For me the real star of the video was that AGCO tractor on the grain cart. Man! I miss those orange tractors. I really like the way these newer Gleaner combines look and work. I remember that youg guy from the other video. he's great on camera and seems to have a very good handle on things.
What I like best about the Gleaner combines, is their smaller and more compact size. They can get in and out of small fields with far more ease than the big behemoths on the current market. I rode in an R52 once, and it was a pleasure.
Allis Chalmers & Gleaner was really big around us until Allis went out of business. My grandfather said there used to be just as much Allis Chalmers as International and John Deere. When they went out of business most farmers switched to International/ Case IH because they moved into the old dealership. Nearest AGCO dealer now is about 40 miles north of us.
New Holland Twin Rotor Combine has the Cleanest Grain Sample Hands Down of ANY Combine Manufacturer that I have been around. BEST Soybean Sample which is why Most Seed Bean Farmers and Manufacturers prefer New Holland Combines. John Deere being the Worst Grain Sample of all of the manufacturers!
No. He graduated a few years ago. When I started BTP UA-cam 13 years ago he was driving the grain cart tractor which was an AGCO DT160A and his dad was harvesting with a Gleaner R75. Family faring at its best.
He also wrong when he said that Gleaner only makes a 35’ Platform Header which is Wrong, Gleaner makes a 40’ Platform Header 25’-40’ Draper Header. So they DO make a Unload Auger that will work with a 40’ Platform, it’s just having that 3’ Unload Auger Extension does help.
Gotta love Gleaners. Light weight, small and incredible clean grain sample.
That’s what we run, we like them.
Don’t forget very efficient and productive.
@@2234Cy yep, we run a 1993 R52 and a 2002 R72.
The speed is also impressive
100 years says a lot definitely one of the best combines out there
My Favorite Brand of Combines..Glad to see you are filming more of them.
Great video of the most under rated combine on the market. Need to see more of these.
I agree. Gleaner is a combine well worth trying out.
I agree
These new machines would seem like science fiction to farmers who lived 100 years ago!!
So many hours spent on a G model..so many memories..Love seeing Gleaner and Allis equipment on your channel

Got to love the AGCO DT series. Paying homage to Chalmers. Wish they brought that brand back.
@@jurpikag Me too.
Great to see a gleaner, that’s what we run, great machines.
Very nice. Gleaners do such a good job. I like your R52. I hope to feature in the future.
@@bigtractorpower hey that’d be awesome, just me know, naturally it’d have to be next fall now that harvest is over.
What a beautiful machine and it sure does eat up the corn!

S97 is moving along pretty fast !!
They eat up the acres fast.
Gleaners were Allis Chalmers machines when I was a kid. They always had a good reputation.
It’s certainly getting along at a cracking pace! Top machine 👍
Very nice young man can tell he was raised right
yep got a soft part in my heart for gleaners
The simplicity of your life is truly inspiring
Woohoo Gleaner!!
I like to see gleaner combines at work😁👍 maybe they look different, but they get the job done nicely👍😉
Grew up riding with dad in an F then he got an L2 then a 94 R72 with the big Deutz and then a 98 R72. I'd love to play with an S series!!!
GLEANER FTW!!
Definitely a winner 😁👍👍
If I could ever afford a small combine for my place it would be a gleaner... Thx Jason
Gleaner makes good combines.
*S97 is making significant progress at quite a rapid pace!*
Good video.
Thank you Frank. It’s a nice combine.
I get pretty excited when I see a new gleaner video. I like to film them and take pictures of them. Great video btp👍
Thank you for watching. Gleaners are always great to see in action. 👍👍
Great video. I have become a fan of the Gleaner combine. Moving 5.5 miles per hour combing corn that is pushing some corn out of the field.
Gleaners sure do a nice job harvesting.
They’re running 5.5 mph because they’re running an eight row on a combine that needs a 12 row.
I used a JD7700 Turbo combine with a 215 bean head 35 ac and 643 corn head 14 ac in north central Missouri.
Very very cool. The 7700 is one of my favorite combines.
@@bigtractorpower I bought it off of a retired farmer where it sat for 15-20 years. It has been enjoyable (and pricey) getting it back into the field.
Good video brother 👍
Finally UA-cam you did it
Thank you for watching.

So, not walking distance? lol
I'm digging some gleaner videos right now.
Great combines.
We run a 12 row drago on our S97 it handles it pretty well I hope it is as good of machine as the S 77 it replaced
The S77 is a great combine. The S97 is extra nice. Big cab upgrade.
Very nice 👍👍👍
Spettacolare! Bellissima macchina! Ed è anche piuttosto veloce nei campi di mais! grande Big Tractor Power!
That’s not a car 😂
Good evening
Hello. Thank you for watching.
From running an A2 to a G then to an R40 which we are still using. Simple machines. Easy to work on. Wouldn't own anything else.
Awesome video keep it up
Operated a GH Gleaner combine, Whitman County..... Eastern Washington State
Very cool. The Hill Sides are neat machines.
And I have drove a gleaner combine to, and old one.And I like the ground speed to.
Fantastic very good
👍👍
it's a 9.8L 7 cylinder sisu engine in the 97 and 98
Beleza sapato na colheita de milho a minha pergunta é essa colhedeira que tô vendo é diferente de outras ela é melhor é❤❤❤

Thank you for watching.
I don't know this brand 😮Very high speed
It can go from 375 to 551 bulge hp? Wow, those turbos ain’t no joke.
👍👍
Hey just figured out my better 8550 of my two is No.26 of the run of them, so its a 78 the other one is middle of the run so end of 79

Going pretty fast how much flying out the back 😅😅
Less than other makes.
Is that kid in high school yet?

Gleaner the silver seeder, ugliest combine made, but looks like it doing the job.
Gleaner Cleaner-!
I’ve seen my neighbors reseed their fields with their green and red machines, it’s all in how you set them.
I'm sure they have improved since the C2 and G
@@dannyroach8743 for sure
I wonder how much grain loss he's having? Going pretty fast!
Very very little. The S series really have it dialed in.
