In this video DIY expert Craig Phillips shows you how to mount a TV wall bracket safely and securely to a wall using a level, hammer drill, various size drill bits, wall plugs and screwdrivers. This makes a refreshing change, seeing a scouser leaving a tv on a wall instead of taking one away uninvited. I enjoyed it, thanks Craig.
Did he leave the real tv ot a cardboard cutout of a tv. Quick go check you hubcaps and wheels.
😂😂😂😂😂😂

Best comment I've ever read on UA-cam 👍
@@topmaneldo hahaha thanks for massaging my ego !!!
Hey it's Craig from Big Brother. This guy is the only REAL person to come out of that show, this was in 1999 if i remember he won the first big brother and i think he gave most his prize money to charity. Craig was never bothered about the fame, he said he only did it for the experience. Reality Tv back then was a whole new thing in the UK.
Just brilliant... Sorry to bring back Big Brother but you were such a genuine guy on it....want to watch again now
Thanks for this really helpful and informative vid. It’s given me the confidence to mount our new tv above a blocked up fireplace in our living room. You’re very good at explaining diy things, keep up the good work. 👏👏👏👏
Amazing! That's why we make these videos. Got any more projects planned?
It's just Great to see Craig!
the 6mm pilot hole idea was amazing!! thankyou
No problem!
YES… I’ve had a nightmare today cos I started off drilling with the 10mm bit, holes veered off like he said and created carnage.
@@porkypk2677 glad it worked out for you mate , its a great feeling to finally mount your tv!
@@polrzx yes it is….. I’m going to “mount” my wife afterwards too to celebrate… 👍🏼👍🏼 winners all round

Having problems locating the studs in a new build, whats the device your using to detect them?
We'd recommend the 3-in-1 Detector for locating studs, wires and metal

So what kind of screws did you use ...
Great help thanks for the info Craig
No problem 👍
Should i use Raw Bolts if im drilling into brick 👍
I didn't learn a thing because I'm a moron I guess but I know this was a good instructional video.
Go on Craig 💪
Go on Craig!
Good stuff Craig thank you 👍
Do you provide this service? Thanks
Can it be without a stud finder
Nice and simple!
Great video, thank you.
Omg that’s Craig
Always thought the weight of tv would pull the plaster off etc
Big brother legend
The one and only
Hi Craig, will this work with any kind of Smart TV and Wall Mount Bracket? a very excellent UA-cam Video and thanks for sharing
This will work on any type of flat screen TVs
Can any tv fit on a wall I need to buy a new tv as my cats have just broke my 55inch tv 😱 but not gonna use a tv till its on a wall
Quiet shelf maker!!
Holy sh*t?? Is that Craig from big brother?
The one and only
Good videos I will get back to you with some questions?
Very well explained 👌
At the beginning he should have said "hi i'm Craig Phillips from Big Brother"
All I can hear is the Art Attack guy 😂
Aka a has been celeb.
Neil Buchanan....was expecting him to make some great artwork with screws, tools and masonry lol
I’m guessing having the power supply conveniently smack bang in the middle of the wall was planned? Mine is in the bottom right hand corner of the wall right next to a door. Will I need to have an electrician come out to install another power supply/move the current one? If that’s even possible I do not know
Just use an extension
Great video
Many thanks
Why does everything look titled
Wait a minute is this Craig from Big Brother?
I thought I recognised him from somewhere! 👁
Bo selecta!
Big Brother!
Best known for bo selecta 😂
Done it but it fell off
Hello from 1st Portstewart Scouts. 😩😩😩😩
Hi!
Good to see you escaped from Avid's cupboard my man!
That all I was thinking

Its this entire bit now that confuses the s**t outta me man 🙆🏻♂️
What confused you about it? A studded wall is a wall made of wood and plaster, behind the plaster are the studs that you need to locate to drill into, that's what will support your bracket and tv.
@@kemzy479 but whats a STUD ??
All so much assumed knowledge
@@DeeTeaDee it's a piece of wood 😂
@@kemzy479 i have wood behind the brick wall!?? What the hell??
@DD if its a brick wall you don't have a studded wall, you have a brick wall. Is your head made of wood? 🤣
Just need some PVA glue..
It washashashis it polishashis
Someone should let him know we have cordless drills these days. And you need to plug the TV in.
He mentions a cordless in the video. He was using a different type of drill to make the holes
guy didn't even check height lmfao just started drilling right away come on now
I am going to assume that Craig is expecting the person who is mounting the wall bracket to actually use a bit of savvy and work that one out for themselves?
@@chezzer58 still a step missed. There’s quite a bit of measuring tips and tricks that lots of people can find helpful. Especially if this videos is meant to be a beginner-friendly guide.
@@eliindy3851 This video appears to have served me well. Put up the bracket and attached the TV onto the bracket. So far so good. Thanks Craig.
