Autoplay completely ruins every single Mobile MMO i've ever tried, I just gave up even trying anything else out these days. Not even mentioning the garbage monetization.
*This game is great...* *If you don't actually want to play the game, and turn your computer into their little Mining-machine.* *The perfect Game for people with no self-control and or Gambling Addictions.*
U can always tell an mmo rpgs quality by its UI alone, and god forbid if I see a top up option I’ll start set tripping at blizzard immediately and with great violence
It's strange you have only 17k subs as your videos are fun and entertaining to watch, the editing is neat, and even though I haven't played nor intend to play most of the games you show, I subbed and got myself a snack - ready to watch more videos!
Thanks :) I try to make videos that can be entertaining even if people aren’t necessarily into the game. It’s comments like yours that keep them coming. Glad you are enjoying the content.
There's a new, just as controversial Idle-MMORPG that's making the rounds this month - Ni no Kuni Cross Worlds. It's Netmarble's main competition to Wemade, who made Mir4. Just like Mir4, it's also F2P-P2E. But unlike Mir4, it's getting more flack because it has a popular IP and Studio behind it. I hope you can make a review for that coz I like your style, along with other mobile non-Idle MMORPGs like Asobimo's many well-loved games like Iruna & Toram (Toram is also on Steam).
Oooh Maaan, this guy made one of the Best game reviews I've ever seen .. Cheers Someone promote this guy to High Level Reviewer .. I never seen such a balance of well presented useful information and Great sense of Humor
for me it is a great game a very free to play friendly game the only thing you're gonna hate is that it is time consuming if you want to advance quickly you should leave it leveling 24/7 HAHAHA crafting materials is quite hard also :)
MIR4 for me is the best of the best.. Its like an trueAction MMORPG. I love it's pvp system is so satisfying when you win a fight, clan wars, valley war, casttle war are just amazing pieces of art for me...
your review is accurate, although we had a different new player experience, since you started playing it late while i started playing it 2 months after its opening, you have minimal player interaction while i had a blast of fun fighting since everyone at that time was killing each other for darksteel, literally nonstop killing for it, eventually you will have to grind your way up in order to avenge your character and not get bullied, join a competitive clan and experience clan vs clan battles, sadly this game is not really new player friendly, i guess to prompt new players to buy characters through NFT.
I still play mir4 today.. now almost 2 years.. being a player that has played almost all western mmorpgs. I always considered Mir4 as a "micro-mmorpg" the maps are super small though the world is still "large" its just a lot of loading between mini areas. then there is crafting which is over simplified to offense and defense. but honestly the reason people stick with the game is it's very fluid pvp system.. the combat is just very satisfying.
@@MitchManix Oh I didn't notice it. Yeah I've tried it. It's real. Adding P2E in games is a double-edged sword. The good is there are more human players which is great for any MMORPG/Idle-MMORPG, the bad is there's a lot of Chinese bots too. With further refinement, P2E & NFTs will be good to MMORPGs in the long run. For example, if the P2E currency part is rewarded not as common drops or farms, but as reward for high skill play (to avoid bots). Like in Raids and Guild Wars. The NFT part is obvious. Imagine a One-time Event where only 1 player will receive a rare Equipment? If that was minted, it will totally make the News. True scarcity will make MMORPGs exciting.
Great video, quick questiong though. Long story short. Use to play games like Everquest and Wow. Now days My hands are totally busted and im looking for a game that will auto play/quest/battle on PC. How close is this to what I am looking for? DO you have any other recommendations.. Thanks again for all your help. Keep making these awesome videos.
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed this one. The game will allow for essentially setting up your character and having the quest/mission play out automatically. Really good for those like yourself that is looking for something a bit less taxing on the hands.
@@MitchManix Okay thank you, I will give it a shot, just wanna see some character level and progress, sounds like this should do the trick. thanks again
@@Spacetrucker138 LotRO is playable with one hand. Click to move and then if you target an enemy and use an ability, you walk in range. It's actually a great game and has an old school pace and feel
