Great video! Nice of you to show people different options. My all time favorite iron sights are the Ameriglo Pro I dot sights with the yellow outlined front. I just like the look of the outlined front sight in the notch of the rear sight while shooting. I really only prefer the single dot tritium rear sight (straight 8), so I can see where the gun is in the dark.
I've tried Ameriglo, Night Fision, and Tru-Glo. Ameriglo I-Dot sights have the smallest tritium vial making them the hardest to see in the dark with my bad eyes. Night Fision is pretty good, but they fit extremely loose on my CZ. Tru-Glo have the largest tritium vial, they fit tight, and they're the cheapest. I'm going to be buying Tru-Glo from now on.

Cool video, you have an interesting variety there. I’m cross eye dominant (right hand, left eye) and I NEED a blacked out rear to have any hope of aiming with both eyes open. Shooting three dots I see six blurry dots and my focus jumps back and forth. I have Dawson Precision fiber optic front with the black serrated rear on my carry Glock, awesome sight picture but I worry it may be a bit fragile.
You are right on the money when it comes to Ebay and sights. I have bought several "Front sight" only, & many times are less expensive than a manufacture or product retailer. The I Dot is a real winner for me as well. Great video, Thank you-God bless, Shawn.
I've always been kinda bothered by the price of tritium sights. I used to buy my own tritium vials in about the same sizes as you see in tritium night sights and they only cost about $3/each, with some of them being larger and more expensive. Even the much larger and brighter one's were $6 or $7 each, but they're way brighter than any that come in night sights. With the companies buying them in bulk though, they probably pay less than $1 per vial and $0.01 for glowing pain, but they usually charge over $100 for each set. Even sights with only one tritium vial in the front sight are just as expensive in most cases. To make the sights at home it costs $20-$40... The $40 is if you buy standard pre-made sights for abt $20 and then add the larger, more expensive tritium vials and glowing pain/epoxy.
Not to fill up your TL but relevant. Used to like nothing but an orange tritium front. Now switched over to yellow / green. Maybe some correlation to yellow golf balls. Why? I simply see them better.

I've had Ameriglo red front and blacked out rear. I also have a Rock Island TCM and CZ Shadow 2 with fiber optic red front, blacked out rear. Unless you're shooting exclusively outside in bright light, red is just a hard color to pick up.
10:15 ... Do you prefer these XS 3-dot sights over the Big Dot sights? I only tried the big dot sights once, but I was so horribly inaccurate with them I never bothered to try them again. (Never had the opportunity again either though).

FN509 has been the best I seen on a pistol ever in my life. You can dance around with the sights like rifle sights I never seen on a pistol before.

At 2:20 those are not xs big dots maybe an xs sight just not the big dots.
