Fun video. I had forgotten about some of these. I do own two of A Girl for All Time dolls, and they are really beautiful, but hard to find clothes for. I've also owned several Hearts 4 Hearts dolls, which are adorable. I always wanted a Stardust Classic Kat but she is SO expensive. I'm not really a huge fan of Ruby Red Fashion Friends, they're cute but not my style. My Twinn are kind of fun but the 22" size is enormous.
I actually liked most of the MyTwinn dolls. Although the 22” size was pretty bulky for me to carry around as a kid. I had one but unfortunately her skin melted due to the heat & a broken air conditioner one summer which traumatized me. I wish they’d bring back the 18” ones.
A lot of these dolls are very interesting to look at! I don't like the appearance of any of them, however I like a lot of the outfits, accessories, sets, and ideas! Also, the hair on some of these dolls looks phenomenal!
After watching your video, I jumped on eBay and totally bought Laurel from Stardust Classics. My hobby is restoring dolls, and I’d never owned a fully vinyl girl! ❤ I love love love her! I tightened her limbs bc she was very loose, but came out so wonderfully! Now I just have to restore her beautiful curls, and this lovely girl will be ready to join my other girlies 🥰 and let me say, her wig is gorgeous 😮
I have Maplelea Saila, A Girl for All Time Matilda, Carpatina Veronika, and Hearts 4 Hearts Shola and Dell. I absolutely love all of these dolls, and they are extremely well-made (Carpatina in general makes very heavy, sturdy dolls). Another, more budget-friendly brand I would suggest is Journey Girls (off of Amazon). Not only do the dolls have beautiful faces, but their clothing is cute and nicely made at a fraction of the cost.
Ooh I LOVE this video! I only collect two doll lines (AG & RH/SH) but these are all so fascinating. I'm most tempted by the Ruby Red Fashion Friends but if I start collecting anything else, dolls will entirely take over my house since I tend to hyperfixate.
I love Carpatina and via e dolls, they are super duper good quality. Queen’s treasures are much prettier in person than in stock photos and they are good quality too.

I have made a castle for the princess, a bedroom and library for Kat, the time traveler. And a tree house for the fairy, haven’t ever quite finished it tho. Another group of dolls that you might be interested in, are the 14” Global Friends dolls. They are no longer made
I have a few AG dolls but also have a number of AGAT dolls. My sister had one of those twin dolls made for her daughter years ago it’s actually a really beautiful doll they did an amazing job on it.
I had one of the Stardust dolls, and so did my sister! Thanks for helping me find the name of them after forgetting for so long! They had a doll builder website that I remember playing with endlessly ahaha!
I’m waiting on KMF31 from Maplelea! She’s the Black friend doll. She look like a sister to my AG 112. I have to find her a name. I hope to get Leonie and Charlsea some day. They look so cute when you see others people’s photos. Their stock photos don’t show them in a good light.
Thanks for making this super informative video. I hadn’t heard of most of these doll lines but the attention to detail they all have is extremely cool. I actually had a My Twinn doll when I was younger but by that point the dolls had this terrifying defect where their eyes turned purple in sunlight (I looked it up and found out that it was a recent issue related to their quality drop). This, on top of the doll being so much taller than my 18 inch dolls made me not want to use it anymore.
This is such a cool video!! I remember having an 18” doll from Family Christian Bookstore as a child. That thing was super creepy, but it was supposed to be some kind of bible related story or something. I ended up giving it a haircut and using it as a boy doll 😅
The only line I'd never heard of before this video was the stardust classics dolls. Oh wow I love all the details on them! I wish I'd known about them as a child, I might have been able to get one. I wanted ag, but they were too expensive for my parents to afford. Stardust being cheaper would have helped to fill that desire I had for something bigger than barbie. (Which I had tons of😂) I can guarantee I would have been torn between Kat and Alissa, as they're the closest to historical american girl.
Hi Very interesting video. I have 3 Gotz doll from Germany. They are very popular and sought after in Europe a bit like AG in North America. I also have a Bonnie and Pearl doll who are now discontinued but were so popular in England that they were bought for the Royal kids. My other dolls are AG.
Great video. I recently got Sailia after they restocked her. I adore her. The Hearts for Hearts are tough to find and I have two. I have three Ruby Red as well.
I have heard of a few of the dolls obviously Maplelea (thanks to u 😊). I got a doll wig from Ruby Red so I did hear about the dolls. I was surprised My Twinn was discontinued. I guess My Twinn didn’t realize how fast little girls grow up.

YES! I had a few of the books growing up and when I found out they made dolls too I was shocked as I'd never known it back then. I looked them up on ebay recently and sadly they're more expensive now than some ag stuff😭

I think Stardust dolls was created by Carpatina’s owner or has something to do with them, face molds has so much similarities.
