Hi Sophia! I enjoyed hearing your story when you as a little girl got your room ready for your new Taryn and that she’s till apart of your doll family. That wig you put on your Maplelea & Me is perfect! It suits her so well. I have two Hearts for Hearts dolls that I found on eBay and FB marketplace. I think they are the cutest 14-inch dolls ever and wish they were more common in the thrift stores. I only ever found 1 American Girl doll in a Goodwill. They usually are snatched up quickly or sold on the shopgoodwill shop. Kaya is my favorites historical. If I had the space, I would love to have her Tee Pee and her horse. She and Nanea were my first brand new in box historical dolls that I added to my doll family. I also feel the same way about Ivy. I don’t like her hairstyle and feel like long hair would have fit her so much better. I actually had her in my collection at one point and sold her (and Julie) together. I like your TM as an Ivy. And I love TM #91. I have three of her in my doll family. One is my comfort doll. Another I keep in her meet outfit and a third, I plan to customize into a boy. I also believe in Law of Attraction and that the Universe pays attention.

Of you could get a purple headband tjat would really work well but even just black. Did you keep her or sell her?

Your offhand mention of the two D&D dolls you're working on has made me start to keep a closer eye out to try and find a doll at thrift stores to customize into my changling chaos maker Aemar. Also I just noticed in the background of your final part that you have the exact Elina barbie I had as a kid and got hit with the heavy nostalgia all over again 🤣

If you can find files that are ready to print a lot of libraries and universities have 3D printing services, I know Dalhousie here in Halifax does 3D prints by the gram for the public, and the public library used to do it and I've heard rumours about them starting up again, so it's always worth an email, even if you're not particularly close!

It's been a while since I have watched Ivy and Julie A Happy Balance, a movie from Amazon prime but every lunar new new Ivy's mom makes her change her hair so before her hair was longer and her mom made her get a bob with bangs. So your truly me that looks Ivy could be per lunar new year Ivy.

I adore your nutcracker collection Sophia!! I was thinking about your lighting problems..daylight bulbs are fantastic for indoor photography (like the one you have). It's not so much about the brightness as it is about the 'temperature' of the light. Have you considered putting up (sorry I don't know the technical name) the stuff they insulate houses with that has a reflective surface, comes on a giant roll at hardware. It would be easy to attach to ceiling and would bounce the light around even more than white? Just thinking out loud. Love your collection..thank you for sharing.

The fuzzy socks remind me of Molly’s Christmas stocking with those red and green stripes. Cute! I don’t like wearing fuzzy socks with shoes, either. I just wear them in the house. Love the custom Funko!

We have some things in common. I need to be gluten-free too. I have IBS so I mostly (mostly) stay away from all grains and packaged foods. Those chocolate-covered pretzels are really good! I’m cleaning up my diet again. I love your deer nutcrackers. I think most animal heads on a human body are creepy but deer especially. I also read Law of Attraction books and most new age. Love rocks, minerals, and crystals.

My girlfriend who is an artist told me to use matt finish on the doll to cover the marks from rubbing and falling. Just a thought.

As below I use a nail file emery board lightly, after that I use a nail buffer too. It is always scary doing new procedures for the first time. I remember doing a full limb tightening for the first time, it was scary, now it's a piece of cake.

Great job! I use nail polishing files on mine.

Your Funko is so cute! The little doll is the perfect addition. And I really like the Glutino pretzels- I’ve had good luck with the majority of their products. I’ve been gf for 15 years and thankfully there’s a lot more products on the market than there was a decade ago. I’m still finding new items all the time! Though it does make it harder to find stuff without canola oil. I’ve recently had to cut a lot more ingredients out of diet. Including oils. I’ve been having a problem with histamines and only found a few prepackaged things that are ok with me so far. But I’m glad that you have found that cutting canola oil out has helped you. Now that I haven’t had any in several months, I think it had maybe increased my anxiety more than I realized. I definitely notice a difference at least. Happy holidays!

Watching this on the SmartTV my parents got me for Christmas! Swedish Berries (and Fuzzy Peaches) are a Canadian thing! I've had to pack up the party size bags every time I send a care package to my American friend because they got hooked on Fuzzy peaches when they visited me years ago!! As someone who is also hella lactose intolerant and also Canadian Aero bars have so little it's negligible (also topping a hot cocoa with a square or two of the mint aero bars is such a good combo 10/10 recommend it)

I use the micro mesh all the time and it is amazing. You can get rid of shine marks as well. I use 1500, 1800, 2400 and 3200 for a finish. Good luck

I personally collect the early gotz romina dolls but I'm nit sure if I'd recommend too many others trying to collect them because the prices have gotten to be insane. These days you can't really buy a romina doll unless you have an extra 2 to 3 grand just lying around or unless you are abke to save up that much. It's a lot more expensive then collecting ag dolls. Probley because romina were not produced for as long or had as many made as the 1986 dolls even.
