i saws. I feel they would really sell well for him.
This thing is awesome (Lloyd would say that to Harry). You should buy 120 one day and port that. I just bought it and it's really small and fun saw. It's not expensive either. Just a thought...
I would like to see a 041 ported. I have 1 that's just well used and I'm not sure if someone's molded it but it really impressed me. I thought it was fast for a old tractor so I put a tach on it and it was pulling over 10,000RPM in the cut with a 20 in bar buried in maple and walnut.
Great vid Tinmam!! Do you plan on porting your 572? Hope so. I got my unused 572 over at Dyno Joe's. I've requested for him too. Bored out modded and replated. I won't see if a while well that's fine. Hoping you port yours, I'd love to see the video.
HI TINMAN 😊😊 that chainsaw sounds good just like the old school chainsaws they sound like a bumble bee 🐝 😊 when they are cutting that way 😊😅🎉😅🎉😊 OMG 1 23 2O24
Hey brother I gutted my muffler on my 550 mk2 and I lost a good amount of throttle response. Slightly better too end yes but I want the little saw to be snappy for limbing, so not sure about muffler moding…
Hey Tinman, great vid, I have a 572 and 592, but here in Australia I run 98 octane fuel and 40:1 oil. I modified the stock 572 exhaust by removing the baffle, but I don’t think it made a lot of difference to power. Have you dyno’d any saws to see the difference?
Parts and tools are accumulating for my first build…my 625 is gonna become a…672ii-XP?? 😂 it’s going 52mm with a pop up and I’m debating between no base gasket or just a tin gasket but measurements will determine that decision when the top end gets here.
It's a ripper. Wait until you see the inside with the case cylinder match I have got one of mine apart very interesting slightly confusing, not sure you have to machine it might be some real gains to be had elsewhere.
Hey Tinnie!! 🤙🏻 I am ready to pull the trigger in a 70cc firewood saw. What would you pick? Husky 372xp or 572xp? (To get ported) Please help me out brother. Thanks man! Keep pullin!
I was actually able to get the same sort of performance and sound using a different style of muffler still using the swirl effect from the exhaust gasses
@@tinmanssaws Doing good we had 5 inch of snow but it's warmed up and been raining more of the day today. But glad I don't get the cold you get up there. That pipe looks and sounds sweet thanks for showing it

Glad you made this video because I had been wondering where it was too! Pipe is awesome!
Wow! Seriously incredible craftsmanship! Seems to have really woke that saw up👍🏻
Hello and good morning from Iowa tin man. It is 35° and freezing rain but that’s fine. I love the new intro it’s just what you need for your videos. Have a great day.
Might talk to Donnie Walker, he builds a strong 572. Bjarne Buttler runs Walkerized 572's with a 36 inch bar in massive cedars over in BC
Donny is a friend of mine..Great fella he is..

What a killer lookin' pipe!! She sounds AWESOME!! Unique sound, works good with the saw. What a storm, reminds me of winters in Wyoming.
I love the pipe for sure. It's storming here again tonight.
I know those winters Man. They can get long in the tooth...

that spillproof nozzle looks like it was meant for the oil, not gas.
Stihl bar on a husky is good for one full horse!! Husky bar and saw shed prob not start in that cold weather lol! Jk nice saw like that pipe!
What's a good saw to do a first build on? 18" bar
Also have you ran neo tech saw 73cc 24in bar. You can put up to 28 in bar on it . Let me have some input on it

Oh boy I want one!!!
so many for the sthils but one for the 572 oh boy

It Verks! It Verks! You know that you Have to grind on it 😂…..put 5 gallons on it first then grind. 😊
Wow.
That pipe is awesome.
Im wondering what it would cost.
I know what mean when the 572 bogges down.
What are those pipes worth? Didn’t see it listed on his website…
Nice Intro
I'd pay good money for pipes like that
Tinman I heard some bad reviews on the 572 Husky. My question is what's your opinion and will it hold a bigger bar than 20 in?
Mari kita tonton video ini
Hey Tinnman, do you still have your Olympic 999?
Crispy!!
That pipe is Bad A55!!
That's a nice pipe
Nice pipe
I have to run spark screen here in NW Montana or our forest service folks loose there minds
These pipes come with screens, no need for them here in winter.
Tinman, how do I get one of these pipes ?
There's a link in tje discription
Tell me about the Sthil bar. Is it made for a Husky? Or is it just a standard 3/8 Sthil bar? I didn't know this could be done. Sthil bars are good.
It's just a standard stihl bar
Tin man you should dye the plastics black. They look awesome black with the silver cases
I like a black saw for sure. Maybe I'll dye one some day
God that sounds and acts just like my 046 pipe I designed though that looks way cleaner
Hey Tinnie!! 🤙🏻
I am ready to pull the trigger in a 70cc firewood saw. What would you pick?
Husky 372xp or 572xp? (To get ported)
Please help me out brother.

It’s not you. It’s the welding equipment.
I have a 562xp I want that pipe for it how do I get one built?
There's a link I'm the description
Looks like Buckins Ram Horn muffler.
It's his design but built by Mark