I think people like the social/politics/war of the game. The fact it's tied with the financials IRL makes it even more intense because more is at stake in war. You just don't get to experience this unless you're in the top clans (guilds). Most of your time is spent idle leveling and progressing just for the sake of preparing for war or making other people less likely to go to war against you. The game isn't new player friendly because you will never catch up to the top-end players with months of progress ahead of you, so the only real way to catch up is to buy a strong character that is in the top 100 ranks of your server. Not only that, you just don't get to experience the game if you're a new player or average ranked player. 99.99% of the game is just boring idle grinding in preparation for the fun parts I guess. Not a main game, but a decent side game that I use for side money while I play other games.
Oh man, it's not a good game. Everything needs money. What a game even real life doesn't need such a bunch of money to win the in-game competition. MIR4 is just like a gambling mechanism, gambling for trash. We play for enjoying man, not for spending money like this game. Stay away from this game otherwise it will destroy your life.
I'm about to pick it back up. I'm a graveyard shift security officer with plenty of downtime. You should review chimeraland as well. I played that game but it got very repetitive towards the endgame. Plus it will be cool earning some extra cash on the side making my work time that much more rewarding
The only reason this game continued to be popular is because the real money you can earn from the NFT/Blockchain stuff is substantial in poorer countries. I wouldn't even call it an "mmo", it's impossible to find anyone willing to party for content because 99.9% of the playerbase are only interested in mining for digital currency, and the majority of those are using bots to do it.
So help me ... I wanna at least try this gorgeous mess for a little bit. And intrusive/non-intrusive game-mechanics and gameplay are my BANE. ESPECIALLY as someone who's only played mouse and keyboard over the past two years, since I grudgingly hooked myself on SWTOR. And I've had that garbled mechanics gripe before (Mass Effect, PS3 controller: love it, but however my intuitiveness goes, ME ain't it ... which doesn't make it any less of a fantastic series ... but the most flawless, intuitive mechanics and play for me by far belong to DAII, PS3) with games that I have enjoyed and better than I would this one, in general. AND YET.... It's official: You could sell icicles to polar bears. You must NEVER use this power for evil. DON'T be a real life-GalactiChad! DO keep putting out such sterling and consumable content!
It's grindy. And you'll never beat the whales. But if you join a mid tier clan, you could nft your player. I would have loved that in World of warcraft. I have been playing over a year. The game isn't the focus. But players will collect "players " and ... Well.. it's like a 4x game. ... But very grindy.
the UI hud can be minimized! it is an amazing game the best mmorpg on the market , ask yourself the big question, DO YOU WANT TO GRIND FOR 1000's of hours to LEVEL >?!?>>?! > now if you have a life it is obviously a huge no. the game lets you focus on the fun quests instead!
Don't need to waste you time in there, is just a advanced agressive cash graber like many others, but unlike others Mir4 would be a AMAZING game without the p2w content but that will never happen. Sadly is just a pile of p2w crap, if you spend money you will dominate, if not you'll be literaly nothing.
Hahaha that mobile game UI tho, what a piece of garbage. Might as well just take a shit in your PC case and throw it away rather than play this digital waste on it.
I have very fond memories of mir 2 and 3 (as you can tell by my username). I always imagined them releasing a 3d game based on the worlds that already existed but this didn't seem like that at all.
I don't know what it is, but the game is weirdly addictive when you get into it. Maybe the dopamine hit of seeing your power score tick up. It's also one of the only blockchain/NFT games I managed to make serious money with (~$400 from one character NFT sale over a year ago). It seems to make no sense why so many people play it on steam alone, but they do.
Autoplay completely ruins every single Mobile MMO i've ever tried, I just gave up even trying anything else out these days. Not even mentioning the garbage monetization.
It's awful. Just awful.

What western mmos have you played? I've been looking for some good ones but they all have auto🥲
your lancer looks like Ash from Army of Darkness after his face gets sucked into the Necronomicon..........I lOVE IT!

Ah, Legend of Mir 2 was one of the greatest games to ever grace this earth... Dragon and Pheonix Servers both had great communities of people.
You forgot one of the main reasons people play this game - this is a blockchain/NFT game and you can earn a bit of money with it.
Did mention it right at the end so some ppl may not have seen. Have you tried it? Not really my sorta thing but interesting non the less

That Wolf was absolutely played by Bubbles from TPB.
You spend 70 hours for this ? Such a remarkable fit of fortitude.
